Anna helped me so much and went out of her way to find me a good pair of glasses that were budget friendly yet quality, fit right and look good with my blonde/brown hair. They had a $109 wall where I picked out 3 pairs of the 5 I was interested in. All and all I got a cool pair of Ray Bands for $117 with tax. My husband and I have been searching for months to find the clear Oakley meta glasses for his job. We called and spoke to an employee named Kevin over the phone who really wanted to help us end the search. He went as far as writing our number down to let us know as soon as the store received another pair. Two days later we get a call they are there. He was kind and patient with us bringing in our toddler into a delicate store. We valued his willingness to help and optimism throughout our entire experience from phone to store. She was able to show me different styles of frames that I liked and they can order things online for you. I came back the next day and bought two pairs of ray bans during their buy one pair at full price, get one 50% off. It was the best deal out there at sunglass hut! My sunglasses came with a case and a 1 year warranty. Damaged sunglasses purchased here can be returned with proof of purchase to any sunglass hut store within 1 year from purchase. I believe they said they would give you 50% off a new pair regarding a replacement under the warranty for a damaged pair. Also, Sunglass Hut gives a 15% off discount with a military ID! I was able to get that on my full price sunglasses only. They also offer a discount for first responders, teachers, Military, Medical Workers and Government workers! Horrible customer service due to poor training and a lack of diligence on the corporate side. The ladies were very nice but unhelpful. I went to Sunglass Hut twice in one day. During my first trip the lovely young lady could not log in the system to order replacement parts. So she told me the come back. When I came back in the afternoon again, two very friendly ladies could not help me due to being unsure of the part. They send me over to the new location cross the street and they are closed early due to someone wanting to do inventory early. A lot of wasted time with my issue left unresolved. read more

Sunglass Hut was a surprise, but I don't shop the outlets much anymore... But there it was, right across from the restrooms, and since I could no longer find Restoration Hardware, I walked in. They do have most of the Ray-Ban Catalog, but since it was in an "outlet mall", I thought "Maybe a discount!". No such luck, since the glasses-game is completely owned by Luxotica, and everything is corporate BS, and they promised the glasses I chose would be delivered in 3-4 days... Heck, on the website they promise "Two-Day Delivery"... No such luck, it's 8 days later and still, no delivery. So, zero points for honesty, zero points for "Outlet Discount", no points for "Senior Discount" or even "Loyalty Discount", but they will discount 20% if you buy two pairs, even though they raised the prices about 40% in the last year... So buy your Ray-Bans online, they will probably come faster, and folks, never, ever, ever take the "display pair", as it has been tried on by 2000 other customers... The return / exchange policy is unwavering regardless of any circumstance and the commission sales teams are rude and high pressure. my husband bought me a pair of sunglasses for Christmas and I cringed when I saw the bag! The glasses did not fit and were never worn in the original bag and sales bag. I was ready to spend several hundred more for a great pair of sunglasses, however, due to severe COVID illness - the exchange I wanted to make was after the tight 30 days strict no return : exchange policy. I will never, and I do mean never ever shop here again and neither will my husband. BE WARNED all they want is an immediate sale not loyal customers. I think it's a sign. I need to get my own Ray Ban aviator sunglasses because it seems like everybody in SF is wearing one! At the mall, downtown, etc. people are sporting this classic style. It's flattering, although the frames are flimsy thin (ALWAYS put it back in its case) I'm sure you can find a style that fits your face shape. It's an extra $30 for the polarized Ray Bans and it's worth it, these lenses cut the glare better, which is essential for driving. This store doesn't have as varied of a selection as other sunglass hut (i.e. Vegas, Concord) but they do carry D&G, Prada, Maui Jim and Oakley. The clearance prices are not so cheap considering your shopping at an outlet but the customer service is nice. read more

Exceptionally good (or exceptionally bad) service is usually the only reason I would review a chain-store business that is essentially the same from one branch to another. Unfortunately, the problem with stores like these is that turnover tends to be high, so this positive review highlighting great service may in a few months become merely an outdated memorial to great service. I'm not a brand name person, especially when it comes to sunglasses, which I inevitably lose, accidentally drop in a public toilet while hanging out at Japantown, or sit on. So I went into this little "outlet" version of Sunglass Hut intending to buy a cheap pair of UV-ray blockers, only to find myself being quickly drawn in by the competent salesperson. She was quiet, knowledgeable, and intent on making a sale without being pushy about it. Instead of being aggressive, she made the sale by recognizing quickly what sort of sunglasses I wanted, almost before I even realized it myself. Having worked in retail and having been a very good salesperson myself, I have a huge soft spot for a competent sellers because I know that I'll be getting the best information and the most effort from them. So even though I quickly spotted this woman's subtle attempts at upselling, I was so approving of her technique that I relented and spent a bit more than I had originally intended. If I remembered her name I'd put it right here. Anyway, let's just hope this pair of shades stays with me longer than my last two or three pairs did! I only have one pair of sunglasses and they're cute but flimsy. A motorcycle helmet landing on it before didn't help either, so now I keep on having to fiddle with it because it's a little crooked when I wear it. On top of that, I left them at home. While driving my eyes were killing me. With another hour+ to go on my drive, I stopped by the Sunglass Hut store as part of a pit-stop at the Vacaville Premium Outlets. I still have no idea why mandarin was blaring from the loudspeaker either on top of the building or from one of the stores next door. This outlet store was very small and the signs posted against the window glass boasted a sale. Inside was a selection of Coach, Gucci, Oakley, Police, Ray Ban, and some others. I found it frustrating that the items on sale were completely separated from the rest of the selection so I couldn't identify them by brand. Then it seemed for every sales pair I picked up and looked at the tag for, it was on sale because there were defects. On top of that, most of the items that were not on sale appeared to be locked up behind glass, making it difficult to try on things with only one sales rep and multiple people in the store. Then there was the poor store lighting. It's really hard to see how you look in sunglasses when it becomes too dark to see yourself well in a mirror once you try them on. I ended up picking up a sturdy pair of berry-colored Oakley Dart sunglasses. Not on sale. True test? Coming home and searching for the same pair on Google. Price paid? Exactly the same as Oakley's own website. One good thing? 