BEWARE of Metro by T-Mobile on Elmira Vacaville! They are SCAMMERS!!!…read more Mya and Genesis are very unprofessional and manipulative. I went in to buy my daughter a phone. Mya the store manager had stated an IPhone 13 128 GB was $250 with activation fee and 1st months bill. She also stated a tablet and phone case was free. When she asked me if I wanted to add a line for the tablet, I had told her NO. I also asked her if the phone case or tablet would show on the receipt and she said no. We were rushing with 3 kids running around, we didn't even think that she would over charge us. Until I got home, and received a message stating the monthly bill would be $70, due to the fact that she did in fact add the second line for the tablet, when I clearly said NO. When I looked at the receipt, I saw she charged us 425$ for purchases we never even received (speaker and power bank), and that she did in fact charge us for the tablet $13. When my husband went back the following day for a refund for the tablet and the speaker and power bank we never received. Mya stated those purchases were required and part of the purchase for the phone and only refunded him back the $13 for the tablet. She also mentioned that, Since she didn't have the items in stock she gave us a phone case instead. But when you look at the receipt, it says $43 for 2 items. So we basically paid $90 for a phone case? And she said yes. When we requested a refund, she said she needed the box for the return. So I went back, and she had Genesys tell me they couldn't do the refund without the district manager. After talking to corporate and a different metro store, it came to my knowledge a district manager was not needed for the refund. So, I went back one last time and demanded my refund. But instead Mya was upset I posted my experience my experience on the Solano Community FB page and said it was bad for business. After requesting a refund 4x, I yelled at both Mya and Genesys, and warned incoming customers of their shady business. Mya then banned me from the store. So she can ban me from the store but can't give me a refund? Make it make sense. Mya and Genyses both make money by commission, so charging me for these extra items I never received only benefits them. And stating I have to come Thursday or Friday when the district manager was available is ridiculous, when I asked for the time he will be in they said they didn't know, so they basically want me to run around and chase down the district manager? This is ridiculous and very unprofessional. Metro by T-Mobile is scamming the working class that works hard to make these purchases. All I wanted was an honest transaction, even if I had to pay $600 for a phone, I value honesty. And when that is crossed, I will then continue to post on social media to create awareness. This is not right. Atttached is a picture of my receipt for your reference. Where it clearly states I was charged for *speaker and power bank I never received * tablet that Mya stated was free and nothing would show up on the receipt * $75 activation fee This place is a scam! I would also like to add Mya and Genesis are on Yelp hyping up themselves and the store. They are so pathetic.

The screen saver cracked and I "thought" I had the screen saver that has a life-time guarantee. I was in formed I had not registered it, using the QR code (no one mentioned I had to do this), so I was informed when I went to get a replacement. I could not get a new one without paying $100 for it. That did not sit well with me, as I had never been informed I had to register my "screen saver", for this guarantee to work. I went to Best Buy, bought a new life-time screen saver for $35.00 and had it installed. All I have to do to replace it if it should crack, is go into a Best Buy store, tell them the cell number it was automatically registered under, and I immediately get a new screen saver. No BS, no wasting time and no tricks to make more money from a customer. I do NOT recommend Verizon, and will soon change my service to someone else.

ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE: NEVER TRUST GEEK SQUAD WITH IPHONE REPAIRS…read more Even though they are an authorized Apple service provider, dealing with the Geek Squad at this Vacaville location for an iPhone warranty repair has been an incredibly frustrating, incompetent mess from start to finish. I dropped my phone off on 8/16. I had already completed all advanced troubleshooting myself (restore and DFU mode) to fix a boot loop unsuccessfully. The Geek Squad agent, Abraham, couldn't get it to work either, so he determined the device needed to be shipped to an Apple service center. He did warn me that the turnaround would be 3-5 business days and that all my data would be wiped. If I could do it all over again, I would have walked out right then and gone straight to an official Apple Store. Why? For starters, Geek Squad does absolutely nothing except act as a useless middleman to ship your phone away. Unlike an actual Apple Store, Best Buy doesn't provide a loaner device, which left me digitally stranded without a phone for a full 10 days. Had I known they were just going to mail it out and let it drag on, I would have handled the shipping to the service center myself to avoid this massive delay and inconvenience. Instead of the promised 3-5 business days, the process took a full 10 days. According to official carrier tracking, the repaired phone was physically delivered back to the store and signed for by a Best Buy employee named Roman on 8/24 at 10:29 AM. Yet, when I went to the store two days later, they claimed they didn't have it. They tried to give me the runaround, making up nonsense excuses about needing to call Apple and have them provide a "new serial number". After I spent hours trying to call the store (Best Buy does not route any of the calls to the actual store), and escalated the issue to Apple Support to demand accountability, the store finally called me back with an excuse claiming the phone was "misdelivered to the PetSmart next door." Absolute BS. A courier doesn't drop off a secure, signature-required Apple service shipment at a pet store. They clearly just misplaced it in their own house and lied to cover up their internal tracking mess. To top it off, Apple swapped out the logic board, so my data is completely gone. At least that is one thing I can't blame the store for, but definetly some poopy icing on an already decaying cake. Geek Squad's internal logistics are a total joke, their communication is nonexistent, and their customer service is built entirely on excuses. Save yourself the massive headache and go straight to an actual Apple Store or handle the mail-in process yourself directly. Best Buy repairs plain suck, and I am staying away from Geek Squad for good.

