After bringing this up and the staff looking into it, it turns out that the decorator just completely botched our order.It was too late for us to cancel the order and get a cake anywhere else, so the staff member just hurriedly scrawled a happy birthday on the cake, but it just looked sloppy and somehow made the cake look even more sad. When she saw the cake, my daughter asked where her pink unicorn cake was. The guests at our party were too nice to say anything but I could see the look of surprise at such a basic cake. To say the least, I was pissed. Luckily, the decorator got at least the requested flavors of our cake correct and the cake itself tasted fine. After the party, I contacted the store and had to go back and forth with a couple of the staff members before they finally contacted the manager who gave me a call and asked me to explain the situation over again. At the end of the day, she refunded me for 50% of what I paid. Although this didn't take away from the disappointing experience we had, it was better than nothing. While this place is still fine for an impromptu sweet treat while at the mall, I won't be bringing my business back here for any custom cake orders.

Been here twice. Went here once with my co-workers, stuff was honestly decent, nothing special. Service was horrible. Long wait for our orders. That was a few years ago, Then today, I went there with my mom. There was literally no one there, except for 1 table to 2 customers. The worker there (I believe it was a lady? Not entirely sure), did not acknowledge us at all. So if you are the manager or the owner of this place; the worker you have working today on 6/3/14 at around 5:00PM, you need to be aware of this disrespectful employee of yours. We literally stood there for 3 minutes as we tried to get her attention to order. She literally walked around behind the counter and then went to the back to the kitchen. We then never saw her for a good 5 minutes. These 5 minutes of nothing literally felt like 15 minutes of no acknowledgment and no orders placed. My mom lightly asked out loud if anyone was still there, and the lady finally came out and snapped back at my mom, "CAN YOU WAIT?!" Apparently she was in the kitchen the whole time cooking and making the customers food. I understand that, but at least do something about us. If she at least knew how to work, at least acknowledge us and say hi to us and take our orders first before going back to the kitchen and make the food. I understand you were probably the only worker at that time, but seriously, at least show some respect. The customers service is horrible and no respect whatsoever. Her snapping response to my mom was very aggravating too. It really got on my nerves even till now. It was that annoying. This place needs to find workers who knows how to respect people and acknowledge people. I don't care if the wait is long, at least take our orders and tell us to have a seat or something. We really didn't mind the wait. But having us wait with no acknowledgement? No I know the deserts and the food here is really good, but sadly the service is HORRIBLE. Overall, horrible. The overall experience at this establishment was disappointing due to inconsistent policies, questionable pricing practices, and a lack of clarity in service. The menu lists a mango sago drink for approximately $8-9, which is reasonable for the area. However, when I requested a substitution of mango with strawberry, the request was denied. While it is understandable that some restaurants maintain fixed menus, the issue became apparent upon reviewing another section of the menu. The customizable bowl option allows for a strawberry base, with sago and coconut milk added. This combination is essentially identical to the mango sago--yet it is priced at $14, nearly double the cost. When the dessert arrived, it was served in a bowl. Upon asking for a cup, I was informed that a plastic cup and straw required an additional $2 charge. While unusual, this would have been acceptable had the portion at least matched expectations. Instead, once transferred into the cup, the contents did not even fill it, highlighting the inconsistency in value. This situation was frustrating because the originally denied request--a strawberry substitution--was in fact possible, but only at a much higher price and with a noticeably smaller serving. Additionally, several desserts on the menu list condensed milk as an ingredient, yet when I asked to purchase condensed milk on the side, I was told the restaurant did not have any. This contradicted the menu directly and added further confusion. In summary, while the taste was acceptable and the restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere, the lack of consistency, inflated pricing, and poor value make the overall experience unsatisfactory and not worth the trouble. read more

If you are a big fan of MANGO, this spot is a must-try. The drinks are not too sweet and just the right amount of mango flavor. Pomelo & Mango w/ Sago: Pomelo added a nice citrus to the dessert. The coconut cuts the citrus and adds a creaminess. It pairs well with the mango chunks! Strawberry Cheesecake Croffle: Tasted crispy and moist in the center. I ordered the strawberry cheesecake, and it tasted delicious. I also ordered a few pastries for my friend's birthday party, and they always satisfied me. Not only do they look adorable, but they TASTE YUMMY!!! The back on my end is that I would have to cross the Bay Bridge for this treat. Went here on Saturday night around 9:30 pm. We were lucky to grab the last seat. 15 mins later, this place was packed and loud. Came here with bunch of friends. I ordered japanese crepes with chocoate sauce (rating C). Their whipped cream was nasty, ice cream was ok, the crepe needs to be more crispy, but overall it was just ok. My friend ordered mixed fruit in watermelon juice. I thought that was good. It was fresh and refreshing. Some of my other friends ordered drinks in tall cocktail glass. They thought it was also ok. Overall rating is a 3 because food was just OK. I have had better. I'm a fan of this place, and I love their petite cakes, and they also offer many Asian desserts. However, the egg puff and steamed milk pudding are both pretty awesome. The egg puff is nice and crispy, while the steamed pudding tastes like the custard in the middle of an egg tart - soft and silky. The service is not that bad. I'm also in the customer service field, so I understand that it's tough to hire workers. I've been coming here for over ten years and the food/service never disappoint me. Ventured into Sweet Indulgence around 4 PM seeking sweet delights. The ambiance was calm as it wasn't too busy. Opted for the mango coconut with crystal jelly drink, which, while enjoyable, didn't particularly stand out. No major complaints, just a pleasant indulgence. Diversifying our dessert choices, we ordered the black sesame soup, ginger soup with dumplings, and taro black rice soup. The desserts here taste great and look great, and there are a lot to choose from. But the service is slow and often rude. Some desserts they tell you take 15-20 minutes to make, which is cool. But sometimes other things on the menu take just as long. The chairs look fun but are uncomfortable to sit on. So, you arrive all pumped to eat some sesame paste or pudding or cake, then you wait 10 minutes to order and another 10 minutes for the dessert to arrive. There is a huge parking lot in the backside with easy parking, a warm and homey interior design, and indoor seating for small groups. Got me my fix of coconut milk! Saw the milky slush on a neighboring table so I had to find out what it was. The Black Sesame Gelato with Coconut Slush is absolutely refreshing thats not too icy. The cones were crispy and paired so well with the ice cream mmmm! Got the black sesame soft serve topped with a generous amount of cookie crumble (rich, nutty, and not overly sweet). Definitely a must-try if you love black sesame! Also got the Ghiradhelli chocolate ice cream swirl, as per usual, you can't go wrong with chocolate ice cream if you're indecisive heh! Cute spot, great presentation, and the perfect place to satisfy your sweet tooth. Would definitely come back to try more flavors!

Bowl of finely shaved/crushed ice (like snow, hence the name!) in a creamy sauce (kind of like melted ice cream), one fruit, and one topping included. We chose strawberries and tapioca pearls. We shared this between four of us. This was very good! I wanted to get red bean, but my daughter wanted tapioca, so we got that. The strawberries were sweet and tasty.
