Sad Day,first started eating at Deas 45 years ago. Walked in and it looks so different, I asked what happened. They said the restaurant had been sold. I wanted to leave, but they were telling me oh the burgers are the same. They said tbe burgers are the same...one bite , I put the burger down and never picked it back up again, I looked over at my wife. She had done the same thing.. we ate our fries ,paid the bill and I am very sorry and sad to say,we will never be back, this is NOT Deas in and out . The burger was bad. The atmosphere was horrible, but we did have good service. It's a sad day to see somebody come in and ruined such a good thing. read more

Used to be 4.8 stars. The milkshake machine has been down for a month. How good can a Stumpy burger and tots be without a chocolate shake? Hope they get their act together soon. Wendy's is across the street. No adult drinks but they have milkshakes FFS. read more

Crappy bar diner. This place needs to be shut down no one should go here crappy service from server My girlfriend and I came in on Sunday night for a late dinner first time being there. We had a male sir who had no idea what he was doing and no idea how to serve customers. Kept getting the order wrong and was rude and snotty and acted like we were stupid and dumb. Food was horrible. Do not know if it was because the Cook or for the crappy server. This is a horrible place to come this place needs to be permanently shut down the server that work tonight should be fired. No one should bother going this diner. It's not really a diner it's more of a bar. This place gets one star which means horrible place and crappy pork customer service. Shame on the owners for having a crappy Cafe bar and having crappy employees who treat customers poorly!! Everyone in the public stay away from this place!! read more

We were surprised that the main seating area was under construction, per the below picture. We were directed to another door around the corner. Cute little bar with lots of big screen TV's. Clean and welcoming! Very personable bartender/waiter! We both had their famous "long burger" and fries! Very average, maybe below average, fry's we're just fry's but the sauce was excellent. The best thing about the whole experience was the root beer milkshake. "Jim Dandy's " is hands down a way better burger joint all the way around. Inexpensive but not great! Wouldn't recommend it for food. Maybe this will improve with the remodel, probably not. read more

We tried Dea's via drive thru last weekend and it was delicious! I got chicken strips with onion rings and the onion rings have the smooth batter on them which I prefer. My husband got biscuits and gravy that was sooo yummy. We decided to try dining in this week and love the atmosphere. I had the mac and cheese which was a tad expensive for being mac and cheese, but it is homemade and was tasty. I'll try something different next time. read more

