So, our "go to" place was closing earlier than expected and we still wanted Sushi. I had book marked this restaurant and it was only 7 minutes away and they were open till midnight. This was perfect, as we didn't want to feel rushed. Yet, we were literally thinking this place wouldn't meet our expectations since we hold the other location to such a high standard, but wanted to give this joint a shot regardless. Arrived to a nice open dining room. Wasn't too busy at this hour, so kinda perfect for being first timers. Their front hostess station does have a few notations to take notice of when coming in-like: you can't seat yourself at the bar and no dogs allowed. That said, we were greeted promptly and taken to a table (party of 3) Our server arrived and got our drink orders in. It was reverse happy hour or should I just say- just happy hour 'cause everyday after 2 PM till close (midnight) it always is! That's an impressive plus and made our experience off to a fantastic start. Appetizers- Spicy Garlic Edamame and the Tempura Fried Calamari. Both were better than our usual scene. So, a little taken aback even by that. Rolls- Spicy Crunch Tuna Roll, Las Vegas Roll, Rainbow Roll & Second Climax Roll. ALL were excellent! However, the stand outs were the Rainbow & Second Climax. They made the Climax (upon request) extra spicy for us & we truthfully could have done this one, one more time. LOL The menu has a wonderful variety including noodles, Katsu Chicken, combo plates, soups & sides. Service was great. Our staff member was attentive and friendly. Our requests were met with a willingness and enthusiasm. Definitely will be back to explore more of their menu and try some other combinations since they accommodate their guest just as well as our staple spot. They exceeded our expectations and we honestly didn't think we'd find a place better than the one we never defer from, but they did challenge that! Food was fresh, delicious and promptly served. Excellent choice for sushi that's affordable and bussin!
Fresh, delicious sushi. We also got the four season roll but asked to remove the wasabi and it was delicious. Sapporo was thoroughly cold. We went on a Tuesday at 2 pm and it was a very peaceful, relaxing meal. Great, friendly service. Clean bathroom. Parking may get tight during a rush hour, but easy to find and easy parking during our time. Can't wait to come back
Was meeting friends on this side of town & went out of our normal & tried this spot. Sat at the bar. Staff was friendly & attentive. The sushi was so delicious, definitely in my top 5 places in the greater phoenix area. Food came out in a timely manner & the atmosphere was welcoming & overall a great vibe.
We came here for lunch on a Saturday and we were seated immediately. The staff was nice and our server checked up on us multiple times. We came here at 2 PM, and luckily we just made their happy hour! They have happy hour starting from 2PM - close, so we definitely took advantage and ordered a few rolls on that menu. The sushi was decent, you can definitely tell the different between the happy hour rolls and the specialty rolls. However, the food came out fairly quickly and we left satisfied with our lunch.
This is a great place to come with friends. They have options for sushi not lovers as well! Service was good. He was attentive! I always love their rolls to share with friends.
One of my favorite sushi places in AZ. It's a great price and also quality food. The restaurant had a lot of seating so there's never more than a 15 minute wait (in my experience). The rolls are so creative. The service is good and they are all really nice. Good lighting and comfy booths! Love this place! We got the chicken fried rice (huge portion), second climax roll (my fav), Las Vegas roll (classic), and I don't remember the 3rd one . All so yummy!
I'm a big fan of sushi and udon, and this place didn't disappoint me at all. I went there right before the busy lunch time and that was the right decision because this place could be very crowded and that can tell you a lot how good this sushi place is. Lunch menu offers a great deal, good options and reasonably priced. I ordered udon which came with the spicy tuna rolls and it's absolutely delicious. I ended up order another salmon rolls and it's really amazing! The food here is very fantastic, the service is excellent - that's all I needed ! The restaurant is open space indoor only, they have low or high tables, the long table for a big groups, or the counter sushi area as your choices. I'm so happy that I found my new favorite sushi restaurant. There are a lot of menu that I would like to try, and yes, I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a sushi and udon. For me, I know I will come back for more!
Wow! What a disappointment. This is not legit sushi. Stay away! The rice was hard and dry. The quality of the fish were not fresh. I would not recommend here. One of the rolls I got, might have been a dynamite roll, was soggy. They kept falling apart. Service was good. That's the one star!
Really good! Great prices. EXCEPTIONAL service. Happy hour with liberal hours. Three of us ate for like $60 wow!
Average compared to other places from where I'm from regarding quality but then again the target audience seems to cater to the younger crowd hence the all day HH menu which wasn't too bad. It met my needs on this 115F day. Service was fast at 4:45 on a weekday.
A girl friend and I were craving some sushi and were looking for a spot in Arcadia that had a good happy hour and Sushiholic fit the bill. We were warmly greeted by the hostess and were immediately seated. Our server did a great job walking us through the menu and was quick to get us our drinks. We loved the large happy hour menu and the variety of drinks, appetizers and sushi options. We order 4 glasses of Sauvignon Blanc, crab puffs, gyoza, and garlic edamame, and 4 sushi rolls (2 california rolls, Tootsie Roll, and Shrimp Tempura). Our bill came out to $90 for everything-such a good deal. Food was tasty, service was great and the resturant was clean. We will soon become regulars here.
Fantastic place to get sushi. I've been here two times and both were great experiences. They have lots of seating so typically there's not a wait. Service is prompt and friendly. The fish tastes fresh and they have tons of rolls to choose from. They also have great happy hour deals that can't be beat!

