I visited Sushi32 with a group of friends on a weekend for dinner. It was quite busy when we first arrived, but we were seated quickly. Our server was attentive and friendly throughout dining. The space is cute and comfortable. It is important to note that our whole party was vegetarian, so we can only speak to the vegetarian side of things. We ordered one of each of their vegetable rolls (minus the Forest because it didn't sound enticing enough) to start and then ordered the VIP twice because it was our favorite. Sweet Toto - Our favorite~ 8/10 Avocado, cream cheese, sweet potato tempura topped with eel sauce. VIP (Vegetable in Pieces) - 10/10 Cucumber, avocado, vegetable tempura topped with crunchy flake and eel sauce. Yellow Star - 8.5/10 Asparagus, mango, cream cheese topped with avocado, mango, and spicy mayo Inari - 10/10 Love that they have a designated vegetable roll section. They also offer some noodle options that I imagine can be made veg friendly, but I cannot be 100% sure. For the vege sushi alone, I would visit again!

This is one of the best sushi places I've been to in Arizona, the price is fantastic, the restaurant is clean and well designed. Only flaw is one of their servers named "Joaquin" he is very lifeless and quiet, he made a mistake when I ordered which is completely fine it happens but then lied to the what I'm assuming is the manager saying I did in-fact order the food when I did not. Just rubbed me the wrong way. He has a bad attitude and it really makes me feel unwelcome in the restaurant. 5/5 sushi 2/5 experience.

Joaquin is a rockstar!! A coworker and I stopped in after she'd heard about Sushi32. Thank God we came in for Happy Hour as they have it everyday, and the prices are awesome! For $20, you're able to choose 3 rolls from their select menu. 2 of our 3 options cost an extra $2.95 I believe for the upgraded rolls. Everything we had was really gooooood!! The rice was a perfect texture and the portions were spot on. Joaquin kept himself busy but also checked in with us regularly. I also liked the fact that they have a good variety of alcoholic drinks and a few mocktail choices as well. They have an outdoor patio which I imagine is a perfect place to dine now that the weather has cooled off. Thank you, Joaquin and to the Sushi32 staff for a fun Happy Hour experience. I'll be returning again in the future!

Hidden little restaurant in strip plaza. Clean lots of tables and booths. Service was good and food came out quick. We had lollipop roll, ex boyfriend, yellowtail appetizer, 10 piece sashimi and Picasso roll. Best was lollipop and yellowtail tail appetizer. Fish is fresh but the way things were mixed in the other rolls was not appealing to me. It wasn't bad just not my palate.

The food is outstanding here!!! My husband and I came here for Valentine's Day. We had a reservation, but it's probably not absolutely necessary. There was also plenty of parking. The decor was Japanese inspired with lots of color and greenery! I also really enjoyed the early 2000's music that was playing. It was very busy because of the holiday, so it did take 5-10minutes to get our order taken. But our server, Joaquin?, took great care of us. We were able to enjoy the happy hour special and ordered two rolls for $15. We chose the Vegas and December 24 and enjoyed them both! For my entree I ordered the Tonkatsu ramen and it was SOOO good, the broth tasting very smooth and flavorful. I also ordered a small side of fried rice which was also incredible. My husband ordered the Red Flag and Alaskan sushi rolls which were both delicious too! For dessert we tried the tempura ice cream and it was divine! I also tried a Japanese style IPA and it was very refreshing! I would recommend this place to everyone! Everything we ate was great!

This place is really authentic and their menu is also really big. Lots of options. We got 2 rolls and a ramen and it filled us up perfectly. Service is good too! Would highly recommend.

When my girlfriends asked me to choose a restaurant for our monthly girls dinner (and to celebrate my upcoming birthday), I decided on Sushi32. At quick glance, it had positive reviews, reasonably priced food and drink, and is located off of Camelback and 32nd Street, which makes it pretty convenient for me. It delivered on all of the above. Service was attentive and friendly, we enjoyed the quality of the food, and there was something for everyone on the menu, including even the pickiest of my girlfriends! Sushi32 took over the space where Delux used to be. It's not the fanciest, but not too casual either, so you can feel comfortable going in after the gym or for a date night or celebration like we did. They brought out mochi for dessert which was the perfect sweet ending to our meal. I will be back!

