They were generous with the fillings, and everything played well with each other. The one thing I didn't care about the omelette was the fact that it was made with American cheese. I love American cheese on a burger, but in an omelette, it just doesn't do it for me. To me, in an omelette, American cheese, kind of overtakes the flavor of everything, including the delicate flavor of the eggs. It was OK, I should've asked what type of cheese they used. Mixing it didn't really help either and the foam curdled a bit and I ended up not really being able to taste the lavender because it got overwhelmed by the cold brew. And even a casino. Our drive took us on Route 16 that cuts through the small but mighty town of Esparso, CA. Population of about 3500. Hog Canyon Cafe sits right on Route 16 in the town.