90-day return policy. So if you get home, ask your friends for their opinion, and they don't like it? You can return it. My husband has been wanting a new pair of sunglasses after his Oakley's that he's had for 5 years finally gave out on him. Upon entering we were greeted by Amanda and Brian. They were very helpful, knowledgeable and very patient. Not once did they push the us to buy anything. I too ended up buying a pair (a deal came up I couldn't refuse). Even after I came back the third time (I'm a very indecisive shopper and no one ever likes to shop with me, lol) they were still very patient and willing to assist me in our returns and exchanges. Came here on 01/06/14 in the evening and was greeted by Valerie. She was so sweet and lovely. Also very patient and helpful in helping me choose different styles of sunglasses for face shape, shade, color, and pricing. SGH was having their BOGO sale and I just couldn't resist! Two for the price of one! Who doesn't love sales?! After spending a good hour in the store, I was the only customer left before closing. Valerie provided me with options I could easily choose from. However, when it came time to choose, I couldn't because I loved all the sunglasses! She eventually helped me choose which two seemed best fitting on me and thankgoodness they were part of the BOGO sale! I ended up saving ~$150! Great customer service, great products. My experience here was wonderful as I felt comfortable shopping around and truly taking my time to see if I was really satisfied with the product before purchase. BEWARE!!! I called today in regards to a pair of coach sun glasses that I purchased just days prior at another store that were damaged. Morgan C picked up the phone and was beyond rude, and wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise as to what was going on. She kept telling me well i don't see a coach purchase in the system and when i tried to explain that i had bought 2 other pairs along with this she refused to hear me and She kept talking over me, I'd try to say something and she'd only speak louder over me. I myself work in the optical profession and happened to have bought these particular glasses in down town Disney but was told if there were any issues at all i could go to any sun glass hut. Well as Morgan proved today I can't go to any other store because this associate was the most rude person I've ever dealt with in a professional setting. I've hit up many of the SGH retail chains in the Bay Area, but this store beats them all! I go there for- 1) SELECTION - They have the best selection of clearance glasses! And, they recently started carrying Armani Exchange! I walked out with a pair for only $27. 2) STAFF - Of all the stores there's only one employee that knows what he's talking about. Born bridge-less (and I'm talking about my nose) with high cheekbones, it's been a challenge to find a good pair of sunglasses that feel nonexistent on my face that give me that celebrity look- ha! I was sold a pair of sunglasses there that had a scratch I never noticed. The two who sold it to me didn't do a walk through when it was sold like most reps do here. I should've been asked to check for wear and tear. I tried returning this at another location close to home and was denied because of this so called scratch? I think what troubles me even more, is that you don't get is any information about technical comparatives, so bring a friend that you trust, and aim purely style. Assume the glasses are ok. Not only was this location over priced, they had horrible customer service. I went in to buy a specific pair of raybans, not noticing them on the shelf, he said they were out of them. I then found then them myself. My 3 friends came in, and shortly after 2 security guards showed up. The entire time getting rung up they were watching my friends thinking they were stealing. I asked to have them adjusted to fit me better and they said they were too busy and to come back and they'll do it then. I spent $250 and to be denied a service which is freely offered, and is a necessity for a new pair of glasses, just really upset me. Horrible customer service, and bias judgment of customers! I have a pair of Oakley sunglasses with wire frames. The lenses are scratched and unfortunately the glasses were discontinued. I was able to purchase replacement lenses third party but was having difficulty finding a place to change them out. I called and the assistant manager said she could help me out. My glasses are like new again!!!! Thank you so much for the great service, I am able keep my favorites glasses for a while longer. Nose pad on my prada fell off while I was in tahoe for the weekend and took it into the store see if they can repair it not only the sales person at the time found a matching pair he took time to put it on for mr as well as tighten all other screws on my sun glasses. Just left the store and am livid at their "customer service". I WAS planning on purchasing two pairs of Ray bans, but after I asked the employee if she knew if seasonal employees could receive the employer discount, her face dropped real quick and instantly went from looking like the happy grandma next door to the wicked witch of the west. I felt like she was burning holes in my face for not telling her in the beginning that I worked there; like she wasted her customer service on me or something. Called Treehut to see if I could purchase replacement lenses and started a 5 or 6 email where they attempted to determine the warranty. End result: I threw them away, canceled purchase of several more for this christmas and do not recommend these cheap yet pricey Chinese sunglasses. I have bought numerous pairs of Ray Bans at the SGH in Gaffney, SC. So far, everything was fine. UNTIL.......I had a scratch on a lens of the pair that my husband bought as a BD gift this past March. SGH said they would give me 50% off toward a new pair.. So, I bought a new pair of Ray Bans (polarized) and the girl said they should always be cleaned with only the SGH cleaner, or they would not clean properly. I put them on, walked through the shopping center for 20 minutes, and noticed they were very hard to see through (smears). Went back into the store, asked about an exchange for a "non polarized" pair, the kid at the counter called a "manager" who said "no," could not exchange. WHAT? I WILL NEVER buy at ANY SGH ANYWHERE again. And, I plan to contact Ray Ban and tell them this story as well. What the girl did not know, is, there was another pair on the 50% rack I would have bought IN ADDITION to the replaced Ray Bans had I been treated fairly........ THEY SUCK, end of story. read more
