Wow I am so stingy with my 5 stars but I had to give it to them! 5 stars because the food , drinks, and atmosphere was simply great and I couldn't ask for more. Came here with few girlfriends when we were in the area for a wack make up expo. We didn't have a place in mind but we were happy to ditch the expo and venture out for great food and drinks. My girlfriend recommended Suviche since she was there before and really raved about it. We all decided to go there and not drive around for hours being indecisive. The place is really unassuming...I loved the cute decor outside with the hanging seats and painting on the actual walls that reminded me of Wynwood walls. Very trendy and sophisticated at the same time. Our bartender was our server as well and he was awesome. Good lord I wish I remember his name! Writing this review months after really does not help. He gave us few recommendations and we also told him what kind of drink we were in the mood for. He made it perfectly and my absolute favorite was the ring of fire. It was a great balance of sweet, heat, and yet strong enough that you may only need 1 or 2 drink. Catching the happy hour specials on a Saturday afternoon was just icing on the cake. I believe it was half off drinks. We ordered the seafood ceviche, jalapeño roll, and shrimp with rice ....... I'm not sure of the exact name but it was very good. Everything was very tasty but I wished we ordered more ceviche since it was really a tease. I would try to make it at home but it sure does not come close. Okay so let me start off by saying this place is really nice, you can seat your self and waiters are very quick to come over . The bar area was popping and the music was a great mix I felt like I was in a lounge but not trashy . Drinks were subpar... I was watching the bartenders as I was sitting at my table and they didn't seem very interested in working One kept leaving the bar area to hug and kiss some guy I'm guessing a boy friend . But other then that the drinks weren't what I expected pisco sour , were just plain sour and didn't have a body as a pisco sour should . My waiter John was great !!! Suviche has become our frequent Happy Hour choice on a Friday evening. Their menu comes with great options and is very reasonable in price! We often will order 2-3 dishes with a few cocktails and don't spend anymore than $50. In Miami, and even more so Wynwood, this is a win/win! We typically don't come here expecting over the top service. As a matter of fact this past Friday was the first time we got a server who actually served us! I stayed at the hotel across the street so I actually went here twice during my stay. I am not a sushi person but my partner is. Visit 1 we ordered margaritas, he got two rolls of sushi and I got the shrimp fried rice. He was disappointed in the sushi feeling that it was expensive for the size (he said it would have been twice the size in Palm Beach). The rice was very good except the shrimp were tiny, like 400 in a lb tiny. I ate a few bites and he ate the rest. Two sushi rolls and 85% of the rice and he was finally full. The second time we stopped was on St Patrick's day late afternoon. We got the worst margaritas ever, they were awful (the bartender was a guy with sort of dreds). I ordered the Peruvian version on empanadas. They were good but cold when they arrived. We ordered a second round of drinks from a different bartender - I got a margarita and he got two mango Pisca specials. This bartender was much better. Worst sushi I've ever had. We waited an hour for two sushi rolls. I even had to go to the outside bar myself to get the lemon I asked for 3 times. My sushi was supposed to be tuna and salmon. There was no tuna and the salmon was minuscule. The biggest issue and what made the food inedible was the rice. It was mushy similar to oatmeal. My friend ordered a brown rice veggie roll. The roll only contained lettuce. That's all. The brown rice was both mushy and uncooked in some places. Hard, raw rice. We returned the food and left as soon as we could get out of there and went somewhere else to eat. Every part of my experience at this restaurant was negative. One of my favorite restaurants to eat at while in Miami. The outdoor seating is super cute in this location and the food is consistently great. We came on Thursday night and they had a live dj spinning tracks by the bar. The happy hour was going on and it was buy one drink get one free. Food we got the: bi color (natural and orange sauce), ceviche, Miami roll and the fried rice. Everything was sooo good, we inhaled our food very quickly. We always have a good time, delicious meal and cocktails at SuViche. The parking lot and back charge us five dollars, Street parking is metered and rare. We tried everything on the happy hour menu, the fish, potato, rice and sushi offerings were all amazing. We tried the crack pie which was warm and delicious for dessert. Andrea our waitress was on the mark. We love sitting outside on the swings watching Wynwood pass us by. I went this past saturday and i would say it was an okay experience. The atmosphere is really nice. Very boho chic. The waitress we had was nice. The downside for us was the food. The sushi was good, slightly smaller than what we are use to but still good. Unfortunately, my companion did not enjoy his food. It was some fried rice mixture with seafood and he did say that some part tasted fresh and some part didn't. My food was the fish with shrimp on top with rice. It was okay. I felt that the fish could have had some more seasoning so the flavors could be layered. Unfortunately, my companion left 90% of his plate untouched. Overall, a cute place to go and relax. I think they may be more well known for their ceviche. Nothing too memorable about the food we ordered. read more