Given I need 3 phones asap I budgeted for the 15 so we knew what we wanted. We were checked in and told there would be a wait. We were prepared to be patient but almost immediately we were called over. Here is where we were fortunate to meet Vanity. We told her what we wanted, she tried to get us to think about the size difference of the phone but wasn't pushy about it. She did let us know about the restock fee if we returned it. We should have listened to her. My mom had the phone all of one evening and struggled with the size. So back to the store we went this week. My mom had called to be sure Vanity was there and she remembered us. She was under the weather and apologized that she wasn't herself *she was only slightly less wonderful. She took us right away. *there was no one waiting She politely reminded us of the restock fee, which while any restock fee sucks, I knew I was paying it before going in. I knew this because she was so thorough the first time. While she wasn't feeling well she was still just as thorough with us the second time around. And this time my mom was completely happy with the purchase. As a manager, I know how hard it is to find an ace. You have one. Vanity is incredibly knowledgeable about all things T-Mobile. She has impeccable customer service skills offers value and benefits while listening to need and meeting them. Not to mention, she is compassionate in her interactions and personable. Vanity a rare find and I will be recommending her to anyone I know or meet with any cell phone need in both my professional and personal life. I will be back for my phone upgrade and have her card so I know she'll be there, she is just that easy to work with. Thank you Vanity, you made me but more importantly my mom very happy. I called the Vacaville store that evening. A woman answered. I asked if we could upgrade the phone that we purchased online. She asked if it was open, used(it wasnt. never even taken out of the box.)She told me Yes, the ordered online phone could be brought in and we'd pay the difference. I came in the 15th about 1030am. A young man was setting up a table outside. He put in my info and told me that there's no record of the phone. I showed him the order #, email and that the woman I talked to the night before said it could be.He told me I was given the wrong info. All phones bought online needed to be returned online and you only have 7 days to do so. I noticed a flyer on the register that said free doughnuts on the 15th. None were out. Nor, was he friendly enough to ask. Frustrated I left, went into my car, called to return the phone. Returned the phone to UPS on the 16th. Feb 17th my husband called cricket to verify they had Apple 16 pro max in stock. They did only in the color of black. We drove down there. The same young man was working. My husband said we called a bit ago to see if the iphone was in stock. wed like to purchase one. The associate said "Do you know our pricing" I assumed he was seeing if we already were customers. I was just in two days before so, he should have recalled my attempt of return. He then said they start at $1600.(online starts $1200.) Husband said $400 more for in the store? He said we are a franchise so different prices. My husband asked why didn't you say that on the phone. He responded with you did not ask. We saw the prices online. Would never think it you went in a store they'd be $400 more. In both visits to this store the employee was not knowledgeable, was not empathetic to the wrong information. Was not approachable. Never apologize, he could really careless if any sales were made. I would not recommend this store. Wasted two trips. We have been cricket customers for over 10 years, hopefully this can be used as a training activity to be more knowledgeable of store returns, sales and how to treat customers.

I went back to the store to get this issue resolved, this time I spoke with Natalie, told her what happened and I wanted to pay the additional fees. She got on the computer and sat there not saying a word. After waiting 10 minutes I asked her if everything was all right, she said she was on the phone with Customer Service and had 4 more minutes of wait time. Another 15 minutes went by without a single word coming out of her mouth, I again asked if everything was ok. She said I would owe the $11 plus and additional $4 for processing fees. I said no, this was your mistake and the four dollars should be paid by the store, this was not my mistake but theirs. She told me because I was paying in person I had to pay, At that time I blew up, that girl was rude, and her customer service skills were horrible. Someone needs to have a long talk with this person and tell her how to treat customers. And while we're on the subject, I think it's just terrible to charge customers a ridiculous fee just because they pay in person. Some of us are old school and like to go in and pay in person.
