$43 for everything and it was not worth it.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the size of the macarons yesterday. At first I thought it was my imagination until I compared the ones in the case to the size of their displays. On top of being tiny, the taste was not fresh. So sad this place has fallen off.

Quick and easy service! Walked up to counter and ordered a red velvet cupcake and we were in and out in less than 5 minutes. The building is so cute too! The cupcake was the right amount of sweetness for me (Asian tastebuds, iykyk) and I was craving more after! Would definitely try their other selections here as well next time I'm in the area. Super yummy and hits the sweets cravings!!

I honestly never noticed that there was a little bakery on the other side of Jeni's ice cream, but some friends saw it and we were killing time so we thought we would check it out I was fairly impressed by the overall interior appearance. Everything was clean, but more so I thought they had a very appealing aesthetic. The blackboard with handwritten menu items made it feel more artisanal. The garland made out of cupcake wrappers was really clever. The baked items on display were all appetizing and identical The staff was friendly and professional. I was worried that ordering a flat white would make us late to an appointment (only had 5 minutes to get to the appointment that was right around the corner), but they had it prepared almost immediately The baked goods were all tasty, and the flat white was partially good and strong (more a European or Australian flat white) Some tips: Try one of their many macarons. Again, if you enjoy flat whites this place makes a great one. This is a great spot to grab a coffee or treat and maybe take it to go as you walk around city centre Cheers!!

Not pup friendly so no longer a walkable cafe or bakery like I once thought of it as. Food and drinks are ok and decent if you're not with your animals though

Great place to stop by after 0800 to get your sweet fix in. They bring all their freshly baked goodies then. The ham and cheese croissant was warmed for me and so crunchy and flaky and the ham and cheese were lovely together. The petite key lime pie is a tasty treat with the crumbly stuff on the outside. Strawberry cupcake was good - fresh chunks of strawberries on the inside, I was just disappointed by how hard the topping was - definitely in the fridge too long and not enough time at room temp. Highly recommended if you are in thennehghborhood. 10 minute parking is available.

Such a beautiful quaint pastry shop with lots of sweet choices. The inside backdrop is neutral, with the desserts adding vibrant color throughout the shop in their cakes, cupcakes, and macarons. I like the look of the different heights of cake stands, pedestals, and the chalkboard. This made it even more charming. I ordered the salted caramel cupcake, the frosting a silky smooth. I got the rainbow cake for my niece, and we shared the slice; it was a reasonably large piece, and the frosting was equally good as the cupcake frosting. Ok, I ate her whole cake. The server went out of her to make a noncoffee drink for my seven-year-old niece so we could be twins drinking our Caffe Mocha outside under the umbrellas at the wooden tables. She really thought she was drinking coffee. The service was great, making our girl's day out the best.

Really wish I could give this place a better review... the coffee is good. The pastries over rated. But it's the service for me here... the employees here are so miserable and it's truly every-time I go here. The last few times could barely get a smile out of any of them. It's like they truly hate being here and hate their job. Which is so insane because normally baristas are so pleasant but not here. They aren't SWEET they def on the salty side so I hope They don't get Mistreated here by management or something because I really don't understand why else each and every one of them aren't on the friendly welcoming side.... They seem to hate being there which makes me not so much want to return often while in city center

It's been a minute since Sweet had a review. I'm pleasantly surprised they survived this location during the pandemic till now. I've only had their macarons and mini creme brûlée cheesecake, so I can only attest to those. The other desserts like the cupcakes, truffles, and pastries also look appealing. Mini crème brûlée cheesecake: Kind of tasted like flan. It was a bit dry on the cheesecake part. I understand it's a mini, but it still can be moist. Yup, I said the word. It's not worth $3. Crème brûlée macaron: Also $3 because it's specialty? I don't know about that. It was my least favorite of all the ones I bought. It was sweet and tasted mostly of burnt sugar. From here on out, the rest of the other macarons are $2.35/each. They don't have deals for 6 or whatever. Funfetti birthday cake: One of my faves. I love the vanilla filling. The crunch of the sprinkles gives it added texture. Cookies & Creme: My favorite. I could eat 12 in one sitting. The filling is light and buttery. It just melts in your mouth. Espresso: Also one of my faves. Definitely for coffee lovers. The espresso flavor is strong. Worth it. Pistachio: This flavor is my usual go-to for macarons. It was ok. Flavor resembles Blue Bell pistachio ice cream. I would come back for their macarons. I kept mine in the fridge and resisted eating all in one sitting. The outer shell still had a nice crunch.

Well every t looks really good but they were having some issues. The macaron counter was not working so they had to go to the back to grab macarons from the freezer. The ones on display and on the list were not accurate with the ones they had in the back so we had to switch our order. They took a long time to grab our macarons. They only accept cash. When we got home the macarons were hard, dry and pretty hollow. Not great. Cute shop with potential.

Good atmosphere. Good coffee and great bakery. Just bit expensive so think of it as paying for the ambiance.

