We discovered this little gem totally by accident while driving home from Michaels, whose framed selection kind of disappointed us. We saw the sign from the freeway and pulled over. The owner, whose name escapes me at the moment, was so pleasant and clearly skilled from the examples we saw around the store. His prices were actually better than Michael's for what seem to be a higher quality output that we have loved on our wall for a few years. Highly recommended and attending to use him again read more

Tom is the man! I came here based on the yelp reviews and have had three projects (a total of 7 frames). He and his wife also raise puppies for the disabled so if you're a dog person, you may run into a sweet white lab while you're there. Tom has every frame under the sun to choose from. He's collaborative in his suggestions to meet client needs and works on very reasonable timelines. I love supporting local businesses, and this is one I highly recommend! read more

Last year I was Flyfishing on the Yuba River for Shad. My friend is a Gyotaku artist so I brought back a fish to be printed. Gyotaku is an ancient Japanese art form using ink, made from charcoal and water, put onto the fish then transferred to paper creating a print of the fish. I brought the print over to the Frame Station on the recommendation of a friend. They did not disappoint. I brought the print in and the owner made suggestions and told us what would work and what would not work. We went with his advice. I couldn't believe how beautifully the framing and the border accented the print. It was actually stunning. I highly recommend the Frame Station read more

We had a large painting framed by Tom and for some reason we did not use anti glare glass, after a year we were unhappy that the glare was so bad you couldn't make out the art. I contacted Tom and he said bring the art back and he changed out the glass for us to anti glare and what a huge difference it made. It's great to deal with a company that stands behind their work. I will be back and send anyone who needs framing to the Frame Station. read more

I am absolutely thrilled by how my 4 prints look in their custom frames. The Frame Station is a superior establishment that offers quality service through their product and customer care. Their staff was incredibly friendly and was so helpful when it came to aiding me in choosing which frames to go with. Their prices are competitive with big name retailers (Michael's, The Aaron Brothers etc.) but with the quaint hospitality that only a small mom and pop business can provide. BUY LOCAL and support small business, go to The Frame Station for all your framing needs. You won't be dissappointed! read more

The Frame Station - I am beyond thrilled with how my prints turned out. The frames are unique and add so much character to my walls. - Framing Near Me - San Diego, California

It is a great fortune that I am so close to this shop. The staff is amazing, and I used to love to watch their service dog smile at me as I plucked frame pieces from the wall. The service is very predictable- terse yet knowledgeable and comforting. I have been here for wedding/funeral and everything in between. The only shop I care for most is Once Upon a Frame, but it is all the way up in Cedros. This is second best to the most impressive shop Ive seen. Much worth the extra price from Arron Bros and other chains. read more

I have been frequenting the frame station for many years. Nearly always, I just give them a basic idea of what I want or need and they always come back with a far better product than I hoped for. Five stars for both workmanship (can I use that word?) and five more for artistry. I am a very satisfied long-term customer and always will be. Retired Judge Larry Stirling read more

Great little frame kiosk that will make all your framing needs so easily achievable. Everything is straightforwardly displayed in front of you and due to the smallness of this little rotunda, you won't waste too much time picking the right candidate. read more

I have had several projects framed over the years, and have always been impressed by the Frame Station's attention to detail and excellent customer service. Tom, the owner, makes you feel like you are the most important customer he has - a rare find. The fact that his work is also first-rate is an added bonus. The only drawback about this place is its tucked-away location, a little tricky to access, but well worth the drive. read more

I love the Frame Station. Tom, the owner along with Gloria and Robin long time framers - all have an excellent eye for putting a beautiful custom framing job together. They are creative and artistic and can point you in the right direction if you are unsure about design, color combinations or are feeling overwhelmed with frame choices! Helpful people with a good "eye" for what works, and this framed print arrived ahead of time - it was a birthday present.

This place does amazing work. I bring everything here because left to my own devices, I'd frame everything in black with a white mat and then wonder why it looks bad. They do a great job of matching the colors and style of a piece to the right mat and frame. I even brought in four mismatched antique prints once, all on different paper, with different inks and yellowing, and they found mat colors and a frame style that complemented all of them and makes them look like a real set. It's not cheap, but it makes all the difference for a piece you're going to have hanging in your home or office for years to come. read more

I purchased four prints by my favorite artist and wanted to be sure they were nicely framed and protected by sun-resistant glass. The Frame Station was a great choice and I recommend it highly to anyone! There is a great selection of different frames and mat choices ~ while I ended up putting three of my pieces in pretty simple black frames, I wanted something more unique for the fourth and ended up with a perfect purple frame that complements the color of the artwork.
