We came here around 7:30pm on a Thursday and it was about a 45 minute wait which actually ended up being 30 minutes. The parking lot was small and it was definitely limited since there was a CVS in the plaza. Definitely carpool here if you can help it. There were a lot of people and it was pretty busy. It was also low-lighting inside so might be hard for so.e to see the menu. Their happy hour menu was from 2pm to closing which was nice. We ordered from the happy hour menu and the regular menu a lot of food. We ordered the Super Sake Bomber, Miso Soup, Spicy Garlic Edamame, Gyoza, Monkey Brain, Tuna Sushi, Salmon Sushi, Crunchy Roll, Spoon Sampler, Chicken Teriyaki, Hamachi Kama, the 8 Piece Sushi with California Roll, First Love Roll, Guilty Pleasure Roll, and Snow White Roll. A lot of the food came out slowly but at a good rate. The Miso Soup was good and much needed for a really chilly day. The Monkey Brain was good, the Gyoza was not bad, the Tuna and Salmon Sushi were good, and the Spoon Sampler was delicious. I would say that was a nice surprise and would recommend the Spoon Sampler. The Crunchy Roll, the First Love Roll, the Guilty Pleasure Roll, and the Snow White Roll were delicious and can't go wrong with any of those. I was staying at a local resort/spa and felt the food wasn't that great for the price, so my husband and I checked restaurants close by and decided to get sushi. As soon as we walked in, Sep greeted us and asked if we had been there before. When we said it was our first time, he asked if we would like for him to choose for us. Not an adventurous person by nature, I was a little apprehensive. However, I figured since we don't have any food allergies, why not? The best decision I have ever made! Several courses, two bottles of sake and a bottle of wine later, I was nearly broke and regretted NOTHING! Sep is phenomenal. His passion for food is contagious. It was so much fun that when another couple and their adult daughter sat next to us, we encouraged them to let Sep take care of them too. They kept thanking us because Sep is some kind of sushi crystal ball and knows exactly what you'll like. Anyway, I'm currently searching for a second job to fund my new addiction and Sep is invited to all future family holidays. Hopefully he'll brings some sushi! This may be the best kept happy hour sushi secret in town. We decided to pop in after browsing a few shops and were seated right away. It was busy but we didn't have to wait... and even though we walked right by it, I totally missed the patio seating, would have been perfect for this cooler weather! Right away we realized we hit the jackpot with happy hour (2pm to close!). I cannot remember the last time I had amazing sushi and my bill was less than $50. With a TON of rolls. The yellowtail was amazing, shrimp was amazing, rainbow roll, chefs kiss, and my friend had two shrimp tempura crunchy rolls because the first one was so good she needed another. Great, attentive service. We sat towards the back corner and it was a perfect catch up spot. Not too loud but not so quiet others could eavesdrop. I came here with a group a few months back, mid November, for a friend's birthday. My friend made a reservation for 5 people for her husband's birthday and thank goodness she did because it was super busy! I have never been here before so wasn't sure what to expect. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable. He noticed one of the tables was wobbly and fixed it right away for us. We got our drink orders in pretty quickly and food orders in right after that! My order: Green apple sake (I think) Spoon sampler 5/5 Yellowtail grapefruit 5/5 Yellowtail scallion 5/5 Uni nigiri 5/5 Besides the fact that they didn't have a cocktail menu, everything else was a 5/5 rating overall. I didn't expect the portions to be so big. They do not skimp on the fish slices. Even the yellowtail scallion roll was larger than other places. I was pretty full and didn't even finish all the spoons. The spoon sampler included the yellowtail grapefruit, kiwi salmon & white tuna orange. Highly recommend this! I should've ordered 2 of these or one of these and something other than a whole yellowtail grapefruit. It was good but I just like to have a variety. The yellowtail scallion is a basic roll but it's the only basic roll I like. I love uni so of course I had to order that! Everything was fresh and delicious! My bill was about $80-90. Love this place. It's become my favorite sushi spot. Some others that compete (and sometimes beat....) prices are so high in comparison that for me there is no comparison. SH is the best. The lunch specials are out of this world. So far I've had the Philly, Cali, Rainbow, Alaska, Arizona, Tootsie, yellowtail and salmon. As well as the bento box. Everything I've had has been very good. My favorite is the Alaska Roll(spicy crab, avocado, cucumber inside/salmon on top). My son loves the Tootsie(it's basically a cali crunch plus shrimp inside and eel sauce on top). I also tried his fried calamari, it was very good. I just took my parents and my dad said the gyoza were the best he's ever had. They are the fried, fully crispy kind. The atmosphere is nice. Modern. Clean. It does get busy for lunch and is one of those places that can get very loud, but that's my only critique. The water is filtered and actually tastes good. In general service is very good. Fast. But one of the servers is so sweet and always remembers us. read more

