I cannot tell you how much I love this place! My boyfriend and I go here once a week for breakfast because the food is ALWAYS on point, the service is amazingly friendly (without being excessive), and the atmosphere is comfortable and fun. I found myself in Gresham, and I was starving, looking for breakfast. This place was perfect. Cool place, low key, good people, good food...reminded me of a fun ski town restaurant. I had a bacon, feta cheese, etc omelette with hash browns and a pancake...I was very happy eating and left full and happy. About $10. read more

Great breakfast and lunch spot in Gresham. I love the décor inside which is hard to imagine from the outside, although their patio on the outside is lively and colorful and a fun place to hang out and eat. The staff is all real friendly and the food tastes great and you never leave disappointed or hungry. The owner Faith is always in good spirits and makes you feel welcome when you come. One of the best things for me is that it is family friendly with a kitchen play area for my kids to entertain themselves with so my wife and I can enjoy our meals. I try to get out there at least a couple times a week. Their chicken fried steak is great and my wife loves the French toast, but I think she should shake it up at times since all the plates I see pass by look delicious. This place is still awful. Even empty the service ignores you and refills your water with room temperature water. They are no help when ordering your food either. Our food was lukewarm at best and portions were small. The whole experience took nearly an hour with like 1 other table. After we were done we could've walked out without paying and I doubt they would've noticed for 20 minutes. read more

Dude. Food was amazing, service was awesome (and personable!) - worth the trip, even as a quick stop off I-84.

Ordered the steak and eggs. The steak was cooked medium well instead of the medium rare I ordered. Eggs yolks were totally cooked instead of over easy. In contrast, my boyfriend ordered the juevos rancheros and that was delicious. We also had the mimosa bucket. I think a bit more orange juice could have been included. read more

Not great, but not terrible. My husband and I were excited to walk into Sweet Bettys and find a seemingly hip restaurant in Gresham of all places. The music that was playing was not old retirement home music, but alternative rock. My son was quite happy about this especially when the black keys came on! The service was top notch from the girls we had as our waitresses. The raspberry french toast is the best thing on the menu. Make sure to grab it if you can. My husband was not that impressed with his omelet, but wasn't mortified either. Its a cute little restaurant with decent food for the price. read more

Small, inexpensive, cute place. Good food. Being its so small, having more then just a couple of people turns into "waiting for a spot", they always seem super busy which is good & under staffed, not so good. The wait staff is so busy it took 20 minutes to get a coffee refill. Other than that our visits are good. read more

Great food, Bloody Mary's and a super nice owner. We love this place.

I've been coming to sweet betty's bistro for 2.5 years and the servers Christine and Allie have always been so amazing. Orders are always correct and expedited fast. I have noticed over the last 30 days there are some new faces there is a young server who's really tall who made my party wait over 25 mins to order or get water, and when the order was completed is was incorrect and took several mins to make right. There's another server that's mid 20's really blonde hair, she always appears to be angry and not personable. I feel very rushed when I'm there. I hope to see these concerns/experiences fixed. I really hope to see Allie, and I belive it's Christine more in the bistro. read more

My fiancee and I have been to Sweet Betty's 3 times. Twice for breakfast and once for lunch. I'm really bummed because the place actually has pretty good food. However, both times for breakfast one of the coffee mugs had lipstick on it and at lunch time I ordered a Jack and Coke and it had a bunch of fruit flies in it. (Turned out the whole bottle of jack had dead fruit flies in the bottom.) YUCK! Sadly, these are real deal breakers for coming back to a restaurant. If you can't keep simple things like coffee mugs clean or bugs out of a bottle of booze, there's a bigger underlying problem. read more

'm from out of state and looked up the closest breakfast place on my phone and ended up here. i got the breakfast burrito with no sour cream. it tasted fresh and good, eggs were fluffy tortilla was fresh. server was attentive and polite without being overbearing. free wifi for me to get a little business done while I ate. only negative was the bloody mary. One of my favorite drinks and I've had them just about everywhere...this was one of the worst, which was upsetting because everything else was good. Overall I would say this place is a great breakfast spot but I'd try a mimosa next time instead of the bloody mary...watery and bland to say the least read more

We heard that this place was a great restaurant to eat breakfast; so we thought we would try it out. First; we were not that impressed they have high prices for a small amount of food. Second; my husband used the restroom came back to his seat started drinking his coffee than asked me if I drank some of his coffee I replied back no why? He said because there is lipstick on my coffee cup; I said it is not mine that is gross. Third; there were two flies that were buzzing around our table. Needless to say; we could not finish our breakfast and did not take a doggy bag home. Fourth; when the bill arrived to us; the waiter ran my debit card for our breakfast; when he brought me my bill; it was ran for a total of $0.23 cents. I knew it was wrong so I wrote in the amount of $23.00 plus a 10% tip. We will not go back to that restaurant and never refer it our family or friends. Very disappointing for a first time visit. read more
