We chose System Pavers over many other contractors after we read many of their reviews before making a decision on going with them. They were very professional from start to finish and we are very happy with the finished product. We can now enjoy having family over without hiding our previous disaster for a backyard It's so beautiful now it's not a big yard but a very private one that we love so much now. Thank you System Pavers for our new addition. I also want to thank Ryan Mainwaring our project manager his overwhelming professionalism throughout the whole project impressed both. With Ryan's presence at our project was always a pleasure to connect with he was always easy to contact as he always contacted me when he was on other jobs making sure we were all on the same page. I hope Ryan has a bright future wherever it leads him I give him personally a 5 Star rating and Big Thumbs Thank you System Pavers for a job well done John and Linda Magarro. read more

The Sales guy "under-estimated" my job and the day before starting my job he called asking for money or they would cancel the job. I told him no the contract is set and that's all I am willing to pay, and he needs to figure it out on their end. I get a call the next morning from a accounting girl asking me to verify my cc info to refund my deposit because my job has been canceled. Not even a call from the sales guy, or a manager to try and work out an agreement. 12,000 job canceled and left two messages for the "sales manager" to call me back an NO RESPONSE. I had bought my house in 2005, and have long since wanted better access from the front door to the driveway/front of the street and a new driveway. I had delayed the work, thinking it would be something I would eventually get to, but it remained unchecked until just recently. Having seen a System Pavers booth at Fleet Week in San Francisco, I moved forward with the quote process and went under contract to widen the walkway to my front door. But after the work started, it became evident to me I wanted to do more. So I ended up completing the entire wish list, including the driveway. The result is a beautiful driveway, with easy accessibility to the side yard, front door, and a new porch area. Phenomenal work. Dan was the perfect project manager for me, and catered to my every need. And John made the quote process very easy. Thank you System Pavers! read more

System Pavers does beautiful work! I've used them for 3 jobs and each time they knock it out of the park. Taylor Storm has been my sales rep for the last 2. He's very patient and flexible. I don't often know exactly how I want to do something but he takes his time, listens, and gives me exactly what I'm looking for. Once the job starts, they are on top of it! They're guys are professional and they work hard to finish on time. I also like the quality work and the warranty! It really shows that they stand by their product. The pavers are beautiful and this time I got turf grass. No maintenance! I get so many compliments on my backyard. No company is perfect. If there was a minor issue with something, they've been very responsive and they resolve it quickly. Thank you System Pavers! I'm a happy customer once again . read more

Don't do business with this company unless you are comfortable paying substantially more than the agreed contract price. The final work itself was satisfactory and the project manager was great but when the original work was almost completed everyone acknowledged the design (developed entirely by System Pavers) was faulty and wouldn't work on our side slope. Instead of fixing the problem like any reputable company, they told me I had to pay thousands more for additional materials and labor to have an acceptable project. And the designer (Andy Larson) who sold us the project and said he would be right with us every step of the way took his commission and disappeared. We never saw him after he got our signature on what was the most one-sided contract you'll ever see and gives absolutely no rights or protection to the homeowner. I was even told I wouldn't have a warranty unless I signed a certificate that the project was satisfactorily completed. Beware and avoid--there are lots of other options out there. read more

We made an appt for someone to come out while at a home show. Had a representative over to our house 6/9/16. We went over what we were looking for and gave him a 'to scale' drawing as well. Having lived in the same home for over thirty-five years we decided to redo our two side yards. You have lots of choices when you decide to take on such a project. The first of course, is who will do the work. There are lots of companies that can install paver stones and artificial turf, but one name kept coming up with the all-important service after completion of the project. That name was SYSTEM PAVERS. Right from the start Andrew explained our options in terms we could easily understand and with a welcomed patience when it came to our numerous questions. Our project manager Lucas followed suit and took care of all the little details before, during, and after the project. The hardworking work crew itself was fantastic and thoroughly cleaned up each day, making us wonder if they had been there at all. In the end we replaced a small deck with paver stones while keeping our existing grape arbor and we had artificial turf installed in an area we use to call the dog yard. In the latter we also installed a climbing dome much to the delight of our two granddaughters. Thanks to all for a job well done! read more

My brother Nauder is known to be an educated and careful shopper. You want a deal and you go to Nauder so when we had some pipe issues in his Anahiem Hills home that was causing the wall between them and their neighbors to dangerously tilt & cracking the driveway , he called Jeff Ladner at SystemPavers for a bid.. Long story short , Ryan M ( System Pavers 15 year veteran project manager ) jumped in and within 8 short days ,not only they installed beautiful pavers, they also built a gorgeous wall AND replace all the drain pipes . Attention to details is AMAZING . Jeff and Ryan blew away my super picky brother. read more

