Suviche is a great spot! I typically order the same few things: arroz chaufa, quinoa salad, and tropical roll. The food is always delicious and the customer service is great. I especially like that when it's time to pay, the waiter/waitress brings over an iPad to complete payment. I feel like by the time you're ready for the check, you're typically ready to go. This process makes the check process speedy which is nice. My only real concerns are with the speed of the orders and takeout/delivery. The food comes out VERY fast. Although this is typically a good thing, it almost feels too fast. Personally, it makes me feel rushed and it also makes me question how fresh the food is that's being made. Quite frankly, I would like to feel more relaxed and enjoy my meal. Also, I order delivery quite often. There has never been a major issue but I find that there are typically small things missing (ex. Avocado from the salad) or there's lack of care/attention to detail (sushi falling apart, chicken slightly undercooked, etc.) Its frustrating when the quality isn't the same as when you are there. Overall, it really is a great spot. I hate writing negative comments but these are things I have noticed repeatedly. Suviche had an awesome environment and unique, delicious food! Would recommend! read more

My 2 favorite things are featured here ceviche and pisco sour. Yes, please! We stopped in for happy hour. Pulled around to rear for easy $5 parking. Ordered outside bar - mango (pisco) sour, crispy rice croquettes, almost perfect roll and ceviche. We loved it all. Plus the service was impeccable. read more

Best ceviche in Miami, but I always go with my favorite Peruvian dish - lomo saltado (tenderloin). Go with the spicy salmon roll if you want sushi. Great energy in the restaurant and friendly staff - highly recommend! read more

This place makes me happy. Everyone has taken care of us and our dog. The 7-day / week happy hour is great and a vacation from the overpriced sushi in Miami. The beer selection isn't huge but is well curated. With the permanently covered outdoor seating, swing chairs and mounted fans this place suits almost all weather conditions. Can't wait to go back. read more

Wow I am so stingy with my 5 stars but I had to give it to them! 5 stars because the food , drinks, and atmosphere was simply great and I couldn't ask for more. Came here with few girlfriends when we were in the area for a wack make up expo. We didn't have a place in mind but we were happy to ditch the expo and venture out for great food and drinks. My girlfriend recommended Suviche since she was there before and really raved about it. We all decided to go there and not drive around for hours being indecisive. The place is really unassuming...I loved the cute decor outside with the hanging seats and painting on the actual walls that reminded me of Wynwood walls. Very trendy and sophisticated at the same time. Our bartender was our server as well and he was awesome. Good lord I wish I remember his name! Writing this review months after really does not help. He gave us few recommendations and we also told him what kind of drink we were in the mood for. He made it perfectly and my absolute favorite was the ring of fire. It was a great balance of sweet, heat, and yet strong enough that you may only need 1 or 2 drink. Catching the happy hour specials on a Saturday afternoon was just icing on the cake. I believe it was half off drinks. We ordered the seafood ceviche, jalapeño roll, and shrimp with rice ....... I'm not sure of the exact name but it was very good. Everything was very tasty but I wished we ordered more ceviche since it was really a tease. I would try to make it at home but it sure does not come close. I can't wait to go back the next time we are in the Wynwood area. This place was definitely a winner. read more

Okay so let me start off by saying this place is really nice, you can seat your self and waiters are very quick to come over . The bar area was popping and the music was a great mix I felt like I was in a lounge but not trashy . Drinks were subpar... I was watching the bartenders as I was sitting at my table and they didn't seem very interested in working One kept leaving the bar area to hug and kiss some guy I'm guessing a boy friend . But other then that the drinks weren't what I expected pisco sour , were just plain sour and didn't have a body as a pisco sour should . My waiter John was great !!! Steak was super soft and the chocolate cake is to die for I'll be back next year when in Miami again ! read more

My gf loved the lychee pizco, happy hour ceviche was delicious, chaufa de carne was my favorite and perfection roll was my gfs favorite. It pains me to give Suviche three stars, but I honestly had such a mediocre experience last night. I been eyeing this place for a while since I LOVE good Peruvian food and it's a block away from my apartment. Cocktails: were tiny as hell, watery and came in a plastic cup....Not impressed. The blueberry thyme had no herbal flavor whatsoever and was bland. My friend's mango Thai drink was not all that great either. The spice was way to overpowering and was watery as well. Lomo saltado spring rolls: came out super fast which-was a plus...but they did not taste fresh and were really cold. I had higher expectations for this dish, since I read great reviews on it. I wouldn't try these again. Suvama ceviche: I don't think I ever had a ceviche this soupy/runny before! There were literally six little pieces of fish only and the rest was just soup. I had to ask for a spoon to eat it... Citrus fire roll: this roll was yummy! I actually enjoyed it, but my only complaint is that it's extremely TINY. The pieces were so small so it felt like I had a half-size order. Crack pie: was pretty delicious. I ordered it to-go and ended up eating the slice before I got out the door! Probably won't order this one too often because it is extremely sweet but still delicious. The restroom was pretty gross. No paper and was dirty...long line. I hear this place has a crazy good happy hour so maybe I'll give it a shot again in the future. I am hoping it was the post Art Basel craze that made my experience bleh. read more