Upon entering, we were transported to the Roaring 20s and it felt like we were actually riding on a train. We were seated at the bar which is where I prefer to sit. Our bartender for the evening was Remington. The menu is pretty extensive. Remington explained the layout of the menu and was great at making suggestions based on our preferences. Some of the drinks we ordered came with snacks which let me know that our selections were more spirit forward. The snacks of course complimented the flavors of the cocktails very well. I started with Beware the Papparazzi. It's a vodka based cocktail that had a sweet, tart, yet balanced taste. It also came with a surprise that I won't spoil. I also had The Film Star which is essentially a Vesper. It was good, but extremely boozy! It came with caramel popcorn. The sweet and saltiness of the popcorn complimented the drink well. Great drinks and a great vibe! Platform 18 was one of my favorite bars that I visited during my trip and I will definitely be back the next time I visit Phoenix.

Just know that here it's worth it. I am tired of going to bars that serve mules or manhattans at $15 or so. Here when you pay for a drink you are getting something rare, unique, and bold. That isn't to even cover the experience and service. Far and away this experience is one of a kind and doesn't really break the bank. We were kindly greeted and welcomed into Platform 18. Our server was Raquel, and she was amazing. Here interest in knowing what things you liked drinking, and giving a couple recommendations. She steered me towards a few tequila drinks that I love, whereas my wife loving the Banana Pudding drink. Also do not sleep on their rich "wicked city" ice cream. One of the most deeply chocolatey ice creams Ive ever had.

Sunny's Lounge was in the area, and I had passed by it before, so I decided to stop by on a Saturday night. They have a small parking lot and I was able to find a spot. If you can't find a spot, you can park for free on a side stret. Ambiance (4/5): Dive-ish is a nice way to put it. Small. But also homey and cool. There's a pool table in the corner with some seating that surrounds it. Plus some seating at the bar. Service (5/5): Friendly and attentive service. Which goes a long way. I was greeted promptly, the bartender answered my questions, and he was friendly. Everything I look for at a bar. Food (N/A): I had dinner earlier that night, so I was on a liquid diet, but Sunny's does have a limited menu mainly consisting of snacks and hot dogs. While I didn't try any of the food, there is some creativity with their food options, so I'd like to give them a try next time around. Drinks (4.5/5): While Sunny's is dive-ish, they are known for their cocktails. And they have an interesting list of creative craft cocktails to choose from. Including some tiki drinks that seem to be a collaboration with Undertow, a nearby tiki bar. Perhaps they're owned by the same people? Either way, I liked it. There's sophistication in their cocktails, which I'm always a fan of. Sunny's is a cool spot. My preference would be to go on a weekday, because if you're trying to play pool, one pool table is not enough when there's a crowd.

It seems next to impossible to hit all the marks of good vibe, good service and great food; and Pyro has it all. The restaurant is right by Global Ambassador, so parking is in the structure, and can get very busy every night, so be prepared for that. The restaurant had a lovely, dark, alluring vibe inside. We did choose to sit outside, as there was a nice big patio and the weather was beautiful. The chairs had a gorgeous deep curve, that wrapped the arms around you and were tailored in a gorgeous floral. Our incredible server, Ren, greeted us at our table and her energy was immediately infectious! We knew we were going to have a great time. You could tell she loved her job and loved this restaurant. She walked us through the menu and gave us many recommendations on drinks and food. We all listened to her drink options , all getting something different, and they were all fantastic. The matcha espresso and Louis' Martini were my favorites. We ordered the steak tartare, gyoza, short rib skewers, spicy salmon handrolls (we were able to make it 3), and scallops with risotto. Everything was truly incredible. The steak tartare was all of our favorites, and the hand rolls and gyoza , close second. Only thing I'd do differently, is try the chicken thigh skewers over the short rib. I imagine you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. With our whole evening being absolutely perfect, and still talking about it 2 weeks later, we can't wait to go back! We will definitely be asking for Ren as our server ! And reordering some of our favorites and trying some new things I had my eye on. So happy to know a restaurant still has passion and takes pride in a true dining experience.
