Ummmm. This place was okay compared to the other restaurants in the area. I was quite sicken by the fact that a UK Basketbal game was playing on all TV screens, but not the Uof L Bowl Game. UK fans are such haters! They never want to acknowledge the success of the Cardinals. Despite the fact of the massive UK Wildcat overload, the service was on point and I got the typical southern hospitality (Kentucky-style) I love. I will comeback because of the service. read more

Never heard of this place until recently so I thought we would have it for dinner. I got a toasted club sandwich and a pizza. The food was really good but our service was not. Our waitress kept forgetting our food or to put it in so we had to wait a little longer than normal to eat. I would recommend trying the sandwiches over the pizza, I thought the sandwich was a lot better than the pizza I had. Overall I would go back. Please please save your money if you're ordering Gluten Free food from here. They don't have all that they post as "gf". What you get is VERY overpriced for the tasteless pasta dish you get. The whole portions are off! Especially pick up. Sad. read more

Went with my family and after being seated for ten minutes with no one checking on us or even taking drink orders, we left. I let someone know at the reception desk, but they didn't even seem to care. It's disappointing because they have good food. Sampler appetizer was great, especially the meatballs. Lasagna and baked spaghetti were both delicious.

Great Ambience !! Love it the children were not loud they had old time bluesy jazz playing in background. My favorite appetizer is the calamari with lobster dipping sauce. They had a great selection of Tequilas I got 1800 Respasado with my meal , and a HEFTY pour at that! Yeah! For Me! Thank you barkeep! Good tip in store for You! It was ok...my hotel said it was a must try....my daughter loved her shrimp....I ordered the seafood pasta to me it was bland even with salt...My waiter had a attitude and wasn't very friendly....despite this all the other staff were smiling and nice...the restaurant was very clean. The chicken parm here is pretty good and the portions and the menu has gotten better over time. I just wish they had angel hair pasta. It's better than regular spaghetti any day but I know harder to keep in the back all day. Owner is very nice although young management kinda aloof and not very personable. My business frequently has business lunches and orders carry-out from Suttons. Their Pepperoni Pups are great. Calamari comes with some amazing dipping sauce and fried banana peppers. (I order this every time) Cesar Salad has never been disappointing but it's salad, can't really mess that up. Their bread is good (finally a place that serves wheat bread instead of white) but the oil/spices they give with the bread tastes just like bland olive oil. Really not that great but eh, it's oil. Having had to drop my daughter some things off for school late the other night we found ourselves hunting for dinner. I was sort of craving steak but really Italian. There were few places open that late, 10 but thanks to Yelp I found they were open and pulled in. My wife and I split the ribeye (very good), the mussels appetizer (best I've had better than Carraba's which had been my favorite) and the tiramisu (very good). My friends and I go to Sutton's quite often and are never disappointed. All of their food is amazing! My favorite is the chicken Parmesan with half marinara and half alfredo. Very heavy but amazing! Holy cow after a crazy journey of rescuing our girls stranded car in Waynesville NC we did our best to make it a fun return home...as a gotta pull off and eat we stumbled across Sutton's. ..great little place with a great parking lot for our trailer. Was the most wonderful restaurant experience ever. Our waitress Alexess was awesome....flathead pizza out of this world and STRAWBERRY MOUSSE! !!! WHAT!! Went there for the first time ever today. Loved the overall atmosphere of the place and the Big Band music playing. The entire staff seemed very happy, friendly, and in a great mood. We were seated and had NO clue what we wanted because EVERYTHING looked great on the menu. Our server, Rodney, recommended a dish for my fiancé and a dish for me. She got the Manzo Pasta and I got the Chicken Parmesan half red half white and we got the pepperoni pups as an appetizer. While we were waiting on our food, Rodney was a delight and ALWAYS kept our drinks refilled without us needing to ask. Once we got our food, we dove right in. We were surprised at how large the portions were for what we were paying. Not only that, they were absolutely delicious! Rodney was the perfect server. Didn't bother us while we were eating, always showed up at the right time, always had something witty and funny to say, and always had a smile. DEFINITELY gonna go back to Sutton's soon. We we had guests in and we ordered a pan lasagna and garlic bread. I was excited and lasagna looked good but it was fair at best. I was hoping the next day it would be better...nope I actually had a piece took two bites and trashed it. Maybe that is why we had a lot left over. I read some of the review ls from my Yelp group and was excited to try this place. I was really disappointed. The place was leaking. Yes that's right Leaking. My steak was awful, Mac and cheese was instant and my sweet potato fries were burnt. This place will close soon enough. I will never go back. Sutton's caters, too. They recently catered an event that I attended. The salad appeared to have been made a day earlier, and tasted like it, not at all fresh. I question if that grated cheddar cheese came from a bag. The alleged bourbon chicken was dry and tasteless, served over a bed of a fried rice like looking dish. The pasta "Giovanni", penne with sundried tomatoes, olives and mushrooms (canned?) was awful. The pasta sat it in a pool of oil, and I tried to serve myself from the top of the platter. It was impossible to avoid the overabundance of oil. I like olive oil (if that's what it was) as much as any Italian but this was soaked in it. The bread pudding was like no other that I've ever seen, pancake flat and not worth more than a bite. I was sick to my stomach into the net day. I can never comprehend how restaurants are so audacious as to put out food of this poor quality. I Sutton's is Italian, it's at its worst. read more

What a great find! We had considered Suttons before because they seemed to be the only restaurant in this town that stays open past sunset. We were so pleasantly surprised by our 1st visit there. It is very comfortable and has the type of service you hope you'll get when eating out. Our server was Paul and he was perfect. Told us about the dishes he thought we'd like, not pushy & did not rush us . He brought us two drinks that totally lived up to what a drink should be. They are not afraid of using alcohol. Next, he brought 2 dishes of wonderfully cooked food that showed it had been done with real care. Seafood was as fresh as the coast ,the sauce was exactly right. Sutton's was recommended to me by a coworker as a nice place with reasonable prices that also delivered so I decided to give it a shot. A friend of mine that lives in Lexington recently had a loss in her family so I wanted to send some food so she wouldn't have to worry about cooking. I'm so glad I chose Sutton's. While I can't speak on behalf of the food, the customer service was wonderful! I worked with multiple people and they were all so helpful with the menu, payment options, as well as delivery times.
