I came in on a Sunday at 12:40. They were a few tables and some people at the bar. I was seated right away but it took about 5 minutes before my server came over to ask if I wanted anything. I ordered the Miso soup which was delicious but took 15 minutes to come out which is long for a soup appetizer. I ordered the Alfredito roll when I received my soup. It wasn't served until 30 minutes after I arrived. (I was in the service industry for many years so I'm probably more sensitive to timing than most.) I will say the roll was fantastic! The taste was fresh, creamy with a hint of afterburn. The restaurant was clean, however, the music was a bit loud for Sunday lunch. I'll be back for the food and hopefully the service will be a little better as I see in other reviews it was good.

Great place! It's a Mexican-Japanese fusion restaurant with some interesting items on the menu. Inside is nice and the bar area looks cool. Our sever was awesome and so attentive. To start I ordered the New Dream martini, absolutely delicious! As an appetizer we ordered the spicy edamame, not as spicy as I wanted. It good flavor. My husband ordered the wagyu burger, he loves a good burger with mushrooms so this was a hit for him. I ordered sushi: tiger eye roll, 11:11 and the surf & turf. Really enjoyed my rolls, very fresh. The tiger eye roll was probably my favorite!

Wow, what an unexpected and delicious fusion! My husband surprised me with lunch here for our anniversary, and I have to admit--if someone had told me Latin fusion sushi was a thing, I would've been skeptical. But wow, was I pleasantly surprised! The bright hints of cilantro and lime blended beautifully with my favorite sushi flavors--it just worked. And a huge shoutout to Liz, who provided wonderful service from start to finish. She was friendly, attentive, and helped us navigate the menu with great recommendations. The special night and tuna tater tots were incredible! Liz brought the tuna served on a crispy tempura fried leaf that added a unique crunch. Total "wow" moment. The ambience was fantastic--modern, clean, and stylish without feeling crowded or noisy. It was calm and comfortable, making it the perfect setting for an enjoyable, relaxed lunch. Everything about this meal felt fun, unique, and full of flavor. A perfect anniversary surprise! Can't wait to go back and try more!

Came here on a Saturday with a group of 7 people. The spot is great for groups. They had 2 TVs showing college football. The food was phenomenal. Overall, I like the Mexican-Japanese fusion rolls. The ceviche roll was unique, hadn't seen it elsewhere on a menu. The service was also great! They threw in a celebratory dessert for my mother who we were celebrating for her birthday. There was another party also there for a birthday. Great spot, fresh take on sushi! Definitely worth a try!

Very clean dining room with a nice bar. Our waitress Liz was great. The Pork Buns were delicious and I could have honestly just ate them and been happy. We tired 4 different rolls which were well made and tasty. Although I don't think I would order the two I got again only because of my preference (didn't like the spicy tuna). I had the Lickety Roll and Milton Roll and am sure anyone who enjoys spicy tuna would love them.

Best Lunch Combo- nigiri, sashimi, and handroll.

Went on a Monday when it was slow, and there was still a decent amount of locals at the bar. So good to see regular customers. You know it's good I had the lunch best combo and it included miso soup, hand roll, sashimi, and nigiri. It was a lot of food! the waiter was so nice, he brought me out extra sauces to try. A very relaxing environment for a lunch. They also have 2 TVs at the bar if you want to watch a game or the Olympics there. I'll be back for lunch again soon.

The ambiance either at the bar or in a booth is super chill and cozy. Very clean. And the strawberry sake carafe is a sweet delightful drink, as is the truffle tuna is amazingly fresh! The smoked salmon pieces are the best my friend says she's ever had. I didn't care for the ceviche roll but only because I wasn't in the mood for how citrusy it was but if I were I would have liked it. Also the service is excellent!

Josefina made our 3 hour round-trip drive out to try this place so worth it! Ask for the "Tuna on Fire" not on the menu... the tots were also so fun. All 3 of our rolls (especially the Ceviche roll!) were so tasty. Josefina brought us her favorite spicy dipping sauce when she noticed we mostly ordered spicy things and MAN it was delicious. Truly a wonderful experience. Gorgeous cocktails too!