I absolutely love the look of my driveway area thanks to the very talented folks at System Pavers! The crew finished the whole project in three long days so everything would be done before the rains. They were professional and I loved the teamwork they showed as they started laying the pavers. The crew did an excellent job cleaning up each day and taking care not to damage any of my landscaping. I highly recommend System Pavers if you want a beautiful new look to your home!! You are in for a complete and total transformation! System Pavers scrapped and recreated my patio well beyond expectation. It is a bit of a process and more than a few folks are involved, but they walk you through each step of the way and once it comes together you will not be disappointed! Jeff Ladner (cell 714-975-3422) was my sales rep/consultant. He was very knowledgeable of the product and as a former contractor, he knew some extra tidbits that helped ensure I'd be happy with the result and was able to help me save some money. The thing I like about Jeff was that he was not pushy at all. My Crew Manager was Juan Garcia (cell 949-230-8739) who made sure the work got done correctly and made sure I was happy throughout the construction. Juan and his crew were AMAZING! He was very communicative and made himself available 24/7 and since I work during the days, I needed that. Once they began laying the pavers, it went QUICK! Within 2-3 days I had a brand new space that truly was a transformation! I spent a little more then I wanted, but to get that 25-year warrantee is great peace of mind and if I ever decide to sell will be a good selling point not to mention how the pavers added to the equity in my house! THANK YOU System Pavers! I whole-heartedly recommend them! Tell them Josh H from Mission Viejo referred you! read more

We were so happy with the quality of their work that we invited them to give us an estimate on your front yard, which we proceeded to complete in 2016, again with Karrie's suggestions. We hired System Pavers for our driveway/walkway and couldn't be happier with the results. Anthony and Andres were very easy to contact and quick to respond to any questions and work through all of our concerns with us. Fernando and his team were at work very early and worked hard the entire time. They take the job seriously and you can tell they actually care about their craftsmanship. We had just laid new sod prior to their job and they took great care to preserve and clean up every day. I've seen so many contractors who just make a mess and don't really care how much they brake in the process but not System Pavers. They were so professional, we highly recommend them and would hire them again ourselves! read more

System Pavers is a great company to work with. We had requested a quote on line and within 5 minutes we received a phone call. We scheduled an appointment with Jeff Laack. He was very helpful and had a lot of information. He helped us decide on the pavers that would work best for us. Jeff worked closely with the foreman, Adrian Munoz. Adrian was very attentive and wanted to make sure that we were happy with every step of the process. Both Jeff and Adrian answered all our texts very quickly. They also coordinated well with the pool company that was installing our new pool. In the end we are very happy with our new pavers, our back yard is a show place sanctuary. read more

We are extremely happy with System Pavers and the end result of our backyard transformation. We started with old, cracked concrete and dreary, dying grass, and System Pavers worked their magic with beautiful, custom pavers, and dog-proof turf. We love the overall new look and the company has been excellent to deal with from start to finish. We worked with Byron, the sales rep, initially, and Sam, our project manager, once the job started. Sam's foreman, Rigo, did great work as well. Byron, Sam, and Rigo all worked together to keep us informed, the project on track, and to ensure we were completely satisfied with the final product. We LOVE our new backyard! We will absolutely use this company again and hope to hire them in the future for our front yard project. read more

I've had a few different jobs around my house done by System Pavers--both pavers as well as lighting. Here's the deal, they are not cheap. If you are looking for the cheapest price around, they won't be your ideal contractor. I chose to go with them because I have found them to be professional and responsive, and they stand behind their work. This latest project was no exception. I started with Brent Mortensen helping me pick out lighting for the backyard. We got the design locked down but Brent wanted to double check the fixture selection with the designers back at the office. Sure enough, the initial design wasn't optimized for features I wanted to highlight. Brent came back a week later with Alfredo Paez, their main lighting installer. We talked over options again and nailed down a design which we all thought would be much more appropriate. Alfredo came by at the scheduled date and did a superb job on the installation. He started around 8am and we went over the design one more time to ensure we were both on the same page. Alfredo said he thought it was a one day job, which honestly I didn't buy. I figured 1.5 days would be needed to complete the work. I left for work and came home at the end of the day. Alfredo was done before I got back. The lights came on later that evening and looked spectacular. I adjusted the positioning of each light slightly and everything went fine except for one light where I noticed the two-piece housing (built that way to allow bulb replacement) wasn't assembled properly. On the walk through the following day I met with their project manager Dex Cajigal and I showed him the light in question. We also looked at a small section of pavers done two years prior by System Pavers which showed signs of movement. Within two days Alfredo came by, inspected the problem light and determined a new one was needed. It was ordered and will be installed within two weeks. The section with the loose pavers was refinished within one week. This is really where the professionalism comes through. I just had to point out these areas and they were examined and addressed. No hassles, no playing phone tag and no leaving endless messages which never get returned. So again, while they are certainly not cheap, they will stand behind their work and will take care of problems without delay. read more

