Swizzlier is a nice, upscale fast food joint in the Navy Yard that serves good burgers and fries. I always get the Classic Double Meal with an order of small fries. The burgers are always tasty and the fries are good and fresh (not always the crispiest). The large fries aren't much bigger than the small order, so you're better off ordering the small. The price at Swizzler are pretty reasonable, the staff is always attentive, and my online orders are always punctual. It's definitely a good place for a quick bite and a good burger. read more

The food here is very, very good! The only critique I have about the restaurant is that the music is way too loud over lunch. You have to basically yell to the other people you are siting with and it feels more like a night club atmosphere than a quick lunch spot. read more

Swizzler crispy chicken was next to our hotel during our stay in Washington DC. We picked up some takeout on our last night there. The staff was extremely hard-working as they were super busy. We ordered a veggie burger and fries overall, I would say the food was just OK. Nothing I would write home about but definitely somewhere I would consider returning if I was in a pinch I needed some food. Be aware that, depending on the day and time of night, it might not be fast food. We waited quite a while. There is some indoor seating options, but overall limited it seems as if most of the people that order food from here take it to go there's a variety of chicken options as well as lemonade and iced tea. My oh my if you love a great deal this place is for you ! We hit luck yesterday when we were on the way to the Nats game. This gem was having all burgers and chicken sandwich was $5.00! What ??? 5 All the Way. We are working through Rob's Cheap Eats video from DC Trip Hacks. Had the Signature Cheeseburger which I didn't know was a delicious double burger. Fabulous fresh cooked fries. Husband is gluten free so ordered a hot dog no bun. This is usually a sad looking entrée but they covered it with arugula, candied jalapeños and it looked amazing. Went to Dc to visit my brother and we came to this place to grab lunch. Nice little spot around the corner from his apartment. We placed our order and got it to go. Good burgers! When you bite into the meat you can tell it's high quality. What I loved most was how nothing was greasy. I might even go so far as to say it tasted "light." The fries were nice and crispy, too. The toppings, however, a pretty limited and I would have welcomed more variety. One quirky thing is that potato and sweet potato fries are both the same price ($4.95), but if you want sweet potato fries with a combo meal there's a 70 cent uncharge. Weird. I am knocking off one star because of the amount of waste generated for dine-in orders. Our order came packed up to-go which I was told was the only way they serve. There's no trays or plates available for dine-in. Everything was presented in disposable containers, fortunately paper not plastic, but all that went right into the garbage when we were done eating which is wasteful. Please give dine-in customers a greener option to enjoy their burgers. Finally, a PSA...DO NOT park in the lot across the street. I have parked there twice and firsthand seen the machine eat someone's credit card and inhibit a long line of cars from leaving. Nobody at the parking company answers the phone on the emergency line. Are at swizzles the other day. Burgers and fries are equivalent to five guys but the price is definitely more budget friendly. I wasn't super hungry so got the single Swizz stack with the flavor bomb. I would say the toppings and bun are a little much for a single stack and would recommend going with a double stack. I wasn't sure if the sauce was to dip the fries or too the burger but they were so many toppings already on the burger that I used the sauce for the fries. It was pretty good as a dip, not entirely sure how to describe the flavor but definitely try it if you go. I got root beer for my drink and it was not the standard barqs or A&w so a welcome change of flavor. Overall if you are looking for a decent burger at a good price I would recommend. read more

This was the fourth stop on a burger crawl. Primrose, The Big Board and Brooklands Finest were the first three stops. This was hands down the best value, but frankly was the best of all 4 places. The machine that puts the "smash" on the burger on the griddle is no joke. This place is not to be missed. read more

Swizzler is now one of my favorite burger places. I've been here maybe 4-5 times so far and each time my food has been delicious and fresh. I love the spuds sauce for my fries. I do wish they had more varieties of burgers, but the ones they do have are very tasty. Also, the people working there are very friendly, like Chick-fila level. read more

I didn't realize that Swizzler had opened in Navy Yard until I saw it in the neighborhood newsletter today. I hopped right on over an hour later and just finished the best burger and Parmesan fries that I've had in a while. Quick summary/ -I got the Swizz Stack burger without pickles. DELICIOUS from start to finish. I don't even eat red meat very often, but this burger was excellent. I liked the use of shallots, too. Note that the burger is a double meat patty and is large enough to not leave you hungry. -Parmesan truffle spudz: Yay! I really love Parmesan fries and they definitely didn't short me on the Parmesan or the seasoning. -Service: I walked in and the place was immaculate. There are social distancing stickers on the floor, and they accept Apple Pay. The cashier was super friendly. -Also: They take down your phone number when you order and text you when your order is almost ready. This is great because I don't like standing around indoors due to COVID, so I walked around the block and my order was ready super fast. I am so happy Swizzler is here! They also have some vegetarian burgers that I'll have to try, along with the sweet potato fries, which I think are really a good measure of a restaurant. Swizzler, welcome to Navy Yard! This place grabbed my attention when I walked by and noticed their cubby holes for online orders. I looked inside and saw it was a burger joint so I went inside for a better look. First off, the guy at the front was helpful and had a talent for customer service. I was getting a later dinner for family and wanted something good and quick and this place really hit the spot. He suggested the Parmesan truffle fries, we got sweet potato fries, and regular fries too. The burgers were really good, and the fries were top notch. I'm familiar with this joint because they're usually at the USDA Farmer's Market. Due to COVID-19, it wasn't open, so imagine my excitement to find the actual store front!! The cherry on top is that the Parmesan Truffle Fries are the best I've had, and the half and half is *chef's kiss! That damn, delicious burger though!!! Seriously worth the indulgence. So happy this place exists. My farmers market buddy is plotting her visit when she returns from the holidays. :) If I had to name a difference in burgers between the farmers market and the store front is the farmers market burgers have the charred, crispy pieces of burger edges...that sh*# is godly. I used to come to the Navy Yard location at least once a week but I will never return. They have a new staff that is absolutely horrible! I placed a specific order and was laughed at for my order and the lady taking the order told the crew on the back about it in a mocking way. Then my drink order was wrong!