When I stopped by on a weekday evening at 9pm it was packed. They had stations setup throughout the store to order different goods, which helped to alleviate the rush. Knafeh ($6) - They offered 2 types of knafeh, one with cheese and one with custard. I went with the one made with Nabulsi cheese and topped with shredded phyllo, and soaked in sugar syrup. It was warm, crispy and delicious! Karak tea ($5) - This milk tea drink was made with aromatic spices, primarily cardamom, cloves, ginger and cloves. I was happy to see they used whole milk instead of evaporated milk. The drink was incredibly rich and creamy and tasted great. Turkish delight ($18 / lb.) - This was extremely fresh, soft and chewy, made with cornstarch, sugar, nuts. Some of the varieties I tried had chocolate and/or fruits. The baklava here was fresh made with layers of phyllo dough, chopped nuts, and held together with some honey. The nut offerings here included, almonds, walnuts, peanuts and a few more. Overall I was impressed with everything they offered here with the exception of the nuts, which I thought were just ok. I'd definitely return if I was in the area.

The Dubai crepe was super rich and creamy and nice large portion size. The strawberry mousse cake was frozen solid, so I was not able to eat it right away but it was a lovely mousse with jelly fruit filling and a thick chocolate crust. Also got a bag of chocolates, which are weighed by the pound. The only qualm I have is that the chocolates are not labeled, so when you mix them all together, it truly is a bit of a Russian roulette on what you'll get. Everything was super yummy. Will definitely need to be back!

We all liked the harry potter experience and some different anime type experiences as well that my children liked. The foods and drinks are on theme and although it's not cheap, it's definitely not as much as Disneyland. We came on the weekends, but during lunchtime, and I can see how they might be really busy during the dinner rush. Sometimes you might need a timed entry to go in, but thankfully, we have not since we've been going. I will say that it's quite small and gets cramped really fast. Inside you will also find French pastries, coffees and teas, gelato, milkshakes, sandwiches and macaroons. I felt the most interesting items were the French pastries as they are cute and tasty as well. Also, they plate the pastries nicely when you dine in as an added bonus. I tried the Chocolate Royale and the Ruby. Chocolate Royale - a petit chocolate mouse slice with flat chocolate panels along the sides. It is delicate and tasty. If you're a chocolate lover, this is definitely up your alley. Ruby - visually this looks like a strawberry Hershey kiss, with red powder on the exterior and a top piece of foil to resemble foil on the wrapper of a hershey kiss. Inside, it's filled with a strawberry cream and has a chocolate base. I just wish there was more chocolate in this one. They have plenty of seating inside as well as along the sidewalk. Inside you have the more fancy tables, whereas outside, they're more weather resistant and not as upscale in appearance. The soft drinks to drink along with your sweets are in a cold case along the hotel side of the space and you just take them to the register as you order. Previously it seemed more of latte, but now to me its a legit Capp. Their choice of pastries hasn't changed, which gives you a good assortment of choices and they have added an additional barista or server which also is a nice touch for service. Since we were already in the area after breakfast at TJ's Filipino Cuisine, we finally got the chance to stop by and try their baked goods for ourselves. We arrived early, so the bakery wasn't too busy yet. The bakers were busy prepping more goodies in the back while my cousin and I browsed all the Filipino baked goods we really miss from back home in the Philippines. They even had suman, sapin-sapin, biko, and other kakanin, which was nice to see. I specifically looked for the chicken empanada, and my cousin wanted to try the ube white chocolate chip cookie. We also saw different kinds of siopao and planned to come back later to buy some before heading back to San Antonio. We tried the ube white chocolate chip cookie first, but honestly we weren't totally satisfied. It tasted more like a regular white chocolate chip cookie with purple coloring and didn't really have much ube flavor. I also tried the chicken empanada. My cousin didn't like it because it was sweeter than expected--we were both expecting it to be savory. There seemed to be caramelized sugar in the outside of the pastry, which probably added to the sweetness. I still like it, though it was definitely sweeter than what I'm used to. Red Ribbon's chicken empanada is still my favorite. Later that day before leaving Houston, we came back for the siopao we planned to take home. We finally decided to just buy a couple pieces for ourselves, heat them up in the bakery, and try them fresh. When we saw the price for a four-pack, we were honestly disappointed. It felt expensive for the size. The siopao wasn't huge, and while I like the dough, there wasn't much chicken filling inside. For the portion, taste, and quality, it felt overpriced. Overall, it's probably not worth making another trip back for us. We did enjoy the cassava ube suman, and I like the chicken empanada, but not enough to drive all the way to Houston just for those. If I live nearby, I might come back to try other baked goods, but based on this visit, I'm not sure the rest would impress my palate. I still give them credit for cleanliness and customer service, although we did notice fruit flies on one of the shelves and reported it. The staff was friendly, and the bakery itself was welcoming. At the end of the day, since they're a bakery, the expectation is great-tasting, quality, mouthwatering Filipino breads, pastries ", and kakanin. While some items were enjoyable, overall it just didn't quite live up to the hype for us.