Hats off to Juan! Thank you ever so much for repairing our entrance pavers after a new double front door installation. The new doors did not butt-up to our pavers that were installed in 2005. We were assured they would come up with something to repaid the holes on each side of the doors but that never happened. After the installation of the doors the contractor stopped by to take pictures and that was it. So here we were with an unfinished look for these beautiful double front doors. We appreciate the fact that you came out when you said you would, knew exactly what to do and that the pavers were perfectly cut thanks to your craftsmanship. Now our doors and pavers compliment each other as intended! You definitely knew what you were doing. Thank You! read more

I have a small back yard but wanted pavers instead of grass, still with a border of shrubbery. They did a great job!

It is not often that I take the time to warn consumers on an experience that has taught me a tremendous lesson on integrity versus fraud. I will allow you to be the judge. My inquiry to System Pavers began early September 2015. By September 21, 2015 after agreeing on terms which included cleaning streak marks made by my son with his car a year prior, power cleaning the pavers for any spots (two small areas had oil stains), removing all old sand and seal. The seal, I was told, should be "enhanced", as the more glazed look would not look normal. Later I realized, it is less work. They never brought out new pavers to place the old stained ones as promised. Instead, they took the pavers along my driveway ! My greatest concern was that anyone arriving at the property had to be bonded. I was assured that all workmen were "employees" of System Pavers. Beware consumer, they are not. All the individuals who arrived were subcontractors. As such, the quality of work can only be reported, without recourse. I was informed that the next week, work would begin. Kevin, system pavers employee (not) would arrive October 7 and would "pressure wash entire driveway and return October 8 to seal it". Prior to that, Mr. J. had stated that a retention beam was broken underneath the driveway and would need replacing. He added another 1,700 to the bill and said that "his men" would be out, prior to October 7th to repair the broken beam. On September 26, I returned home to find three men in my driveway. The older gentlemen informed me they were not employees but contractors. After conversing with them, I was informed that there was never a broken beam but simply the area needed to have sand applied again. They said they would tell Mr. J. and that I should not get charged for it. On September 30th, I received a text from Mr. J, asking for a "yelp" review, "once we are done with the sealer". October 7 - A 7am arrival was missed. I texted Mr. J. at 8:06am... 8:59am I texted Mr. J, asking if "this is considered a "no show" as I had already missed two meetings on my end. 9:00am - Mr. J. responded that he could not get a hold of "Kevin". I ended up cancelling my day at work as Mr. J. had no response as to when his employee would arrive. 11:27am still no show. I asked Mr. J. who had originally stated that the job required 6-8 full hours and that was why the cost was so high (11,000.00) . At 12:01, Mr. J., informs me that Kevin is "23 minutes away". Kevin arrived close to 1pm and was gone by 4pm. A 6-8 hour job done in 3 hours ! Great right ? Except that only half the job was done. Mud left at the bottom of the driveway. Mr. J., came out to inspect the job and agreed that the job, "was a mess", but that he "wanted me to be happy". He had Kevin return, although I had asked that he not send him. Kevin returned and was gone within two hours. The seal job, stained the driveway. The driveway now has areas of spots with deep stains and areas where it appears that the seal did not take. The "enhanced" look is similar to having nothing placed on it. But again, since the subcontractor that was sent out did not spend the requisite time, there are areas that are clearly over-covered and others that are not. Mr. J., came out a third time and this time in the presence of my elder daughter, agreed to have the driveway "fixed to your satisfaction". He stated, "We can get a power wash for you again". Weeks passed and on December 17, 2015 I received a text saying that he, "wanted to come by and wrap up the paperwork. After reminding him that we were still waiting for his promise to fix the driveway, as he had offered, and reminding him that there was no broken beam, he stated he would adjust the quote of the team, (took off 1,000.00) and refused to live up to his word. In January, I finally put an end to the lunacy and paid off the amount due. To all who read this, please consider my experience. I have read that some of you have had a lovely experience. HOwever, mine was strictly one of taking advantage of single female. Last week I received a call from their representative. A nice lady who works from home, and takes care of customer complaints. I appreciate the call, but told her that if the Managers of System Pavers were simply to call me to say they were sorry for my experience, then not to call. I simply wish to have the driveway addressed in the manner that I was promised. I will update this post if System Pavers lives up to their representatives words. For now my friends.. beware of those who offer the best job, for the best price, in an expedient fashion and only send out their employees. Lessons learned: For me... Don't trust System Pavers. read more

