Due to my aging family, I decided to remodel my front porch with Handicap access. I went to the LA County Faire looking for companies and found System Pavers. This is my home and I didn't want it to look tacky. I always heard good thing about the company. My Sale Rep was Adam. He was nice, but I had to stress what I wanted and ended up paying an additional amount to get it. My Project Manager was Tony. Again, nice and called every day and came by. Now my worker bee was Orlando and he was fabulous. He did the work and completed the job. When he wasn't there, not happy. As a whole everyone worked together to completed my vision. read more

We just completed our driveway using System Pavers of Santa Ana. The driveway is beautiful and we had a fast and flawless experience from this company. We called for a quote and Max Bethell responded that very day. He was extremely professional and answered all of our questions and offered suggestions which were exactly what we wanted. He did not leave it at that but showed up a number of times to see how the job was progressing. The project took place within 2 weeks of the time we first contracted. The crew, led by the project manager, Joe Garlick, completed the whole job within 3 days. It included taking put the existing driveway and tile approach to the house. Joe was wonderful with his crew and even suggested some adjustments that turned out to make the final project even better for us. Could not have had a better experience and I love the final results! read more

This is our second experience with System Pavers as they did a great job on our driveway 10 years ago so we called them back to replace our cracked concrete pool deck with pavers and also install artificial turf. System Pavers promptly sent Byron Schley, Design Consultant who helped us select the perfect pavers and design for our yard. Byron also helped with the necessary documents for HOA approval. From there Project Manager Ryan Mainwaring took over and did a fantastic job overseeing the entire process from start to finish. Ryan was always a phone call or text away to quickly answer questions and handle some last minute requests we had. We had no idea how big a project it is to demo out a pool deck and replace it with pavers. Once the project started we were greatly relieved that we had chosen a major company like System Paver to handle it all. While you might save some money going with a smaller outfit, we were glad we had the experience of this company on the job. Our project exceeded our expectations for how beautiful it came out. Process was completed in less than the 2 week timeframe they quoted, clean up was excellent and the crew worked ridiculously hard. read more

We just had System Pavers install our patio and we had a very positive experience. We received a quote, checked their record with the Better Business Bureau & Contractors State License Board, then proceeded to contract them for our work. The price was reasonable, the crew that showed up to do our work was prompt, courteous, and completed our patio in 1 day. The workmanship is excellent and most importantly- my wife loves her new patio. We've read many of the negative comments about this company and simply can't reconcile them with our experience which was nothing but positive. We would definitely refer our friends and neighbors to System Pavers. read more

We were given a quote of 3 days to complete the project and to our surprise it was expertly done within 2 days. The quality and workmanship is 2nd to none. No complaints here and would recommend them to anyone. Very clean job. read more

System Pavers did a great job - finished on time, on budget with the lighting and turf looking great. Only one hiccup - they need to be careful around your sprinkling system - they had knocked off the heads of the sprinklers (which I was saving to wash off the SPF Turf once a week - I have dogs and it's best for keeping things fresh). I brought this up and they were apologetic and fixed everything right away, but it originally concerned me if we might have any pipe leaks. It's been several months now and everything is just as great as the day they were done. No leaks and I'm a happy camper. Looking forward to summer on my new patio! read more

Sohrab S. About 8 months ago we installed pavers outside ,covering about 900 square feet. One of the best crew I ever had the pleasure of working with. They came on time everyday and finished the job the way I was promised. Even though system pavers was the most expensive company I chose but after the completion of the job I was very happy. Until two months ago when a section of the pavers where it gets wet from the over spray of the sprinklers started changing color. "How can just pure water make the color of the pavers get so much darker" I called the company almost two months ago and to this day nothing has been done at all. No recommendations ,no plan of any kind. I recommended system pavers to two other friends and I'm glad they didn't sign up with them. I will never work with system pavers or recommend them to anyone. read more

