During Covid times I go I touch with Aztec Graphics to ask about getting my poster framed. Barbara was very responsive and responded to my email promptly. I finally arranged sometime to go into PB and get to the shop. They hand craft each frame with beautiful materials. As Barbara was working on framing I shopped the store a little. I came across a Shephard Fairy Obey poster that I've had my eyes on for many years. I was unable to afford a hand signed original at an art show at Ducky Waddles in Encintas. I decided to get the poster and have her frame it. Barbara and I chatted a bit and I learned a little more about her and husband Rick's journey to California from back East. They are the original owners and have been in business since 1983. Both the framed art was done beautifully. I highly recommend Aztec Graphics for any of your framing and or art needs. We're so happy we have such a quality business in Chula Vista. We had a couple pieces we wanted…read moreframed, and wanted more than going to a store like Michael's. One piece was a 1959 magazine rum ad, which featured my husband's late grandfather. It was a delicate piece and irreplaceable. The second was a watercolor print we bought when we lived in South Carolina over 20 years ago. We wanted to replace the dated gold frame, but use the same matting. The print had slipped over the years and needed to be re-centered. The owner was helpful and patient with me while I selected the frames. He encouraged me to use the museum glass, and I'm so glad I listened to his advice. The items look almost as if there is no glass. The total price was a bit of a shocker, but in this instance I believe we got what we paid for. The items turned out so nice. It was our first time using this business and we will definitely use them in the future when we have more framing needs.