About 5 years ago, System Pavers did a beautiful job installing brick-like pavers in my back patio. I was completely happy with the end result . However, within the past year, the pavers began to lift and within a short time, my patio had lifted almost entirely. I called System Pavers and had Alex come out to evaluate the problem. He assured me that they would replace the entire patio at no cost to me. Which they did. I was very happy to hear that, and am satisfied with the results My only complaint was that the crew that did the work (although very polite, on-time and did a good job) did a very poor job of cleaning up after the job was complete. Alex again came out and agreed. A few days later Alex himself (not the crew) was here and spent a great deal of time completely cleaning up the patio, as well as the bushes, plants and furniture that had been over sprayed with cement. The customer service has been outstanding, which I consider just as important as the work and the price. read more

System Pavers recently completed their fourth project at our home, bringing the total paved area to approximately 2500 square feet. Throughout all four projects, System Pavers performance has been outstanding. Initial planning and design were thoughtful and thorough. Materials delivery was perfectly timed. Installation of paving stones was fast and efficient, with meticulous attention to detail plus sheer artistry in fitting difficult areas such as around circular drain covers, oddly-angled boundary junctions, and accommodating the irregular concrete footings of a boundary wall. And, the on-line project management system, with a password-protected user access portal is a model of ease and efficiency. In every phase, doing business with System Pavers has been a pleasure. read more

Totally unbelievable service. We have tried on 2 occasions to get a quote and design concept on our 1/2 acre lot in 2017 and 2018. System Pavers has been unexplainably great. My parents used them when redoing their side yard and driveway. My parents had such a great experience that we used them for our backyard. We recently bought a new build and needed to start from scratch so we eagerly called James Whitcomb. James came in with a happy face and a lot of knowledge. He worked with us to complete our vision. James brought so many samples and ideas to the table that we were easily sold by his expertise and how personable he was. Throughout our vision and install, James was by our side and answered all our calls and questions. Not to mention, we had a lot to deal with for our HOAs. James even took the time to sit with us to discuss with the HOA board to get what we needed to be approved. He made the right corrections and got an installation for us immediately. Our installers were also wonderful and personable. We now have a beautiful backyard with turf, pavers and lighting. Such a great experience with James Whitcomb and we will definitely share the great experience we had with our neighbors. Highly recommend this company! read more

The best company that my husband and I had to deal with for our home improvement needs by far. We had such a terrible front yard, had a family of gophers living and playing there that it destroyed the beauty of our home as well as the neighborhood. Saw System Pavers at the Strawberry Festival in Oxnard and decided to give them a call for a free estimate. Keith Fonseca was sent to us and he displayed the most excellent customer service that any homeowner could ask for. He treated us like family. He never pressured us into anything. He enjoys his job and believes in this company which says a lot to a customer. That initial visit, we spent about almost 3 hours discussing with Keith what we wanted and based on what we could afford, he helped us decide what we really wanted, which was an amazing green lawn, free of gopher holes. Even though it wasn't pavement that we ended up with, we are so satisfied with the outcome and the total experience. Keith kept in touch with us every step of the way, making sure we were satisfied with the service being provided. We meet the project manager for the job Rodger and they even sent another project manager initially due to a little disappoint that we had brought up about letting us know last minute when the final measuring and planning would take place. All in all the project took three days to complete which we were told from the beginning. It's been about a month since our artificial turf was installed; and we recently received a gift from the company that took my husband and myself by surprise. Usually with companies, once they reel you in with their service, you never hear from them again, but this little gift that they sent really touched us. Thank you so much System Pavers! read more

I decided to makeover my patio and wanted something different. The current concrete slab patio, which I purchased through the builder as an upgrade when I purchased my home 12-years ago, had started to slope so bad that I couldn't even sit at my patio table without the feeling of falling backward. I got a flyer in the mail from System Pavers so I decided to call. I had an appointment in a couple of days. My consultant Sergio worked diligently with me to get the most out of my design project. He was very patient with my indecisiveness about what color pavers to use. After the paperwork was signed (and approved by the homeowners association) my work was scheduled. I agreed to a flex start date because I wasn't in any real hurry and I wanted the job done right with their full attention to my project. System Pavers did a great job on my driveway. They started on time and finished on time. During my initial meeting with the designer, the price was prohibitive. Without going through financing, they worked with me on the cost and I didn't have to sacrifice any of my vision of what it would look like. The only complaint, and it's very minor, is that there are too many people involved in the project. It would be great if there was just one contact person to call for everything. But, everyone involved gave me their cell numbers and made themselves available. Overall, I'm very pleased with the outcome and neighbors and friends are impressed. read more