A great happy hour find! With their happy hour from 2pm-close, it's rare to see a restaurant do happy for as long as Sushiholic does. There's a lot of choices and options to choose from. The happy hour menu has a wide selection and if you can't find anything on that, the main menu has a ton too! Everything we ordered came out really fast, even though it was a little busy. The rolls were delicious and there was a nice filling to rice ratio. Some of the rice wasn't packed as tight as it could have been and would fall apart when trying to pick it up. The nigiri was ok. The pieces are large but a little too long and cut a bit thin and uneven. The rice would also fall apart so I would end up having to eat the fish first and then chunks of the rice after, instead of being able to enjoy the piece in one bite. Service was great. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Will have to come back and try a few other items. No fault of the restaurant but parking is limited and I had to drive around for 5 minutes until a space opened up. read more

I had the best experience at Sushiholic. Imagine sitting at your table then a culinary expert comes over with the warmest welcome and you say this is your first time eating here. He then tells you about his background and shares that he could curate your meal. By the passion he exuded you have no choice but to say yes then end up have the most amazing sushi experience you've ever had. I will return in a heartbeat. I live on the complete opposite side of town, but the experience is definitely worth it. Make sure you ask for Sep if you're interested in an amazing palatable experience. We were seated very quickly. This was a Saturday afternoon, well mid afternoon to be more exact. Our server was friendly enough, but really not engaging . We kind of struggled with the menu on our own for a while before she came over and checked in with us. You place your order through the order card, if there were no customizations to the order that would have been fine. However, my friend had certain request and an order card did not facilitate that. But when the survey did arrive, she did take down the customizations and reviewed options. The food came out really fast as well, and everything tasted super fresh so as far as the food goes, it was good. The only thing I did not like was that me, and my friend had ordered separate entrées, and she had her is customize, and as you can see from the pictures, they literally just put all of our rolls on one plate so we had to kind of figure out you know which was hers, which was mine so that was a little bit odd. The location was of a shopping plaza & inside was all contemporary decor. I wasn't thrilled with the inside because of the seating, the booth to chair ratio, was off. I could see that on a busy night they're being little to any personal space when seated which could be little bit of a problem for me. I did like that they do offer a call ahead seating or schedule ahead seating so that's always a plus. I got a glass of riesling and it tasted like apple juice with seltzer in , but I ended up with a little bit at the end of the night so not gonna complain lol read more

For food, we got miso soup, a salad, spicy tuna rolls, Las Vegas roll, and a sunset roll. I never recieved my food, and when she finally came over to see if we needed the bill, she was not apologetic whatsoever and did nothing to help the situation. I am very impressed with this sushi restaurant. The staff is great and friendly. They really do pay attention to your table when you need water refills. We came when they had a happy hour menu with a small discount on select items. The Rock Shrimp was a surprising hit, I couldn't stop eating it and the Sweet Chili Chicken was great too. When it comes to freshness it wasn't up to my standards but for those looking for ambiance and a place that is cost-effective, you might just like it. I went for the lunch special and had the soup and salad. It was just ok. I like the fish to speak for itself. My lunch was mediocre. The soup was rather lacking on flavor and the salad was a little watery. Our sushi was just ok, here. The nigiri was not the best but the standard sushi worked enough to fill our appetites.
