Great late-night tacos! Was craving tacos and found this spot nearby. I thought it was a food truck, but it's actually tucked in the back of a bar (two separate businesses sharing one roof). I ordered three Al Pastor tacos -- they were loaded with meat, had a nice kick of spice, and came with a flavorful salsa. Service was quick, and both the bar and taco staff were super friendly. Mean people and mid food. 1.5 stars. Last night the T'Juana Tacos food truck was at Chuck's Hopshop in Greenwood. I've never had their food and figured I'd give it a try. I ordered 2 birria tacos, 2 chicken tacos, 1 carnitas taco, and a "guacamole rice bowl" (exactly how it was written on the menu) for my wife and I. Immediately upon saying "guacamole rice bowl" the man taking my order interrupted me and said "yeah... but what protein" very condescendingly. I hesitated and said "well what are the options." Since there was an item on their menu which said "guacamole rice bowl" with no other explanation or listed protein options. He then got very aggressive with me and sort of yelled "I don't just sell guacamole on rice. So tell me what you want." I pointed out their menu has an option called "guacamole rice bowl" and he got even more mad and told me to read the menu again (insinuating I can't read). I kind of pumped my hand down because I felt like it was becoming a scene and he sort of relaxed for a second and I said "birria", hoping that was an answer that would come him down. He rang me up for $55 without tip. I walked away confused. My brother-in-law saw the whole thing and agreed that this guy was way out of line and a real jerk. My BOL did mention that the guy said to him that they got new menus and people have been confused. Still no reason to take it out on a customer. It also sounded like the man who I interacted with was the owner. Very unprofessional. I would give the food 3 stars. I'm subtracting 1.5 stars for the jerk I interacted with. read more

We hit this truck on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Needless to say they were very busy, they actually had to close up early because they ran out of food. We were hoping to satisfy our Birria craving so we ordered some queso tacos "Birria style". The meat itself was very good but the shells weren't what we were accustomed to with a Birria experience. There wasn't any heat either which might be by design so the customer has more control, but I was expecting at least a little kick. Unfortunately I ate these tacos too fast for a picture. I had the birria tacos with a side of beans and rice. The tacos were great in my opinion. The rice was a bit dry and the beans were fine. I got my dinner out of their truck tonight as they were in my neighborhood, but I've made sure to follow them on social media so I know when they come back. I highly recommend this place/truck, the staff was nice, my food was ready pretty quickly and even though I walked a couple of blocks in the cold and rain, my tacos were in really good shape when I finally got home and ate them. I've eaten at both the restaurant inside Nacho Borrado as well as the food truck and I will be sticking to only the restaurant location from now on. Inside Nacho Borrado: perfect, delicious, amazing. The truck, however, was so incredibly disappointing. I got it while it was at Chuck's Hop Shop and the tacos were so bad compared to the restaurant experience. The tortillas were cold and way too thick and the meat was bland. The worst part though was the birria. The consomme was pure oil with absolutely no flavor. Very limited parking in this area. I was able to watch the man with glasses vape, talk, play on his phone , sit and stretch out the closing time for the next fifteen minutes. The long haired man with him was the work horse, cleaning stacking and moving heavy equipment, unlike my contact. Yes, I was disappointed I didn't get to eat any tacos. Had this gentleman given me any type of apology, I wouldn't be sad about this whole experience. He just looked like a lazy jerk, who didn't want to extend himself. I've had their tacos a few times now and all I can say is wow! Talk about tasty. I've gotten the birria and pork many times and the meat is soooo good. It's very apparent how seriously they take food. You can really taste the care and attention to flavor in every bite.