SORRY SUVICHE - THIS IS MY FIRST 1-STAR REVIEW. A group of 6 of us came here about 30 minutes before closing time, and they were glad to seat us. There is a dining area inside and a bar/lounge area on the outside. The restaurant looks very modern and hip. There was a live DJ spinning outside. This review is based solely on our late-dinner experience. I ordered the seafood ceviche with the mexicano sauce. This plate consisted of pieces of avocado, raw fishes, and shrimp pieces. This was the worst ceviche I've ever eaten. If you look at my picture, you can clearly see that the pieces of fishes are leftover from the day. The fishes were NOT fresh. They were chewy and tasted old. The ceviche is very salty, which means it was really hard to eat it without balancing it out- Usually restaurants offer bread or chips with ceviche. Upon request, they did NOT have any chips or bread. So I had to eat the whole ceviche by itself as my entrée. On the other hand, the sauce "mexicano" was yummy. It had really good citrus flavors with mixture of onions and tomatoes. But nothing outstanding or special. I can get that from a taco truck in LA. Few people in my party ordered the lomo saltado since this is their most popular item. This dish was also disappointing. The sauce was OK, but the meat itself was not tender at all. It was so chewy and hard to eat. It comes with rice and fries which was nothing special or bad. Another item we tried was the chicken fried rice (arros chaufa with chicken). This dish wasn't bad, but it was not memorable at all. The portion was pretty small compared to the price you pay for simple chicken fried rice. Unfortunately, this mediocore entree was the best dish from all the food we ordered. WARNING: They added an 18% gratuity without notice when we got our check. I would not recommend anyone to go eat here, especially if you've tasted real, tasty Peruvian food before. My party and I were disappointed and surprised that this place has 4 stars on Yelp. This place, to me, is more fitting for a night out for drinking, instead of for quality food dinner. Save your money and eat somewhere else. read more

I stayed at the hotel across the street so I actually went here twice during my stay. I am not a sushi person but my partner is. Visit 1 we ordered margaritas, he got two rolls of sushi and I got the shrimp fried rice. He was disappointed in the sushi feeling that it was expensive for the size (he said it would have been twice the size in Palm Beach). The rice was very good except the shrimp were tiny, like 400 in a lb tiny. I ate a few bites and he ate the rest. Two sushi rolls and 85% of the rice and he was finally full. The second time we stopped was on St Patrick's day late afternoon. We got the worst margaritas ever, they were awful (the bartender was a guy with sort of dreds). I ordered the Peruvian version on empanadas. They were good but cold when they arrived. We ordered a second round of drinks from a different bartender - I got a margarita and he got two mango Pisca specials. This bartender was much better. It was close and about the most active place on the strip. read more

Canceled delivery order after half hour waiting without any explanation. No one ever picked up the phone. Horrible service.

Suviche has become our frequent Happy Hour choice on a Friday evening. Their menu comes with great options and is very reasonable in price! We often will order 2-3 dishes with a few cocktails and don't spend anymore than $50. In Miami, and even more so Wynwood, this is a win/win! We typically don't come here expecting over the top service. As a matter of fact this past Friday was the first time we got a server who actually served us! Laid out our plates, silverware and rearranged our table to make sure everything was comfortably placed for us. I wish I remembered his name, but I did thank him on the spot for that. Otherwise there's normally a chill vibe, live DJ and the cocktails and draft beers are delish! read more

Wow!! I came to this restaurant with another group, which ended up containing two Yelpers (Adrienne and Ian...hi guys). I had heard of this chain of restaurants, especially the one in Brickell but have never tried the food. This location, located in Wynwood right across from Pride and Joy serves Japanese/Peruvian fusion, and let me tell you the dishes were delicious. I had arrived earlier than everyone else as I got off earlier from work than I figured and had several pisco sours (happy hour duhhh), which is the national drink of Peru. These drinks are sour, hence the name; however, they pack a kick, if you know what I mean. They provide you with "cancha" as a snack. Now cancha is a Peruvian snack of fried corn kernels. If you thought pretzels were addictive, you need to try these. As an appetizer, I had the lomo saltado wontons (Asian influence in effect here) and they were delicious, with just the right bit of crunch. For my main course, I had the lomo saltado (you could get it with chicken, steak or seafood); I chose the steak saltado and it was just the perfect portion. All in all, it was a delicious meal and I'm a fan of Peruvian food, so thumbs up for this location. Next time I'll try the Brickell and South Beach location. read more

