Ordered from here on Uber eats for the first time that I tried it and then went in person. Both times the quality was the same and I really appreciate how well they packaged the food when getting it delivered. The staff was really friendly and the place was really clean. The jalapeño cilantro dressing is actually a lot more spicy than I expected, but I love it and the quality of lettuce is amazing.

This is my go-to salad / bowl spot in Vienna - and an occasional sandwich! It's clear they prioritize fresh ingredients and great service. Ordering on the app is easy and it's nice to earn points towards future orders. My family loves the chimichurri bowl and one of my favorites is the brussels and pear salad, hold the kale & add fresh mesclun greens. Delicious!

Healthy. Clean. Tasty. Friendly Staff. The salmon had nice flavor, but was sadly a bit overcooked. The side sauce and squeezed lemon helped a smudge tie everything together. If the dish had more sauciness and less dry-ness, I think that would meet my expectations! I was happy with the portion size!

Finally a return visit to Sweet Leaf. Actually this time, DS did take-out for five sandwiches. I really enjoyed my Koo Koo Roo ... chicken, Cheddar cheese, avocado, roasted corn, red pepper, organic argula, and chipotle chile sauce. Think maybe I left off the sauce. A good combination. Best part was the toasted baguette. Very tasty. DS warned DH not to order his sandwich on sourdough. That it would not be like the San Francisco sourdough we are accustomed to. Did DH listen? No! Did he like the sourdough? No! Left the crusts ... not edible. Overall a good takeout meal, especially since there was a deal on five sandwiches for the price of four. Next time, I will remind DH to get the baguette!

Salads are fresh and very generously portioned, unlike some competitors (ahem Sweetgreen). Good selection of dressings and the sandwiches are good as well.

Very fresh salads. I ordered Berry Leaf (seasonal menu) and strawberries were so fresh. I loved the berry dressing not very sweet :)

I have been visiting Sweetleaf ever since it opened when I was in middle school. I, now a junior in college, still look forward to my visits when I'm back home for breaks. They are always adding new things to the menu and the seasonal specials are always exciting and delicious. On my most recent visit, I tried the turkey and apple sandwich, which was, in my opinion, absolutely to die for. I'm such a huge "fruit-on-sandwiches" kind of gal, and the crisp apples on this sandwich were next level. This sandwich has everything you want: that crisp, juicy apple, layers of turkey, a creamy cheese, and the fresh crunch of greens on top. I can't recommend this sandwich enough. My boyfriend even wanted to cast aside his own order to finish the other half of my sandwich (not that I let him)! I can't recommend Sweetleaf enough. It is a perfect lunch date location with its quaint tables and decor inside, simple patio seating, delicious array of sandwiches, salads, and bowls, and the sweet treats for later. I love the frozen yogurt and milkshakes they've got. I can't wait to keep coming back every time they add something new.

Fair at best. The Veggie sandwich at Cenans in Vienna is way better, bigger and costs less. Try both, Cenans wins easily

Finally found a place nearby that I LOVE. Moved here from CA and it's been a challenge finding healthy fresh fusion food like this.

Blessings Cafe just did a big renovation and re-opened August 6th, and the renovation looks FANTASTIC! I love the new tile decor, and they have added on some new items to their menu they're trying out (the Stack [breakfast], Yogurt & Granola, Hummus Chicken Wrap, Italian Hero cold sandwich, and Turkey Pesto cold sandwich [different from the panini]). They also now have pastries from Fresh Baguette, yum! And a new coffee menu that looks fabulous, though I don't drink coffee so can't chime in on how delicious I'm sure it is. And they still have fresh-baked warm cookies any time! The new seating layout is fantastic and makes much more sense for the cafe, in my opinion - allows people to wait off to the side when things get crowded for lunch time, and people can come and relax here and enjoy a meal more comfortably than before. I absolutely love this family-owned business They also allow you to order all your food ahead of time for pick-up on their website (except the pastries). And if you get food to go, they leave little smiley faces on your box. Just a little extra blessing to send you on your way.

The roll was reminiscent of a Philly sub roll, which - now this may be polarizing - is the standard by which I judge all sub rolls. Philadelphia just has the best subs ;) Anyway - they use good deli meats here. I don't think they make their own fries, but they were nice and crispy with a bit of seasoning on them and went well with our sandwiches. My husband had the cheesesteak and said it was just meh - definitely steak-ums - but we are from the self-proclaimed cheesesteak capital of the world :) Don't pass up the dessert case though - I am not a sweets person, but they had this triple cheese thing that was like a cheese danish, but with a million times more cheese and just a little bit of pastry, we... uhhh... devoured it... It paired really nice with their house chocolate gelato, which was the definition of rich, decadent chocolate. The lady at the register was kind enough to allow us to try a side-by-side of the house and the machine gelato... word of advice... skip the machine, go with the house gelato - the flavor (and the serving size) knocks that name-brand, machine mumbo jumbo out of the park :) Honestly, just a great sandwich joint with a little store selling specialty items, many of which are from Italy (I will be back for some squid ink pasta the next time I am cooking for friends!). Lovely little gem :)

The Chicken Little was medium sized but the flavor was more than expected and exactly as a chicken sandwich should be. Highly recommend- I can't wait to come back and try their other sandwiches as well. The owner was here as well and was super lovely to speak too.

Really enjoyed my time at circa!…read more Before coming, I perused the menu and knew that I wanted the chicken paillard. It was something I'd never heard of and looked like it had Angel hair pasta, arugula, and the chicken looked interesting. It looked fried, but not in a typical way. So when I got my meal, I was so pleasantly surprised at how delicious the chicken was. It was a light crispy, airy texture to the skin. And the pasta was delicious - so good. It had mushrooms and sweet peppers along with the butter sauce. Thoroughly enjoyed it! I also ended up getting a mocktail which was a spicy faux margarita. Not bad! It had a nice ambience for groups, and our server was super helpful. He made a lot of good suggestions and made sure to check on us. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the area and looking for a nice dining experience!

I understand that you can't as a restaurant work on the same menu all the time, but they take away almost all staples and replace them with something very questionable. So far I tried 2 items and both were with major issues. First I tried Grilled trout entree and trout was bland with nice farro side . Whole dish seems underwhelming and had a lack of bonding sauce or flavor profile to make it a dish. Second time I had Salmon salad and this was not good at all. Salmon itself was perfectly cooked as a medium rare on my liking and champagne dressing in mixed greens was good. But I salad had cold and slimy potato pieces and big chunks of blackish marinated onions,it was hard to eat and even unpleasant. I'm really disappointed, because Thai shrimp salad was absolutely best salad in DC area as well as other very popular dishes from old menu. Please bring back Thai Shrimp!!