Really enjoyed this place , sushi was very flavorful and fresh , service was 10/10, my only negative was the dust on the ceiling I couldn't get over it , seemed like it could fall over the table , but overall the sushi was excellent ! I'm sure the cleaning part can be easily fixed ! read more

the happy hour was super fire. me and girlfriend ate 4 rolls of sushi and edamame and miso soup honestly was really good. they put us on to a crab + shrimp roll with eel sauce and i would give this a 10/10. the service was fast and the vibe was super calm it was an enjoyable experience overall and the price was pretty good during their happy hour. read more
Seriously the best sushi I have ever had! I was looking for really amazing sushi for my birthday dinner, and I saw that this place had lots of reviews and they were all great. Well, they were right! Every roll was amazing, and so delicious. It was also very fresh and premium fish. We got a Caterpillar roll, Cherry Blossom roll, Baked Lobster roll, Snow White roll, Guilty Pleasure roll, and Climax roll. Most of their rolls have spicy tuna and/or spicy mayo, wasabi mayo, jalapenos, etc. and I was worried it would be too spicy but it was the perfect level of heat mixed with flavor and sweetness. I enjoyed every single one of these rolls! We also tried the Sweet Chili Chicken and the Rock Shrimp, and both were outstanding. We took extras home for another meal with white rice. It was perfect. Sep was our server and he was the best! Very attentive, very pleasant, and made the experience very nice and easy. We will be back for sure! read more

I came here with a group a few months back, mid November, for a friend's birthday. My friend made a reservation for 5 people for her husband's birthday and thank goodness she did because it was super busy! I have never been here before so wasn't sure what to expect. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable. He noticed one of the tables was wobbly and fixed it right away for us. We got our drink orders in pretty quickly and food orders in right after that! My order: Green apple sake (I think) Spoon sampler 5/5 Yellowtail grapefruit 5/5 Yellowtail scallion 5/5 Uni nigiri 5/5 Besides the fact that they didn't have a cocktail menu, everything else was a 5/5 rating overall. I didn't expect the portions to be so big. They do not skimp on the fish slices. Even the yellowtail scallion roll was larger than other places. I was pretty full and didn't even finish all the spoons. The spoon sampler included the yellowtail grapefruit, kiwi salmon & white tuna orange. Highly recommend this! I should've ordered 2 of these or one of these and something other than a whole yellowtail grapefruit. It was good but I just like to have a variety. The yellowtail scallion is a basic roll but it's the only basic roll I like. I love uni so of course I had to order that! Everything was fresh and delicious! My bill was about $80-90. Lil pricy but the portion sizes made up for it. Won't go often but will be back again some time read more