The bartender at night at this place was super rude to us. He called us fucking customers" just because we asked him for a drink after sitting there for 15 minutes and he wasn't even doing anything ( there were only 4 other customers in the restaurant). When the "manager" showed up he didn't even care to ask what happened he told us to leave, because we got very upset with the way he yelled at us in front of everybody making us look like we were wrong! I don't want to ever come back here or bring my friends like I did tonight. If you want good customer services this is definitely not the right place. Go somewhere else!! Overall the place had a great vibe and fit in very well to Wynwood. I sat outside and the rope chair was a work out but comfortable and relaxing. We got there right after happy hour ended but they let us put in our order for happy hour which is moderately unique in Miami, and appreciated! Wow!! My friend and I were visiting Miami on a little vacation and we decided to come here because we were craving sushi! This place absolutely hit the spot. We were hoping to go somewhere that wasn't too expensive but was still classy and fun. This was totally the place! The food was incredible and our waitress was super helpful. We wanted to order an appetizer and our waitress suggested the Causa Saltado. This was by far the best dish we had on the whole trip. There were so many flavors that all went together so well! One of my favorite go to spots in wynwood. They have a great 2 for $10 cocktail happy hour and the drinks on regular price are not bad at all. On Wednesday's they do half priced wine bottles which is about $12 for a bottle! Luis our waiter was amazing, SO attentive and funny and really made our experience enjoyable. This resto served a fusion of Peruvian + Japanese cuisine. We had the shrimp and fish ceviche which was unbelievable. Very authentic and filled with citrus. On Tuesdays there is a sushi deal where you buy an 8piece role and get the second for 50%. We got the Perfection and Spicy Tuna roll. I wouldn't recommend the sushi. It was mushy on the inside and the Perfection roll tasted like they used packaged crab meat. For our main course, we ordered the Arroz chaufa which is a Peruvian take on Cantonese style rice. We ordered it with steak! It was awesome! The steak was tender and the rice was well-seasoned. Overall: grab an outdoor swing, order some ceviche and enjoy! read more

Tbh, I was a little skeptical as I had never tried ceviche or Peruvian/Japanese fusion. We tried the ceviche, some rolls, and drinks. The sushi rolls were good, nothing special. The ceviche was excellent. Fresh fish matched with the perfect amount of citrus, seasoned beautifully. The ballerina shot was my favorite drink I had while visiting Miami. We came to SuViche at lunch time. It was our first time and we didn't know what to expect. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with the variety of food, from Peruvian to Asian, the fusion works very well. We had some ceviche, and the "almost perfect" roll as appetizer and it was delicious. The fish was very fresh, and the spicy sauce they give on the side is to die for. I could eat that all day with anything. I ordered the arroz húmedo and my husband ordered the pescado macho. Both dishes were very well prepared and very tasty. I would love to come back to this place and try some other things in the menu. I recommend having their pisco sour as a drink, it was delicious!!!! The only complaint I would have would be the service, it can be slow at times, but the food makes up for it. read more

Being in the heart of Wynwood makes it an ideal spot to stop and grab a bite and take in some of the local Flavor and then get back to exploring the area! I have been here about 5 or 6 times and I love this place. The food is good. The ambience is great. Music is always playing. There is the option to sit inside, outside at tables, outside at the bar, or outside by the swings. I love love love the swings but not to eat. I went with my friend and we usually get a few things and share. We had the ceviche of white fish and the type was rocotto. It was soooo good and the sauce it came in was heavenly. After the fish was done we were just scooping up the sauce and drinking it. Next we had the cilantro roll which was very good and had a nice sauce on it. Next we had the lomo soltado which I have to get everytime I come here. I usually love it. This time I liked it but didn't love it because it was salty. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because of my drink. It was so weak and loaded with ice which watered down the drink. I got a crown royal with a splash of ginger ale and all I tasted was ginger ale. I didn't taste any liquor at all. When the drink came to the table my friend commented on how light the drink looked. I might of drank half of the drink if that. My friend also didn't like her drink either and struggled to find the liquor. We should have just sent the drinks back. I parked in the back (which I neverrrrr do) which is $10 which I thought was pretty ridicolous. Parking should be free for customers or at least cheaper than that. There's street parking really close by so that's no biggie. I was running late and my friend was waiting for me but next time I will find street parking. I absolutely love Suviche. As a Peruvian myself, it's not always easy to find a good Peruvian spot outside of Peru due to different ingredient availability and quality but Suviche has been a hit for me. Their happy hour is out of this world considering the location is in Miami where prices are typically astronomical. Every Sunday my boyfriend and I go to Suviche for lunch and order the small ceviche bowl which is perfect, as well as a couple of sushi rolls (We love the almost perfect roll). Their michelada is a great addition to the meal as well, since we go to the Brickell location which does not have a full bar. Jesus always takes care of us and has made the experience very enjoyable every time. We plan on going back every Sunday for lunch because we love the food, service, and happy hour prices that much.