You might drive by this place and not think much of it, at least during the day... It looks like a small, old wooden house, and if it wasn't for the people seating outside you might not even think it's a restaurant but, because of my friends' check-ins, here on Yelp, I knew what Suviche was and how delicious they all say it is in their reviews. I was excited to try it. You walk in and you see the outside bar to your left and some really cool swings to your right, which added a fun and cute touch to the restaurant. It wasn't busy so we got our choice of inside or outside seating, we chose outside, looking up to the beautiful tree right in the middle of the outside area. Our server, a young and friendly guy, came to give me a bit of info. on the restaurant and menu (since it was my first time) and took our order. Started with the Miami Vice Roll (Tuna, Salmon, cucumber, and cream cheese sprinkled with chives and tempura flakes, with spicy mayo and avocado sauce). Amazing! Love the spicy mayo and avocado sauce combination, and the crunch of the tempura flakes - not too many like in other places. Then I had the Mixed Seafood Ceviche. You have several choices of sauces for your ceviche... I chose the Chifa (A Fusion of sweet and sour based from Suviche Peruvian Sauce, enhanced with teriyaki, pickled ginger, chopped avocado and sliced onion, then topped with fried wonton crisps). The explosion of flavors in your mouth is Incredible. The ginger comes out and the coolness of the avocado against the pickled flavor is a delightful combination. The bowl is filled with seafood. I kept finding more pieces in every bite I took, and it is so fresh. I definitely recommend trying it. To accompany it all, I saw they had Maracuyá (passion fruit) pisco sour and ordered one. It comes served in a steamless wine glass, passion fruit flavor comes out making it almost dangerous to drink, since they don't hold back on the pisco. Loved it! To end on a sweet note, dessert. Our server recommended the Suspiro Limeño, and since we've never tried it, decided on that. I know it had to be something with Meringue and I was right but, underneath the sweet soft meringue was the "manjar blanco" (dulce de leche), creamy and sweet. If you're looking for a casual, chill place with great, fresh food, this is the place for you. read more

I was pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. I expected an overpriced undervalued meal based on the overrated area of Wynwood, but I was wrong. A very hidden and cozy location with ample and unique seating. A friendly young crowd and the staff was professional, Jaysee was excellent. It's an open kitchen so you can see the chefs working on your meal while you enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. The prices are great considering the overrated neighborhood. The food was excellent! The parking situation isn't the best, but we managed. We didn't have room for dessert, but next time it's on! read more

Loved everything we ordered! The seafood udon noodles were the best I've ever had! Our server was amazing-wish I remembered her name.

Worst sushi I've ever had. We waited an hour for two sushi rolls. I even had to go to the outside bar myself to get the lemon I asked for 3 times. My sushi was supposed to be tuna and salmon. There was no tuna and the salmon was minuscule. The biggest issue and what made the food inedible was the rice. It was mushy similar to oatmeal. My friend ordered a brown rice veggie roll. The roll only contained lettuce. That's all. The brown rice was both mushy and uncooked in some places. Hard, raw rice. We returned the food and left as soon as we could get out of there and went somewhere else to eat. Every part of my experience at this restaurant was negative. The owners and management should really be embarrassed read more

One of my favorite restaurants to eat at while in Miami. The outdoor seating is super cute in this location and the food is consistently great. We came on Thursday night and they had a live dj spinning tracks by the bar. The happy hour was going on and it was buy one drink get one free. Food we got the: bi color (natural and orange sauce), ceviche, Miami roll and the fried rice. Everything was sooo good, we inhaled our food very quickly. The ambiance is really fun for date night or a going out with some friends. read more

My daughter loved her ceviche. My steak Saltado was disappointing. The steak wasn't tender and I guess I should have ordered something different as I am not the biggest fan of tons of protein. Love rice but the plate comes with french fries in addition? Talk about a carb load so I opted for the suggested side of avocado which was an upcharge of .95 for literally 4 thin slices. Maybe I'm too much of a Gringo to appreciate Venezuelan cuisine buy my first experience was non eventful. read more