The food and service were amazing! There was not a single thing that we ordered that we didn't like. Our server recommended that we tried their sampler plate and I was so glad that we did because OMG it was good. The fruit paired with the sashimi tasted fresh, delicious, and had a slight sweetness to it. We came during happy hour and we were very happy at the end of this hour, definitely felt like a sushi Holic at the end because I couldn't get enough! read more
We ordered many items : Yakisoba, baked Lobster Roll, Climax Roll, Fresh Wasabi, Rainbow Roll, & Shrimp Tempura. I feel like fresh wasabi is a delicacy and I always enjoy it. The lobster roll was good. There was healthy amount of lobster on top of the roll. The yakisoba was a family fav. Everyone enjoyed. The climax and rainbow roll had fresh fish. There is a long wait even if you sign up on the Yelp waitlist. I believe we waited 45 minutes after arriving which is hard to keep a toddler occupied when it is dinner time. Nice restaurant of decent size. There are two sides to the restaurant the main dining room and the bar side. We sat in the back of the bar side with really dim lighting. read more

1. The food was incredible. 2. The service was amazing. 3. The ambience...I wasn't even paying attention because 1 and 2 were so outstanding. I was staying at a local resort/spa and felt the food wasn't that great for the price, so my husband and I checked restaurants close by and decided to get sushi. As soon as we walked in, Sep greeted us and asked if we had been there before. When we said it was our first time, he asked if we would like for him to choose for us. Not an adventurous person by nature, I was a little apprehensive. However, I figured since we don't have any food allergies, why not? The best decision I have ever made! Several courses, two bottles of sake and a bottle of wine later, I was nearly broke and regretted NOTHING! Sep is phenomenal. His passion for food is contagious. It was so much fun that when another couple and their adult daughter sat next to us, we encouraged them to let Sep take care of them too. They kept thanking us because Sep is some kind of sushi crystal ball and knows exactly what you'll like. Anyway, I'm currently searching for a second job to fund my new addiction and Sep is invited to all future family holidays. Hopefully he'll brings some sushi! Note: I don't remember the names of any of these things. Ask Sep. Sorry! I forgot to write it down, too busy enjoying the food and waiting for Sep's next surprise. read more

We came during happy hour and it was delicious. Tried the chili chicken, karage chicken, garlic edamame, miso, cucumber salad calamari tempura, shrimp tempura crunch roll, spicy tuna roll, avocado roll. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. Restaurant was clean and service was good. No complaints and will be back! read more
A great happy hour find! With their happy hour from 2pm-close, it's rare to see a restaurant do happy for as long as Sushiholic does. There's a lot of choices and options to choose from. The happy hour menu has a wide selection and if you can't find anything on that, the main menu has a ton too! Everything we ordered came out really fast, even though it was a little busy. The rolls were delicious and there was a nice filling to rice ratio. Some of the rice wasn't packed as tight as it could have been and would fall apart when trying to pick it up. The nigiri was ok. The pieces are large but a little too long and cut a bit thin and uneven. The rice would also fall apart so I would end up having to eat the fish first and then chunks of the rice after, instead of being able to enjoy the piece in one bite. Service was great. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Will have to come back and try a few other items. No fault of the restaurant but parking is limited and I had to drive around for 5 minutes until a space opened up. read more
I had the best experience at Sushiholic. Imagine sitting at your table then a culinary expert comes over with the warmest welcome and you say this is your first time eating here. He then tells you about his background and shares that he could curate your meal. By the passion he exuded you have no choice but to say yes then end up have the most amazing sushi experience you've ever had. I will return in a heartbeat. I live on the complete opposite side of town, but the experience is definitely worth it. Make sure you ask for Sep if you're interested in an amazing palatable experience. The only items not pictured is the spicy garlic edame, which was a nice starter. read more