Value vs Cost .... If we went with the lowest "cost" of redoing our old, worn, cracked, concrete drive way, we would now be staring at our new, boring, concrete drive way, which does nothing to add value to the house.......BUT, we are NOT! We asked System Pavers to give us an estimate knowing that their quote would be higher than the boring concrete drive way. But,we wanted to find out how much more it would be, to see if there was any "value" in the difference between the two choices. This is where our sale-rep. Daniel Gradin comes in. He was very professional, proud to be representing the Systems Pavers, and very, very meticulous with his work. His attention to detail about the project and our needs were simply unbelievable! Once he explained to us about the beauty of the product, quality of work, warranty, and peace of mind System Pavers offered to its customers, we saw the "value"and we were sold. So,we said "Let's do it!" And as promised, Jim Jackson, our Project Manager and his crew came out, on schedule, and began showing off their skills. It is amazing how everything fits together perfectly and beautifully when someone know what they are doing. They were easy to work with, friendly, and kept the work area clean and neat throughout the entire project. Our drive way came out 10X better than what we hoped for, it makes the house look better, it look good with cars parked on it, it looks great without any cars on it........Looking at our new beautiful drive way now, this should have been a no-brainer. Just finished a project at my house by System Pavers. From the initial design by Brian to the Project Management by Estela to the actual work, lead by Foreman Carlos, the job was top notch. Our front courtyard is a System Pavers installation and we're happy with the outcome. :-) Sam was particularly helpful and attentive when we ran into some problems (System Pavers was originally going to replace the front porch as well but too many structural issues prevented that from happening). Sam had the salesperson out right away to adjust the bid and they completed the job in a timely manner. Plus, when we had a problem with a faulty HOA sprinkler a week later, after a bit of nagging, Sam sent a crew to repair the pipe that was broken beneath the new pavers! And, although no one recommended sealing the pavers until well after completion, Sam did follow-up and we had the pavers sealed 6 months later. Everything looks beautiful and we would recommend System Pavers to others. read more

We had a wonderful experience with System Pavers. From the beginning our design consultant / sales person Karrie Nelson had a vision for our project, which was totally spot on to what we were envisioning for our front yard. Karrie spent the morning with us, listening to what we wanted for our yard, showing us different paver types, colors, turf, lighting etc. we chose our materials and within a short time she had pen to paper and had a design sketched and we approved., Karrie was always available when needed and is very knowledgeable in the process of how SP works . She has such a gift of design and we are completely happy with what she designed for us, hopefully you are lucky enough to get her as your designer. Our project manager Adrian and his crew made Karrie's idea come to life. Adrian came by and or touched base with us via phone or text every day, he would immediately take care of any concerns we had, and was very thorough in answering any questions, explaining the process in great detail. He always did what he said he would do. If we didn't like the way something looked he would tell us why it had to be installed the way it was or he would have his crew change it to our liking. I would highly recommend System Pavers. read more

I was tired of looking at our old driveway and having to walk on wet grass, or more lately dirt, when I park 3 cars. We wanted to take out a small patch of grass on one side and expand the width of the driveway by shrinking the larger grass area on the other side. I also wanted to give shape to the walkway up to the front doors and build up a little elevation to make it easier to work the flower beds. I first called System Pavers after finding an add in the paper. I called and made an appointment with the Sales/Designer Jeff Ladner. We made an appointment for him to come out and he was on time. Before his appointment I also called another paver. They came out the same day and gave me quote for a limited scope of work. With my competitive quote in hand I met with Jeff and went over all that I wanted to have done. He spent about an hour measuring every detail. He had some good suggestions and he worked up a quote on the spot. I was not surprised it was more than the first but we worked out a price I was happy with and went forward. It took months for my HOA to approve the project after first rejecting it. Jeff and SP hung in there with me the whole time. Jeff had to redraw our project several times to incorporate the demands of my HOA. Then I took a 3 week vacation, but when we got the final OK from the HOA we started the project right away. Sean came out to re-inspect the job before we started to be sure they were prepared. The installation team was great. Anything I asked them to do, they did without question. Same with Sean. Jeff checked in regularly. At one point I saw that they had added a drain by the side of the house. They said they noticed discoloration from water settling there. They just did it, no request for more money, done. They carefully sloped the stones into the drain. Perfect. They moved sprinklers where I wanted them. Moved some heavy planters off the porch and back again. No complaints. My wife and I marked a dozen stones that we wanted replace due to color to keep it more random. Done. I gave only 4 stars because of timing. We started on Friday with no work over the weekend. Then were mostly finished the next Friday but the front porch was just sand. Then again, no work over the weekend. But it looked great on Monday. RickD read more