Went here for dinner last night and I AM IN LOVE, people! Let me tell you about my love story... They have a little lot to park in behind the restaurant- which is about $5 avg- that is valet only. We were seated as soon as we arrived. The place was full but not the "annoying" type of packed where you have to walk sideways through the crowd. The ambience is great, very chill yet you can get dressed up with the girls. Next time I come here I'm hitting up their cute little bar and having some drinks! The pictures I took aren't that great because we were seated outside in dim-lighting. I didn't want to look like a basic that takes pictures of their food for Instagram so I took the pictures sans flash. :-/ I ordered the Lomo Salteado spring rolls, Mexican Ceviche, Fiji roll and Perfection roll, and the Madness chocolate cake. I LOVED EVERY SINGLE THING I ORDERED- except the chocolate cake. It was good, do not get me wrong, but not great. Next time I will try another dessert. The Lomo salteado spring rolls were delicious and crispy. The Mexican Ceviche was lemony heaven- it was diced fish drenched in a pool of lemon juice, avocado, red onions, tomatoes and deliciousness. I love when ceviche is extra lemony and this lived up to my expectations. It was great! I can't wait to go again so that I can eat this once again! The Fiji roll and perfection were roll were both delicious especially with their spicy mayo and eel sauce. The rolls were so simple and well made- I loved them! The service was great as well, our server was very friendly and attentive. I really look forward to coming back here soon! I am getting so hungry just thinking about it. I would definitely recommend SuViche. read more

Saboooor!!!! Guau! You haven't done WNWD right if you haven't come to SuViche. Attention to detail is flawless. Menu options are phenomenal. This is a fusion restaurant that tackles typical Peruvian foods and meets Japanese Cuisine. This fusion makes sense given the high Japanese community Peru has. I gotta be honest I usually avoid fusion restaurants. I'm a traditionalist at heart. The few that I've had have only strengthened my stance. However, SuViche made me reconsider. We were 10 in our group and ordered every sushi in the menu as appetizers, and the tuna tatakki. So I had a unique opportunity to try their stuff. They are not kidding when it comes to their sushi. The Miami one was my favorite. For the main course I had Lomo Saltado, because why not? That meat was so juicy I wasn't ready for it. I'm telling you, you need to do yourself a favor and go on your next date here. WORTH IT! read more

Disclaimer: This is not five star sushi, but rather a five star experience. I went for lunch to this restaurant, and from the moment you walk in, you start experiencing the atmosphere. Suviche offers an environment where you can truly chill, and enjoy, with music that still lets you have conversations, but a trendy setting that is perfect for a night out. But the great experience does not stop there. After you sit down you begin to experinece great service. Our server was very helpful at the moment of making decisions, and she was also very attentive to our needs. In addition the food came out crazy fast so if you are not in a rush, I would recommend not ordering all the dishes at the same time. And then came the food. As I mentioned in the disclaimer, the food was not the best I have had, but when you consider the food in combination with the items mentioned before it is a 5 star experience. Suviche offers Japanese Peruvian fusion dishes, and even though there are some classics in the menu, most dishes have a creative spin that make every dish a unique experience. In addition, something to consider is the price. Most of the dishes are around $10, and you can easily be satisfied with one dish and an appetizer, which makes this restaurant a cheap eat compared to other sushi restaurants. Overall, I recommend this place to anyone seeking either Peruvian or Japanese food, and are looking for a place where they can sit down and enjoy. read more

SuViche is a great place to visit for happy hour if you're in the Miami area! I came here for their pisco sours and had some appetizers such as seared ahi tuna and ceviche. Everything about this place makes my esophagus smile. I would say ordering appetizers and small sushi orders would be the best way to get to know what kinda feel they're going for. We were a huge party so everyone ordered something different. I picked at everyone's plate which varied from a majority of the sushi rolls which I can't recall but it was A LOT of plates. After that, I tried the suvama ceviche, a few bites of the Lomo Salteado, then the Manly Fish aka Pescado a lo macho. In between of all this, their adult version of Chicha with GUMMY BEARS kept me hydrated. Nobody loves gummy bears more than I do, except for maybe my dentist..(joke) well, I was honestly too stuffed for desert but I still ordered it. I was more focused on their awesome drink menu and have the desert responsibilities to my party to decide. I believe it was cherimoya.. Or guanabana? It was awesome? I ate it all and didn't share. On your way out, take a cute picture with the swings. It's totally a cute photo spot. Enjoy & more than anything...Cheers :) read more

I went this past saturday and i would say it was an okay experience. The atmosphere is really nice. Very boho chic. The waitress we had was nice. The downside for us was the food. The sushi was good, slightly smaller than what we are use to but still good. Unfortunately, my companion did not enjoy his food. It was some fried rice mixture with seafood and he did say that some part tasted fresh and some part didn't. My food was the fish with shrimp on top with rice. It was okay. I felt that the fish could have had some more seasoning so the flavors could be layered. Unfortunately, my companion left 90% of his plate untouched. Overall, a cute place to go and relax. I think they may be more well known for their ceviche. Nothing too memorable about the food we ordered. read more
