I brought it in with a few small fresh…read morestains and got it back with the original stains still there, plus new large oily stains from their "cleaning attempts." On top of that, there were obvious new stitches added that hadn't been there before, and they didn't even remotely match the fabric or color of the knit. I also brought in a trench coat, which came back with all the same stains untouched -- honestly, for the best considering what happened to the dress. When I returned to show them the damage, there was no apology, no accountability, and no attempt to offer compensation. I had to request a refund myself. The employee handed it to me and simply walked away without even acknowledging the inconvenience. This place used to be excellent before the ownership change. Now it's an absolute mess. Please do not trust them with valuable clothing, especially anything sentimental like a wedding dress.

I'd definitely recommend this place, it's pretty clean, in a good area, and they have lots of washers and dryers so I've never have to worry about having to wait. Prices start at $5.00 a load for washers and $1 per 20 minutes for the dryers, not exactly the cheapest thing but compared to paying for a laundry service I think it's a great deal. Also rent isn't cheap in Boston so I think the prices are very fair when you take that into account. Quarters only, but there is an ATM and quarter machine inside. I've only seen the quarter machine run out once but someone came in to refill it ~10 minutes after it ran out so not a huge deal. I usually try to bring my own quarters though so that I can guarantee having change without having to wait.

I've been coming her for three years now whenever I'm in Boston because it's so close to my…read moreapartment (four times a year on average). I have never spent so much money in a laundromat, ever. The dryers are awful. Why should thin towels (which I intentionally purchased thin for my apartment because I knew that I would have to dry them at a laundromat, and wanted them to dry quickly) take over one hour? Do you know what that comes out to in this place? I asked the owner about this, and I get no coherent answer. The last time I was there I saw him take dark gray sheets and white sheets and put them in the same washing machine. I'm sorry, but I doubt the customer requested him to mix their sheets. And he stuffed it in the tiniest machine also. Based on the reviews, I'm going to try Nino's next time. I think walking one way and taking an Uber back will still be a lot cheaper than going to this laundromat.
