I ordered the Hope's Mess with eggs over easy, a biscuit, and sausage patty and the youngster ordered the Huevos Rancheros. I was told that Hope was now living my wife's ideal life while her partner lived mine. Hope rolled in later and the partner was there first thing so she was not there. We got drinks as well and waited a perfectly reasonable time for our food. Rich, creamy country gravy, perfectly cooked eggs, good coffee. My companion enjoyed his food also, but since it's not my spouse, I didn't feel comfortable stealing a bite to report directly. Always a pleasure to stop in, bring a sticky bun home, and visit with nice people in the community.

I always order the German pancake; so did my daughters, and it tasted fabulous. My hubby got the Farmer's Omelet, which was also very good. Special shout-out to Tara, our amazing server. She was kept very busy, but never lost her smile and friendliness, and her service was excellent. She's a wonderful asset to your business and I hope she's our server next time we come in. We ended up having a lovely conversation, they shared a bit about the neighborhood and even suggested some local thrift shops to check out. I first ordered a drip coffee, both selections looked and tasted like coffee flavored hot water. So I went back to the store, told the clerk their coffee was not brewed correctly and asked for an Americano. Which was not any better. It is rare I won't drink coffee, even vending machine coffee, so this coffee was really THAT BAD. Especially for almost $5. So I threw it away, walked down to stomping grounds and got a coffee.
