My husband ordered a phone online from Cricket the 11th of Feb. He gave it to me on the 14th. when opening it we realized he thought he ordered a different phone. I called the Vacaville store that evening. A woman answered. I asked if we could upgrade the phone that we purchased online. She asked if it was open, used(it wasnt. never even taken out of the box.)She told me Yes, the ordered online phone could be brought in and we'd pay the difference. I came in the 15th about 1030am. A young man was setting up a table outside. He put in my info and told me that there's no record of the phone. I showed him the order #, email and that the woman I talked to the night before said it could be.He told me I was given the wrong info. All phones bought online needed to be returned online and you only have 7 days to do so. I noticed a flyer on the register that said free doughnuts on the 15th. None were out. Nor, was he friendly enough to ask. Frustrated I left, went into my car, called to return the phone. Returned the phone to UPS on the 16th. Feb 17th my husband called cricket to verify they had Apple 16 pro max in stock. They did only in the color of black. We drove down there. The same young man was working. My husband said we called a bit ago to see if the iphone was in stock. wed like to purchase one. The associate said "Do you know our pricing" I assumed he was seeing if we already were customers. I was just in two days before so, he should have recalled my attempt of return. He then said they start at $1600.(online starts $1200.) Husband said $400 more for in the store? He said we are a franchise so different prices.My husband asked why didn't you say that on the phone. He responded with you did not ask. We saw the prices online. Would never think it you went in a store they'd be $400 more. In both visits to this store the employee was not knowledgeable, was not empathetic to the wrong information. Was not approachable. Never apologize, he could really careless if any sales were made. I would not recommend this store. Wasted two trips. We have been cricket customers for over 10 years, hopefully this can be used as a training activity to be more knowledgeable of store returns, sales and how to treat customers. read more

On Jan 18th I went into the store on Alamo Dr. to pay my bill. I spoke with Brian (sp?} and told him I wanted to upgrade my phone to unlimited. He helped me, charged me $69 plus $1 for something, so I paid it. Before I left I asked him I was all set and would pay the $80 next month. He said yes. Two days later on Jan 20th, I got a text from Cricket telling me I had to pay $11 by midnight or my service would be cutoff. I went back to the store to get this issue resolved, this time I spoke with Natalie, told her what happened and I wanted to pay the additional fees. She got on the computer and sat there not saying a word. After waiting 10 minutes I asked her if everything was all right, she said she was on the phone with Customer Service and had 4 more minutes of wait time. Another 15 minutes went by without a single word coming out of her mouth, I again asked if everything was ok. She said I would owe the $11 plus and additional $4 for processing fees. I said no, this was your mistake and the four dollars should be paid by the store, this was not my mistake but theirs. She told me because I was paying in person I had to pay, At that time I blew up, that girl was rude, and her customer service skills were horrible. Someone needs to have a long talk with this person and tell her how to treat customers. And while we're on the subject, I think it's just terrible to charge customers a ridiculous fee just because they pay in person. Some of us are old school and like to go in and pay in person. I would give this store a half a star if I could read more

I was given misleading info on the plan ending up paying $60 for a case and screen protector because of this! Later on found it was the store manager. One employee lied to me saying the manager wasn't there when she was next to him!!! And I came to know because she stepped up and stated she was the manager and when tried to ask the guy why he would lied in such a way he ignored me after several attempts to get an answer!!! Zubair, the store manager worked with me. Incredible customer service. I have been a Cricket wireless user for a few years now and I have been convinced that if you are a normal smartphone user and are not using Cricket then you are just throwing more money away than you need to. where else will you go to buy a smartphone (moto e5 cruise) add a new line and come out spending less money per month and be getting even more. (unlimited data on 4 lines $100/month)...AND in the process of getting it all set up, Zubair flawlessly put my screen protector on which is something I hate because I always screw it up and get bubbles or dust in it. On top of that he stayed past closing to get it all done and seemed genuinely happy to do so. His customer service skills are actually inspirational, no lie. read more

I'm editing this review to correct the location only. The cricket wireless that I am speaking of is the one located in Vacaville on Alamo drive. Where do I begin? How about, if I could give this location a no star rating, I would! My family recently switched service providers and found ourselves using this location. It all started when one employee Ahmed and the manager Sultan informed my daughter, who wanted a Iphone to contact them 2 weeks prior to purchase so that they could order it from another store or their warehouse, since they were sold out online, ok... sounds good enough right? Wrong! Two weeks prior we called the store and Ahmed answered, I shared that we were ready for him to order the phone and we would be by in 2 weeks, putting us right against Black Friday. He said "no problem" and off we went. As promised that Saturday, after Black Friday we stopped in the store and were met by both Ahmed and Sultan, who shared that they did not order the phone because it is cheaper for us to go over to Best Buy and make the purchase saving us $50 from their intended cost. Even throwing in that someone had just left their store, with an I phone 5 purchased from Best Buy that is non-contract and had turned it on. Wow right? Customer service isn't dead, they are trying to save us money. Wrong again! We leave the store and head straight to Best Buy, upon our arrival the store associate informs us that they do not sell the Iphone 5 and that the phone is no longer in circulation at the store, we could purchase it online and for a price tag that was hundreds of dollars more than the $150 that both Ahmed and Sultan shared they were selling it for. At this point we go home completely bewildered as to why Cricket staff, including a manager would give us such misleading information. We turn to Ebay, making the purchase for the phone and all is well, until...... We take the phone into the Cricket store, where we are greeted by Sultan, the manager. We share with him that Best Buy has never offered Iphones for $150 and that they do not even sell them in the store, hoping that he may come clean with the obvious misinformation that he is sharing with customers, not to mention the wild goose chases he sends you on; unfortunately we got nothing. Moving on, we now turn to him to turn on the phone and are excited that we are within the current promotion of receiving the Cricket $100 gift card. He confirms that yes we will get the card and that it can only be redeemed through Cricket, which is no problem. He proceeds to activate the phone and soon discovers that the phone will need another phone number, and we can not port as we had done with the other 3 phones on our line. Why?? Because when we had come to change over the other lines, we were again given the wrong information, being told by Ahmed to turn off the phones and activate with them. Although, they knew that my daughter still required the phone that originally they were ordering to turn on. We are now not eligible for porting her number and therefore are not eligible for promotions. I ask Sultan at that point, can he at least offer us a discount on phone activation, since we were given the wrong information, causing us to miss out now on the promotion on top of not having the phone ordered, to which he replies "no". Growing even further upset, I ask if he can perhaps ask his boss or Cricket themselves, he tells me "no" that I can call Cricket myself if I want to ask for the discount, I do. I share with the rep the entire ordeal and he asks to speak with Sultan, who at that point refuses to get on the phone. Cricket wireless rep calls the store directly and Sultan hangs up on him. At this point the rep. completely understands my situation and the lack of customer service offered by a manager no less. All in all, I finally receive the activation waiver and vow never to do business at that location-EVER!! Scary, that these types are the one's that get to run operations, how disappointing. read more