I'm giving 3 stars because I don't want you to think it's fancy. It's not. But it's clean, the food is really good and everything seems brand new. I'm eating in at the Lucky D's side with my son. My friend and I went here for lunch. We had both been here many times in the past and remembered it the as a clean and tasty place to eat. First, we both noticed that every table and chair or booth had crumbs on the table and on the seats. I dropped my napkin and left it there because the floor under our table had at least a week's worth of food remnants. The floor in the rest of the building was dirty too. Then the food came and the burgers were dry and mine fell apart while trying to pick it up. For some reason they cut it in half like it was a regular sandwich. I have been going to Dea's for 60 years, and until the new ownership it was my favorite place to go. We used to go there monthly, now 3-4 times a year. After April 19th never again. We were there yesterday April 19 at 1:00 pm for lunch. the bartender was discussing her tattoos with another customer and ignored us at first. They she came over a told us about her tatto's and where the next one would be. She say super animated as she talked about where all her tat's are located. I ordered a shot of Hornato's with a water back. My husband ordered a Makers Mark and 7up. The bartender poured me a pine glass of Hornato's tequila over ice with a straw. My husband got a pine glass of Maker's and a splash of 7up. I always have the cheeseburger no lettuce or tomato and my husband cheeseburger dry with grilled onions only. Both our burgers were wrong, I ate mine, my husband sent his back and was immediately given the same burger back with the sauce. When she was coming to serve our food initially she did not know where the food was supposed to go. She took it out to the only other table eating food. She turned around and stared trying to figure out where the food went. She saw us at the bar and brought or food. I asked her if she was high and she stared at me. She then went to the POS machine a stroked the front of her neck repeatedly. My husband when to the front bar and asked for a manager. The women working that bar came over with the now crying bartender and was trying to figure out what the orders were on the POS, I am assuming to get her out of there. I showed her our drink; she had no response. The bartender then asked me what we had. There were only 2 couples eating and we were one of them. I told her she should know. We were charged for my burger with zero apologies, the women from the other bar was rude as well. We called and talked to the kitchen manager, he was super nice and explained he couldn't give out the managers number but would have him call me. 24 hours later, we have heard nothing from them. We tried Dea's for the first time last night, I had been craving a cheeseburger and wanted to try Dea's for a little while now. We went through the drive thru as that is what's open with COVID going on. Ordered 2 Double Long Cheeseburgers and a small fry. The burgers were pretty good, reminded me of a place I used to go to as a kid. The price was just a bit more than I had expected. The food was decent, quite a bit of salt on the fries, but still satisfying. Really looking forward to trying one of the milkshakes. I had a review up here from the last time I came in. That was 12 years ago and the review was not good to say the least. Dea's has since renovated and is under new ownership. The entire building is updated and MUCH cleaner! Now on to the food! Well where do I start? The food is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Had a special they had going that was a Reuben sandwich and added Cajun tots. AMAZING! Also ordered a 1/2 pound of mango habanero wings. AMAZING!! I haven't been here for a few years but I had been a regular for almost 50 years. I had to try the long burger. I think it's the best one that I've had in a long time. Very much like the ones that I had when they were good. The staff is very nice and service was great. The remodel changed the atmosphere, but I think it is an improvement. The place is clean. The TV's are a great addition, and the seating is comfortable. All good, I will be putting them back into my rotation. read more

An older spot that is charming, but a little dated. Service is always fine and the food is consistently good. Fries are crisp and salty, burgers are always delicious. Their chicken strips are my favorite in the area as well. Me and my fiancee work late hours, and were looking for a place to grab a bite that was still open. This diner popped up on one of our searches and we decided to give it a shot rather than searching for any longer. First impressions were rough. It felt as if it was in the process of transitioning from "homey diner" to run down. The carpets and roof were stained and the booths have that cracked leather feel which could be taken either way. Not wanting to go back to searching, we sat down as there was no sign to indicate ordering at the counter. After sitting for several minutes without a menu or drinks, we eventually made our way to the counter to see what was up. We found most of the workers huddled in the back, which we just attributed to them not hearing us walk in on an otherwise quiet night. The menu is otherwise stock standard of any diner, with burgers, fries, and other diner favorites like chicken strips, fish and chips and more. Me and my fiancee both got chicken strips with a side of onion rings. I don't think I've ever had more obviously frozen deep fried food before. The onion rings had a hot batter but cold center. My husband and I recently had dinner at Dea's, it was late and very few places were open. We ordered and gambled, the food was decent, the service not bad. There was one other couple there gambling as well. When my husband turned in the $300 ticket from his machine he also asked for a to go box. Ally brought his $300, counted it out to him and then handed him his to go box. He had money in one hand box in the other, so he set down the money on the little table between the machines and cleared his remaining food into the box for.our dog who was in the car, and met me on my way out. Once we got home he had realized that he left that $300 sitting there. He returned the next day and was told they knew nothing about it but they could review the security footage the next day when a manager was there. He returned the next day and was told by the same server, Ally that the video didn't show who had picked up the money. We have been there several times trying to catch a manager or owner or somebody with authority and have had no luck. Left messages and have gotten no response. I ate there 2x a month for years. They have "redefined" themselves, and I don't like it at all. Inside, it's dark, not family friendly. Food is a little better than 3 months ago. Burger=acceptable. Fries = acceptable. But the restaurant was so cold that I froze - and my party agreed that it was WAY too cold. Wait staff was apathetic, and mostly ignored us.
