The first impression I had when walking into the shop was, man, what a mess. There's just random…read morestuff all over the place, and what are obviously customer pieces sitting on the floor. Interesting. But, the other reviews said what an awesome job they did, so I figured that I'd let that influence me more than the mess in front of me. The lady working there was in the back chatting with someone, and I waited a few minutes before I poked my head back there to let them know I was in the lobby area. She politely said hello and said she would be with me in a minute. Well, after 20 minutes or so of listening to the lady and the guy in there bullshit about random things, they both made their way up to the front, and the gentleman left. They both thanked me for being so patient. Now, I totally understand that if there's one person working there, and two customers, one of the customers is going to have to wait. I was fine with that, but I think if you know that you have someone else waiting in the lobby, at least shoot the shit somewhere where they can't hear you. It was mildly irritating. She said something about the recession making things difficult to get, and the manufacturers were not making a lot of different frames anymore. Whatever. So I took my stuff literally less than 2 miles away, where I was helped almost immediately, and they had exactly what I was looking for. I asked if they had any issues obtaining framing material because of the recession, and they looked at me like I had a third eye. I figured as much.

The owner is amazing. She has a lot of knowledge about custom framing, canvas stretching and art…read more They also hosts several events throughout the year. There is food, wine and art. Get there early for art shows if you want to meet and greet with the artists.
