But unfortunately... that's where my love story ends. Because then we get to the part where I order a drink. Yes, I know. I'm complicated. I dare--I DARE--to order from the "secret menu." (Secret meaning: not actually secret, just not on the big board, like it's hiding under witness protection.) And then--brace yourself--I say the word Diet or 44oz. I get it. That's a lot. I've basically asked you to solve a riddle while blindfolded. But listen. I also want understand it's hard to notice when the clear sodas are out. Clear liquid is sneaky like that. HOWEVER, somewhere in the universe, there has to be a system that prevents you from confidently handing me what is essentially a $6 cup of aggressive LaCroix. For the love of Pete, please do not hand me a cup that I swear--on my life--I did not drink a single sip of... only for me to get home, dump in an entire 12 oz can, and watch it fill the cup like it's a perfect fit. A friend of mine was visiting for a few days and mentioned Swig was on her hit list while she was here. I'd never even heard of this place, but apparently it was going viral or something, so you know I had to be nosey and investigate!! Lol I Yelped it and found there was a location near me. I ended up with the Shark Attack (of course!) and some Pretzel Bites with the cheese sauce, which costs $.50 extra. I went to the drive-thru and the service was great. The girl was cheery and helpful. I almost bought their stainless steel version of the Stanley because duhhh, it's blue!! But, I resisted because I'm trying not to be a packrat!! This place is hyped up but I really don't see why... it's basically "dirty soda" which is sodas mixed up together to create new flavors. I guess it's a cool spot for the younger crowds, but this old lady was just "meh" about it. Would I come back? Yes, to try other things on their menu. I may go inside next time since I always feel rushed at the drive-thru, especially when there's people behind me and I don't know what I want! Swig, you aiiiiiight!!! Came back tried this place again, but utilize the drive-through this time. Very quick, very friendly and of course my drink was delicious! They had the drive thru attendant taking orders outside and she was very bubbly and helpful. She recommend a sugar free loop-T loop and it didn't disappoint. read more

I haven't been to one of these soda places since my kids were little. And it looks like I won't be coming back again. I mistakenly assumed (you know what they say...) that a blended drink would be the consistency of a slurpie or a slushie. You know- drinkable. Instead my Diet Coke and cherry was more like some liquid on thick ice. It took only a few seconds to drink the minimal liquid and then you're left with a cup of undrinkable ice. Sure, after a few hours that will melt enough to drink (and will be watered down) but that's not at all what I wanted. Also, my 16 oz drink was a hefty $4.48 so quite expensive for a few sips when I was thirsty. For me, it was a big Swig and a miss. read more

I can't believe this was my first time at Swig after living in AZ for almost 2 years! I always see it all over social media and finally decided to give it a try. The workers were very sweet and helpful with assisting me to creating the perfect drink for me. We got a Strawberry Breeze and a Root Beer with Vanilla syrup (I was craving a root beer float) and these were both so delicious. Since I signed up for rewards points, the offered me a free Strawberry Breeze Cream Pop, which I thought tasted even better than the drink itself! My girlfriend ordered potentially the most extreme drink the staff here will ever make, but they were super chill and accommodating. BUT this specific locations night staff or I'm not sure if it's one staff that works all day and they just get tired not sure but I do know if you order before 4 pm BEST drinks ever anything later than that the frozen drinks are CHUNKY, your lucky if you get what you ask for and heaven forbid you from ordering in DoorDash at night you probably won't even get the right thing (as in you get none of your sides, you drink flavoring is weak, half the time I order the "pearls" I never get them) all in all great company, but I think they need to do some internal rearranging or employing because the night staff is NOT it at this location. read more

But we decided to give the Ray and McQueen location a try today, and wow... that was a mistake I won't be making twice. The moment I walked in, I could tell something was off. The staff there seemed *completely* uninterested in helping anyone. No smiles, no friendly greeting, just blank stares like we'd interrupted something. When I asked a simple question about one of the drink options, I got the most passive-aggressive response, as if I was somehow bothering them for... ordering? And don't even get me started on how they handed me my drink. It was like they could barely be bothered to hand it over, no "thank you" or "have a nice day," just a silent handoff like I was some chore they couldn't wait to finish. I was so taken aback! I thought, "Really? Is this how you treat customers?" Honestly, I'm disappointed. Customer service matters, and the vibe here was downright rude. Today I walked in and was met with the worst attitude from the staff. I'm a 20 year old girl just like most the staff but I could never even imagine treating paying customers the way they treated me. Usually, I love Swig. I usually go to the Gilbert location. This location is fairly new and it's always very slow so I always try to stop at this one on my way into work. this morning I decided to stop by and get a drink before headed to the office. There was nobody outside to take my order so I went to the window and waited a few minutes before somebody came to the window. The girls gave me an amount to pay and I told her I had not ordered yet. She told me I had to go back around to order because she was not able to take my order. I said you can't take my order I've been sitting here waiting for somebody to come to the window and she said no, I went back around and Person was still not there. The guy finally came out and didn't say anything I told him what wanted and placed my order. The employees are rude and don't provide good customer service.