Out first visit here and everything was great. Absolutely fantastic service from Niko, all 3 rolls were fresh and delicious, and the manager was touching tables offered us a nice sauce to go with our rolls. 10/10 will be back.

I am a foodie from out of town, working local for a few days. it is hard to pick only a few meals while I'm here. The manager and staff were both friendly and professional. I was able to conveniently order and pay online, but the manager also made sure I could pick up my food with only three minutes left before they closed. He made sure my order was correct and presentation was still perfect even though I had to take my meal back to my hotel. This was a fantastic experience and I hope to come back again but eat inside the restaurant, as the ambience was just as warm and inviting as was the to-go service I received.

Why 5 stars? Because we pretty much loved everything. --- --- --- We heavily debated where we were going to for our debaucherous eating after a week of being super healthy. After much deliberation, we ultimately landed on Suxico, and we were extremely satisfied with our decision. There's no time to waste, let's get to what we ate: Side Salad: As good as a side salad gets. Zuzhi Bitez: Just a pinch of a kick to it, but everything I hoped it would be. Truffle Tuna Crudo: Maybe the purest, best thing we had. Ribeye Beef Rolls: The only thing I wouldn't need to order again. The beef had that specific after taste like it was lower quality. It was still a solid appetizer, but it was the only thing I didn't completely love. Toro Nigiri: Absolutely melted in your mouth. The only downside is that it didn't last long because of this! Kobe Beef Nigiri: I wasn't sure if I got a hint of that same taste as I did with the ribeye beef rolls, but the stuff that accompanied it made it really great. Wagyu Burger: We got this for our son, but I had to taste test it for him by eating half. You don't come to a sushi place to get a burger, but I have to say, this was one of my favorite things. Lobster Roll: No notes. An ideal sushi roll. Surf n Turf Roll: Of all the items with beef involved, this was the best. Oreo Tempura Crunch: We were stuffed, but I wished I'd never reached the end of this dish. I'll dream of it while I slumber. It's no wonder that Suxico has basically a perfect 5-star rating after it's first 20+ reviews. Our server was exceptional too. Thank you for hosting us and delivering a superb cheat day meal!

I've been to this place a few times now and it has always been fenomenal. The staff is awesome, super attentive and quick with everything. They are happy to accommodate your needs and know their offerings well. The place is good for big parties or a couples dinner. And the food is great. Everything from their starters to their rolls and sides is great.

Edamame was good, I wished it was a bit more garlicky. Other wise, still good.

I found a new gem, I went back twice in one week. I loved the service, food and ambiance.

The Maki lunch special comes with 2 rolls, soup and salad. The soups and salad were a generous side, definitely more than you'd would get with a bento box. The salad was fresh and had the usual creamy ginger Japanese dressing, delish. For the maki bowls, they were a nice size, and are actually the normal sized rolls you would get from the menu for a spicy salmon and eel roll. I thought for price would be simple hand rolls with just fish and rice and wrapper, but these had cucumber or avocado, sauces and nicely filled. Deliscious eel, spicy salmon had a surprisingly different delicious flavor to it and nice kick. For the spicy miso ramen, it's actually their original tonkotsu with miso and spiciness mixed in. The waitress recommended as the best flavor and although I haven't tried any of their others, it did have nice flavor. Creamy, with layers of flavor and a nice mouth feel that coated your tongue with umami. I am a spicy fanatic, so for me wasn't very spicy, but with chili oil available on the table I could increase the spicy profile. The nice thing here is the ramen toppings aren't all extra so a great deal. Came with chashu, 2 pieces, one on top had been fried with an excellent char and crunchiness to it, especially since the crunchy garlic was on top. Also for toppings were corn, bamboo shoots, nori, rice cakes, and half a boiled egg so no nickel and dime for toppings here . Fast and attentive service so if trying to get in and out on your lunch break, no problem. Quaint, small venue in shopping strip. Quiet though so nice to have conversation with your lunch date. I would recommend and definitely go again

