We were scouring Yelp, google reviews, and GPT to try and decide who could produce the highest quality frame and print for a piece that meant a lot to us. Genuinely could not be more pleased with the results. Helen and her team were extremely helpful with design recommendations and advice, and accommodated us waiting until the last minute to get a 60x40 print for our engagement party. The finished result was better than expected and we had endless compliments and jaws were dropped. The results were so amazing we already put in an order for two more. Highly highly recommend for anyone considering who to go with. Our photo looks straight out of a museum. A Frame of Art is the gold standard!

The first impression I had when walking into the shop was, man, what a mess. There's just random…read morestuff all over the place, and what are obviously customer pieces sitting on the floor. Interesting. But, the other reviews said what an awesome job they did, so I figured that I'd let that influence me more than the mess in front of me. The lady working there was in the back chatting with someone, and I waited a few minutes before I poked my head back there to let them know I was in the lobby area. She politely said hello and said she would be with me in a minute. Well, after 20 minutes or so of listening to the lady and the guy in there bullshit about random things, they both made their way up to the front, and the gentleman left. They both thanked me for being so patient. Now, I totally understand that if there's one person working there, and two customers, one of the customers is going to have to wait. I was fine with that, but I think if you know that you have someone else waiting in the lobby, at least shoot the shit somewhere where they can't hear you. It was mildly irritating. When I was finally helped, I asked for a fairly common type of frame (1/4 - 3/8" brushed aluminum), which they didn't have. She said something about the recession making things difficult to get, and the manufacturers were not making a lot of different frames anymore. Whatever. So I took my stuff literally less than 2 miles away, where I was helped almost immediately, and they had exactly what I was looking for. I asked if they had any issues obtaining framing material because of the recession, and they looked at me like I had a third eye. I figured as much.

I went back to the store simply asking to exchange the damaged items--not even for a refund--and was shocked by how I was treated. The store manager was beyond rude, dismissive, and completely unwilling to help. I explained that the items had just been purchased and were already broken, yet I wasn't even allowed to exchange them for undamaged ones. What should have been a very simple customer-service issue turned into an unnecessarily frustrating experience. I shop at Hobby Lobby regularly and have spent plenty of money there over the years, so this was especially disappointing. I understand stores have policies, but there is no excuse for treating a customer rudely when they are simply trying to resolve an issue with damaged merchandise they just purchased. Unfortunately, this experience has made me seriously reconsider shopping at this location again. Management should be setting the example for good customer service--not making customers feel like an inconvenience for bringing back merchandise that was sold broken.
