If you're looking for breakfast spots in East Cambridge, I highly recommend this spot. The staff are extremely welcoming and make you feel like you're eating at a relative's home. My favorite things to get are the chocolate muffins, best I've ever had. And I also love the quesadillas. I have gotten food from Sweet Touch a few times and it is a good spot for breakfast or lunch. The location is conveniently located in East Cambridge near the Lechmere green line stop. There is also plenty of street parking along Cambridge Street. There is a good amount of indoor seating. I ordered through Too Good To Go for pickup. Most times I have gotten a variety of muffins. This time, I got 4 corn muffins. They are large and pretty good quality. The menu has plenty of typical breakfast options (eggs, omelettes, bagels, muffins, etc.). It looks like a comfortable spot for breakfast, so I hope to go eventually for a sit down meal. For breakfast items, it is priced reasonably as well. Overall, I definitely recommend Sweet Touch if you are looking for a convenient location, a comfortable diner-like atmosphere and plenty of breakfast options. Will be back again. read more

Great diner style breakfast food. The breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese and bacon was enjoyed. The omelets are griddle style, so make sure to ask for well done if you want the inside cooked fully. Greek omelet was stuffed with fresh spinach and tomatoes (I got without the feta) and the home fries are well cooked and seasoned well with black pepper. Ok, I have to say this place was great for breakfast! It didn't look very impressive at first, but there was a line for a reason. I ordered the egg whites breakfast which came with toast and home fries. My friends ordered the pancake breakfast and a breakfast sandwich. The food came out quick and tasted good. My friends also told me their breakfast was good. I noticed the line was consistent the entire time I was having breakfast. My friends pancakes were still not done. At about 5 minutes he noticed the manager who was extremely apologetic and immediately rectified the missing pancakes. He was so apologetic he continued to check up every few minutes. I guess we made the employee's a bit uncomfortable staying there we had no idea that they closed at 1 pm So we apologize for that. Came across Sweet Touch Cafe on our way to Harvard and it did not disappoint. Huge serving sizes, great prices, friendly staff, and fast service. Undoubtedly one of my favorite breakfast spots I've ever been to - if not my absolute favorite. It's also a nice, quiet atmosphere inside. This is our new breakfast spot! We ordered the Greek omelette which came with toast and home fries and the French toast with scrambled eggs and bacon. The omelette was absolutely delicious. The home fries were soft and had a great sear. I wasn't a huge fan of the French toast. It had flavor but the bread didn't absorb the egg batter as much as I would have liked. The scrambled eggs weren't anything special but the bacon was absolutely delicious! Also, I wish the sauce bottles were cleaner. I went to go use Tabasco sauce and noticed how grimey the bottle was. I came here on a weekday morning to quickly grab a breakfast sandwich. I ordered a bacon egg & cheese on an English muffin. Took a good 10 minutes to come out, which is understandable since it was fairly crowded and probably made to order. The sandwich was pretty large which I'm glad since it was $5. However, one half of the English muffin was completely burnt and it was too gross to even eat. Some of the charred pieces fell onto the egg and it was hard to pick them off. Weekends are always better with brunch!!! I love being able to take a short walk over to this place for a mighty breakfast to start the day. I've tried their omelettes, combo plates, pancakes and waffles. Each dish will leave you happily full on eggs, bacon, sausage patties and all the coffee you need to get a kick of energy. You can tell from just the pictures posted. There are plenty of seating and many folks take orders to go. I believe there is a restroom as well. I enjoy this place a lot and its warm cozy atmosphere. Their food is legit and it is delicious. I had the best eggs, potatoes & bacon of my life. Cooked to perfection and served piping hot with just the right amount of spices. If you happen to see the word "bacon" randomly inserted into sentences in this review, it's because I'm in a state of bacon-bliss right now thanks to Sweet Touch Cafe. In my never-ending journey to mix up the lunch hour a bit, I took a stroll down Cambridge St. today (bacon) and this was the first place I found. I was pleasantly surprised that people were still ordering (bacon) breakfast at noon on a weekday, but I wasn't quite in the mood for it, so I ordered a BLT (bacon) roll-up with a side of spicy fries and an iced coffee. While waiting, I had a chance to take in the decor (bacon) and was again impressed. The cafe is clean and orderly, with dark red tables and booths, and pictures on all the walls. Definitely the kind of place I wouldn't mind grabbing a coffee (bacon) at and sitting down to read for a while. After no more than 5 minutes, my food was ready, and i hauled the suspiciously heavy brown bag back to my office. I thought for a minute that they must have given me the wrong order, but soon discovered that the portions (bacon) they give here are just huge. My $2 side of spicy fries was enough for two people, and they were fried to perfection, crispy and warm and oh-so-good. Then came the BLT wrap, which must have been a foot long, with strips of juicy bacon poking out of the top. From the first bite i was sold. Sweet Touch Cafe has perfected the art of bacon-frying. It was exactly the right amount of chewiness and crispiness at the same time, but not too greasy or salty. If this is the kind of food they serve with their breakfasts too, I'm going to be back here every single day for a bacon-egg-and-cheese bagel to start my morning off right. read more

This is a terrific terrific terrific local breakfast spot. The prices, for this part of the city, can't be beat. You know it's solid when you see local workers and police frequent here for their own breakfast fix. Nothing fancy, just your typical diner food, but it's hearty and the quality is good.