I genuinely wanted to give this place five stars, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing overall. When we first arrived, there was nobody at the front to greet or seat us, and we waited several minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Service started off decent enough, but once our food arrived, it felt like we were completely forgotten. Nobody checked on our table afterward, we never received water refills, and our server was essentially unavailable for the rest of the meal. We were also seated next to an extremely loud party that was yelling throughout dinner. We wanted to request another table because it was disrupting the experience, but our server never returned to our section, so we never had the opportunity to ask. For a restaurant that presents itself as high caliber, I was surprised that management allowed such a disruptive atmosphere to continue. As for the food, the BBQ Pork Buns and Siu Mai were both very good. The award-winning Beef Rendang was easily the highlight of the meal and the best dish we ordered. Unfortunately, the Mee Goreng and Malaysian Fried Rice were major disappointments. Both dishes had an unpleasant smell and lacked flavor or seasoning, making them very unappetizing. Another issue was finding a bug on our table during dinner. I understand things can happen, but combined with everything else, it added to an already frustrating experience. We even wanted additional napkins, but again, our server never came back to check on us. Eventually, we became so frustrated waiting for service that we got up and paid the bill ourselves. Ironically, that was the moment our server finally reappeared. To make matters worse, gratuity appeared to already be added to the bill, which honestly did not feel deserved given the level of service we received. Overall, the BBQ Pork Buns and Beef Rendang were the only parts of the experience that saved the meal for us. It's disappointing because the restaurant itself is beautifully designed and has a great ambiance, which made us even more excited to try it. Unfortunately, the poor service and inconsistent food quality overshadowed what could have been a much better dining experience.

I have to use corporate speak for this because I don't want to detract from the dining experience, but ambience is loud. I don't know how you correct that. A lot of reviews have said Sushi Rebel is "romantic". I don't know what planet you're from or what time of day you are, but it's anything but. The place is full of Exxon and HP employees. That's not at all a bad thing, but it isn't romantic when adjacent tables of friends are talking about meetings and projects. If you DO work at a nearby business, it's a great place for dinner after work. Service could use some work. It was our anniversary. We noted it on the reservation and the confirmation. We weren't greeted as such nor was it ever acknowledged. I was looking for free dessert or anything, but some acknowledgment would make it nice. The server forgot our tea with dessert and one of the rolls that that was part of dinner. So, really nice place, but loud and not romantic. That being said, I'd still return.

And that's probably the main advantage of selecting this option. We came in with only an hour to spare, with last call being at 2:30 pm (despite the buffet running to 3 pm). But within 45 min we were done. The dishes came out reasonably quick. It's a 2 hour limit if you come earlier and can manage that much food. There's no sashimi. And the slices of sashimi on top of the rice that compose the nigiri are pretty thin. The hand rolls came out soggy which means they were sitting for a while. And they got a ton of rice inside each one. Lots of sauce too especially in the eel cucumber hand roll which I didn't care for as a result. The dragon roll and Conroe roll were both ok. Nothing special in terms of specialty rolls. Shrimp wontons look like crab Rangoon and the crab Rangoon looks like jalapeño poppers. I asked the waitress about this and she said they get that comment a lot. Hmmm. Just beware. Also the skin on them as well as the fried calamari tasted tough which I think usually is attributable to old oil. Not a big fan of the beef tataki or peppercorn tuna appetizers. They had a little kick to them but the flavor was off and the tataki was kind of tough. We were told the Yellowtail jalapeño appetizer is the same as the peppercorn tuna just different fish. So we passed. The mango salmon appetizer is salmon wrapped around a mango slice. Sounds ok but because they drench it in some sauce, it tasted kinda ick. Our order of coconut shrimp never came but we weren't disappointed as nothing through the meal wowed us and it was an afterthought order to fill us up before leaving. Tempura Fried Oreo is your chance to get a Fried Oreo if you've never had one. They come in a set of 3 but you can ask for just 1 if you're full or not a big desert person. Staff was friendly. And the place was pretty busy even late into the buffet hour. I think this place is Chinese owned. Heard a lot of staff speaking it mandarin and Cantonese. And "chi" actually means eat in Chinese ...
