It was about two weeks to have them sewn on and while they did ask me if it was ok to sew through the liner, they did sew through the liner and pockets rendering the inner left pocket unusable. I don't really use the pockets except maybe to put my phone in, but I would have thought that they wouldn't have done that. All in all I had 4 patches sewn on for $80. As you can see, one got sewn right through the inside pocket. I would have like to have been asked about that, but hindsight being 20/20, I guess if I need any more sewn, I'll let them know. This business seems to do a lot of alterations for wedding dresses, so I'm guessing not a lot of bikers are hitting them up to sew their cuts. Just be aware if that's something you need.

Before you choose Sweet Lana for alterations, I recommend that you read this. I'd hate to be that…read moreperson who writes a bad review but this deserves to be shared. Svitlana is unprofessional, unorganized, and treated my wedding dress carelessly, which ended up with black stains on my dress. I purchased my wedding dress at LUV Bridal in Tempe. They provided me a list of 3 seamstress who could do my alterations. The woman who sold me the dress raved about Svitlana, who was first on the list for recommended alterations. Svitlana has great reviews on Yelp and Google so I didn't bother looking elsewhere. I visited Svitlana a total of 4 times. The first couple times were fine but she was ALWAYS late. When I arrived to my 3rd appointment, she wasn't even home yet and the door was locked. I waited outside for about 10-15 minutes until she came home. When I tried on my dress, I noticed multiple black stains in the front of my wedding dress. One of them looked like black oil stains. I asked her where the stains came from but she had no idea. From the day I purchased my dress, I never took it out of the bag until I took it to her for alterations. Svitlana claimed that the black stains came from the LUV Bridal bag. But when I called LUV Bridal, they were not aware of wedding dresses getting stained from the bag. She said she'd try to get the stains out but she's not a professional. I didn't even trust her to clean it. I added sleeves to my dress so I needed to stop in for a 4th time. The sleeves were too tight and I could barely move my arms. By the time I picked up the dress, I had to leave for my flight for my wedding that week, so I couldn't ask her to adjust the sleeves. She tried to clean the stain and it ended up with a lighter white ring around it, and the stain was still there. She played it off saying that the stain is small and took a picture to show that it's not noticeable from afar. I'm upset that I had multiple black stains on my dress in the first place. I understand that my dress will get a little dirty at some point, but that should happen AFTER the wedding, not before by a seamstress. When I found a dry cleaner in Houston that would try to clean my wedding dress, she told me that the black stains appear to be burn stains, so they couldn't take it out. I was horrified. When I tried on my dress at the dry cleaners in Houston, she noticed that the lining of my dress was not properly altered so she did a rush job for me. Thankfully, my dress was ready just 2 days before my wedding day. I paid so much money to get my wedding dress altered, and I had to do even more work to it afterwards. I'm disappointed and upset beyond belief. I called LUV Bridal to explain the whole story, and it turns out a few other brides have experienced similar issues with Svitlana. She has now been removed from the list of recommended seamstresses. I hope this review helps future brides.

They offer a wide range of services including dry cleaning, alterations, leather & suede cleaning, rug and drape cleaning, wash & fold, and even wedding dress preservation. I brought in 2 linen shirts, 1 pair of linen pants, and 1 pair of dress pants for dry cleaning, and everything came back looking fantastic. What really stood out was the linen pants. They had a stain at the bottom of one leg that other dry cleaners either missed or couldn't remove. Island Dry Cleaners got it out without any issue. Every piece was also crisply pressed. The service was fast and friendly. I dropped everything off Tuesday morning and received a text notification Wednesday late morning saying my clothes were ready for pickup -- a full day earlier than expected. Pricing was $7.50 per item, which is a little higher than what I'm used to paying, but absolutely worth it for the level of quality and service received. I'll definitely be back.

It came back completely ruined. I figured it was a one-time occurrence so I returned to have them clean an expensive duvet cover & matching shams. I returned to pickup the items & they lost my shams, claiming I never dropped them off. I always wash and dry clean everything together; belts with the outfits, shams with duvet covers so the fabrics are "worn" the same & match for as long as possible. I am furious I will never again have the matching pillowcases for this beautiful duvet. Avoid this business at all costs.

Took my granddaughter and the shoes that she would wear with the dress to "Careful Cleaners" for the seamstress to pin the dress for a proper fit. I picked up the dress, checked the hem and found that the top gauze layer was not even. I pointed this out to the lady at the cleaners before I left. At home, my granddaughter tried on the dress and I found that the hem was not even. The front was longer than the back. I called the cleaners, spoke with the same lady as before and voiced my complaint. She didn't know what to do so she called her manager to see what should be done. I received a call back NOT from the manager but the same lady that has no authority to do anything. The manager suggested I bring the dress back in (with my granddaughter and her shoes) on Wednesday to see if they can fix the dress by FRIDAY!!! Now, here is the problem with that solution: The seamstress is there till 3:00 On M-W-F. My granddaughter gets out of school at 3:15 so we would need to make another appointment. I would have to drop the dress off and then return later and pick it up. What if she screws it up worse than it is. Careful Cleaners policy is that you have to prepay for services. I paid $70 to have this dress altered. The manager did not have the courtesy to call me back . No offer of a refund or even a partial refund. I do not think I should be penalized for their mess up. This was the third time I used their services and it will be the last!!