System Pavers did an outstanding job on our backyard! From design to implementation they were professional, friendly, accommodating, and highly responsive. Mike Virgallito worked meticulously with us to create a design and plan that fit our needs and met our budget. He went above and beyond to ensure that the final layout was exactly what we wanted and even gave of his own time to create a special stone honoring our beloved dog who passed last year. Mike was an absolute pleasure to work with on every aspect of the project. Dan Burnham, the project manager, and his crew were amazing! They were timely and professional in their work from demo to finish and everything they did turned out beautifully. Dan was great to work with and maintained a friendly, fun and professional attitude throughout the project. I can't say enough about Dan and Mike and the job they did for us. Best decision ever! We are so happy with our new outdoor living space. System Pavers was an absolute pleasure to work with. Our designer and sales rep, Scot Birrell was amazing. He was as excited about the project as we were. The passion for what he does is definitely evident. They have a great sales process and they delivered on their promises. The project was very quick for the amount of work done. Our Project Manager, Edward Campbell made himself available when we needed him and helped ensure our vision was executed to plan. System Pavers was able to do everything we needed (excavated tree roots, installed tree root barrier, extra foundation for our future spa and a beautiful new courtyard). They do the job right and have an excellent warranty program. There are so many extra conveniences to having pavers as opposed to our mix matched landscaping/hardscaping before. We are getting so much more use/functionality out of the new space. and its so easier to maintain. Thanks to Scot, Edward and the entire crew. We couldn't be happier. read more

I had asked them to give an estimate for the backyard and front yard work. They are super expensive, there estimate for putting just the pavers was coming out at $40/sq. feet with nothing extra ordinary design and with their standard pavers. And the actual sample provided for the pavers looks ordinary, I would say such pavers would be available from Home depot between $2-$3/sq. ft. We finally receive the quote. But unfortunately I'm still not willing to sign on the dotted line.

This is not for the company, but for the salesman Anthony Sheehan. He does not do a good job telling customers of options. He's a fast talker and doesn't listen to the customer. He forgets to add things to the quote and then tries to act as if the customer never mentioned it. Even when it is a text telling him he forgot things. He was horrible. I had asked for a contrasting border and he ordered material that was the same color as the pavers. Then blamed me for the wrong material. This held our job up as I had to run around to brick yards and find the correct material. He measured our job completely wrong and then blamed my husband for holding the measuring tape. When I called him and asked him about the border and he had measured wrong -- never raising my voice -- he got so frustrated he hung up. Our job turned out great because of the project manager. I told the project manager Anthony was not allowed to come to our house. Use the company but make sure you get a different salesman. He needs to be re-trained. read more

The hard scape in my front yard was cracking and coming apart. It was becoming dangerous to walk on the steps because the brickwork was loose. I decided that I wanted a change from 'standard masonry' and looked at Pavers. I contacted System Pavers and a sales representative came out to evaluate my front yard. He listened to my needs and made several suggestions. He returned in about a week with a design, and presented an initial price. I contacted other firms that install Pavers. They provided good designs and pricing. Their designs were not as detailed as System Pavers, and their schedule of material was ambiguous. I felt that System Pavers had a larger selection of materials, and that their overall design was better. I negotiated a competitive price with System Pavers, and we set the time frame for the work. I emphasized that I must be able to communicate with the construction crew in English. I was assured that this request is not a problem. The job started on time, and the Project Manager was present almost every day to oversee the work. The Salesperson also made regular visits to the job. The construction exceeded my expectations, and the embedded lighting really makes the steps and walkway very attractive. I have noticed several people stop and look at my front yard, both during the day and at night. I am waiting for my trees to have foliage and flowers. I expect the lighting will accentuate the canopy. I would recommend System Pavers. read more

We used System Pavers for our huge backyard in Chino California. Adrian was our project manager. I'm very pleased with the whole project. It's amazing how beautiful it turned out. In all means, they were ready to work with us to meet our expectation. We have lighting also installed along the pavers and with some spot lights. It's a picture perfect . The c rew that came to work on our project were awesome, hats off to them working in extreme heat to meet our 1 week deadline. I have nothing negative to say about this company and as everyone loves the warranty, so do we... Strongly recommend . It did not take more than two days for our neighbor to have his backyard done with System Pavers. James was our initial consultant . He was excellent in drawing up our dream backyard. He was able to come up with the same plan we had in our mind and some more. The whole project got completed in 10 days as promised. The office staff should not be forgotten. They were very helpful in getting the financing coordinated to our expectation. Strongly recommended company!!!!!!!! read more