Please wait to be seated. Was seated quickly. Nice menu options and the lunch menu for $13.95 was quite filling. The restaurant had a quaint Japanese flair. Not too noisy with courteous wait staff. Glad we stopped in. read more

Ive never seen this on a menu anywhere else and make a special trip to Sushiholic in Arcadia driving past dozens of closer and more convenient sushi restaurants as the atmosphere, menu options, vibe and ambience I find at Sushiholic in Arcadia has yet to be replicated elsewhere! read more

Wow wow wow! Incredible sushi for a great price. The rolls, the appetizers, everything is fantastic quality, delicious, and the chef can make custom items!! The service is fast and the chef is often out serving and preparing unique meals for diners. The ambiance is bustling but quiet enough for a nice time and conversation. Has to be a contender for best sushi in Phoenix. read more

We were seated very quickly. This was a Saturday afternoon, well mid afternoon to be more exact. Our server was friendly enough, but really not engaging . We kind of struggled with the menu on our own for a while before she came over and checked in with us. You place your order through the order card, if there were no customizations to the order that would have been fine. However, my friend had certain request and an order card did not facilitate that. But when the survey did arrive, she did take down the customizations and reviewed options. The food came out really fast as well, and everything tasted super fresh so as far as the food goes, it was good. The only thing I did not like was that me, and my friend had ordered separate entrées, and she had her is customize, and as you can see from the pictures, they literally just put all of our rolls on one plate so we had to kind of figure out you know which was hers, which was mine so that was a little bit odd. The location was of a shopping plaza & inside was all contemporary decor. I wasn't thrilled with the inside because of the seating, the booth to chair ratio, was off. I could see that on a busy night they're being little to any personal space when seated which could be little bit of a problem for me. I did like that they do offer a call ahead seating or schedule ahead seating so that's always a plus. I got a glass of riesling and it tasted like apple juice with seltzer in , but I ended up with a little bit at the end of the night so not gonna complain lol read more

Excellent sushi! A friend and I came here today. Happy hour starts at 2 pm until close every day. We ordered hot sake and Kirin to drink. For food, we got miso soup, a salad, spicy tuna rolls, Las Vegas roll, and a sunset roll. Sunset rolls are my favorite -- lemon, salmon and fish eggs sit atop a roll with crab mix, avocado and cucumber. The fish was fresh and tasted delicious. Service was good. The restaurant is casual and got very busy by the time we left around 7 pm. I highly recommend the food here and will certainly be back when I need sushi in my life again. read more

Lunch at Sushiholic was a mixed bag. While the sake was hot and sushi was fresh, the flavors were fairly standard and the 30-minute wait for the lunch special detracted from the experience. Our server, however, was outstanding. read more

I am very impressed with this sushi restaurant. The staff is great and friendly. They really do pay attention to your table when you need water refills. We came when they had a happy hour menu with a small discount on select items. The Rock Shrimp was a surprising hit, I couldn't stop eating it and the Sweet Chili Chicken was great too. The sushi was really good and came out relatively quickly compared to other sushi restaurants. The presentation was pretty as well. Would definitely come here again! read more
MUST TRY This is my "go-to" sushi joint. Happy Hour from 2- close? Check! Good music? Check! Friendly service? Check! Phenomenal food? DOUBLE CHECK for taste AND presentation. Once you order, expect the food to come out at rapid pace, they don't mess around. My guy Sep runs around checking to make sure all the customers needs are met. If there's not something on the menu that feels like is speaking to you, call him over and he will customize a roll for you. Have dietary restrictions? They will accommodate. Another great recommendation from Yelp! Visited Phoenix and this place had great reviews so my friend and I stopped in during happy hour on a Saturday night. Our table was full of different rolls and tempura dishes. The food was great and the environment was equally as nice. I'd highly recommend that you check them out if in the area and if you're budget conscious, I'd highly recommend happy hour.