My wife and I decided earlier this year that we wanted to change our driveway and walkway/front porch to pavers. In addition, because of the drought and the constant watering, maintenance and expense of keeping the grass, we also wanted to change to artificial turf. We talked to several different contractors, turf companies and paver companies and we ended up going with System Pavers. We're so glad we did! James, our salesman, set up an appointment right away and gave us a full presentation from a project's start to finish. James was professional and went through all the advantages of going with System Pavers. We chose them because of their experience, value and warranty. They made it easy because they handle both the pavers and the artificial turf, one stop shopping. The warranty includes a 25 year warranty on the pavers and a 10 year warranty on the artificial turf, This warranty is longer than other companies we researched. Our driveway, walkway and artificial turf project was a big job and before the crew started, the project manager, Wade Capps met with us to review the process, and the design we chose. Wade is very knowledgeable and walked us through the entire process so we would know what to expect. The demo and installation crew did a great job. Miguel was always accommodating and professional. If we asked to make minor changes, he would always be willing to do anything to make us happy. Satisfaction guaranteed is taken seriously throughout the company. As the project progressed, Wade would stay in touch by texting and email. Wade would accommodate my schedule by meeting me early in the morning before I would leave to work so that we could review the crew's progress and cover any concerns I had. No matter what time of day or night, including weekends, Wade was always quick to respond. Even Wade's boss, Leno took an interest in our project and followed up with me personally to make sure I was satisfied. We had the pavers sealed after they completed the installation in order to protect our investment. We are so glad we went with System Pavers. As with any project of this size, there are always issues, however any problems or concerns we had were always addressed to our satisfaction. It seemed that they went out of their way to make sure we were happy. The project came out beautiful and we are very satisfied with the workmanship. We receive comments from our neighbors and friends of how great the pavers look. read more

My husband and I were very pleased when we used them years ago for our front yard and drive, so you can imagine my shock when we had a not so great experience again. We went through the whole process of mapping out design, paying for drawing to pull a permit, signing a contract, applied for a credit card to finance the whole project, only to find out the day they were coming to plot out plans in my yard that it was $10,000 more than quoted. Very unprofessional and only go an Oops. read more

We had pavers installed in our patio but did not have them sealed initially. I called various companies to get quotes. System Pavers were fast to respond. Their price was a little more but they were available to do it quickly so I decided to go with them. Unfortunately, things didn't quite turn out as I hoped. It was difficult to schedule the job because ours was not a full scope install. Ultimately, they opted to do the job while I was not home so I could not see how it was being done or give any feedback. I had only a few days notice. When I got home however, I was disappointed. The joints between the pavers did not appear to be filled in and most of the pavers had a sharp lip edge showing the straight edge before the paver's curved beveled top. We had expected the joints to be smooth between the beveled edges. Our saleperson Shawn was very kind and walked the site with me. He tried to get the job done to our satisfaction but the company states this is to their standard and they would not fill joints more than they did. In their opinion it was done correctly although I can't imagine them being happy with this if it was their yard. The sample section that the installers did had so much more sand and looked fantastic. And despite System Pavers stating that it would not hold up, those sections done previously have not eroded despite being there for 3 years (2 sections under the gutter drain outlet and the faucet). I suppose that is because System Pavers does not use a lot of sealant so they cannot seal a joint with more sand? We are very disappointed how this turned out. Now not only do we have to pay for the job, we would have to spend extra money to get it done the way we wanted. If you use them, I would advise that you are present while the work is being done to make sure it is done to your satisfaction. read more

They sent a sales person out who tried to tell me I needed some extra work that I didn't. It was the hard sell, and the prices they mentioned were much higher than they should have been. We contacted System Pavers for a small paver job, along with a complete removal/replacement with artificial turf for our front yard. The bid was more than double other bids we received. There was no breakdown of the bid between the 2 jobs. When I asked for a copy of the bid, the consultant refused, telling me that I had to sign the contract to get the bid. Yet he asked me to see the other bids, but I refused to do that. Then, the phone calls started between the consultant and supposedly one of the owners, to see if they could get the price down. The approach was like it used to be when buying a car. Finally, they determined a final price, but it was still well above other bids. Just like some of the other reviews, the consultant stressed their warranty, etc. But why would anyone go with a company that uses a demeaning and insulting sales approach? Certainly not us! read more

System Pavers replaced my old, ugly, backyard grass with artificial turf. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Everyone was pleasant, organized and professional. I want to especially commend the work crew. They were also very pleasant, respectful and professional. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because their standard prices are pretty high. But if you take advantage of their discounts and special offers, you can get the price down some. I am very pleased with the job thus far. read more

The people from System Pavers were great. I got a call back from my initial inquiry within 2 days, and within a 2 days after that, they were at my house to provide a quote. Allen Croissant, the Design Consultant, was professional and knowledgable, and he didn't try to sell me more than I asked for. He worked within my budget to provide the design I wanted. Ellie Kurtz, the Construction Coordinator, was also very professional and had me set up for installation within a week. Al Preciado, the Project Manager, was fantastic. When they arrived on the first day and we started to look at the design, I decided I wanted something slightly different. He was very patient with me as we redesigned the layout, and he bent over backwards to ensure the additional cost was minimal. The crew were great. They finished the job in 2 days, they were very professional the entire time, they were respectful of my neighbors and my property, and they did an amazing job of clean up when they were done.
