So, our "go to" place was closing earlier than expected and we still wanted Sushi. I had book marked this restaurant and it was only 7 minutes away and they were open till midnight. This was perfect, as we didn't want to feel rushed. Yet, we were literally thinking this place wouldn't meet our expectations since we hold the other location to such a high standard, but wanted to give this joint a shot regardless. Arrived to a nice open dining room. Wasn't too busy at this hour, so kinda perfect for being first timers. Their front hostess station does have a few notations to take notice of when coming in-like: you can't seat yourself at the bar and no dogs allowed. That said, we were greeted promptly and taken to a table (party of 3) Our server arrived and got our drink orders in. It was reverse happy hour or should I just say- just happy hour 'cause everyday after 2 PM till close (midnight) it always is! That's an impressive plus and made our experience off to a fantastic start. Appetizers- Spicy Garlic Edamame and the Tempura Fried Calamari. Both were better than our usual scene. So, a little taken aback even by that. Rolls- Spicy Crunch Tuna Roll, Las Vegas Roll, Rainbow Roll & Second Climax Roll. ALL were excellent! However, the stand outs were the Rainbow & Second Climax. They made the Climax (upon request) extra spicy for us & we truthfully could have done this one, one more time. LOL The menu has a wonderful variety including noodles, Katsu Chicken, combo plates, soups & sides. Service was great. Our staff member was attentive and friendly. Our requests were met with a willingness and enthusiasm. Definitely will be back to explore more of their menu and try some other combinations since they accommodate their guest just as well as our staple spot. They exceeded our expectations and we honestly didn't think we'd find a place better than the one we never defer from, but they did challenge that! Food was fresh, delicious and promptly served. Excellent choice for sushi that's affordable and bussin!
Fresh, delicious sushi. We also got the four season roll but asked to remove the wasabi and it was delicious. Sapporo was thoroughly cold. We went on a Tuesday at 2 pm and it was a very peaceful, relaxing meal. Great, friendly service. Clean bathroom. Parking may get tight during a rush hour, but easy to find and easy parking during our time. Can't wait to come back
Was meeting friends on this side of town & went out of our normal & tried this spot. Sat at the bar. Staff was friendly & attentive. The sushi was so delicious, definitely in my top 5 places in the greater phoenix area. Food came out in a timely manner & the atmosphere was welcoming & overall a great vibe.
We came here for lunch on a Saturday and we were seated immediately. The staff was nice and our server checked up on us multiple times. We came here at 2 PM, and luckily we just made their happy hour! They have happy hour starting from 2PM - close, so we definitely took advantage and ordered a few rolls on that menu. The sushi was decent, you can definitely tell the different between the happy hour rolls and the specialty rolls. However, the food came out fairly quickly and we left satisfied with our lunch.
This is a great place to come with friends. They have options for sushi not lovers as well! Service was good. He was attentive! I always love their rolls to share with friends.
One of my favorite sushi places in AZ. It's a great price and also quality food. The restaurant had a lot of seating so there's never more than a 15 minute wait (in my experience). The rolls are so creative. The service is good and they are all really nice. Good lighting and comfy booths! Love this place! We got the chicken fried rice (huge portion), second climax roll (my fav), Las Vegas roll (classic), and I don't remember the 3rd one . All so yummy!
I'm a big fan of sushi and udon, and this place didn't disappoint me at all. I went there right before the busy lunch time and that was the right decision because this place could be very crowded and that can tell you a lot how good this sushi place is. Lunch menu offers a great deal, good options and reasonably priced. I ordered udon which came with the spicy tuna rolls and it's absolutely delicious. I ended up order another salmon rolls and it's really amazing! The food here is very fantastic, the service is excellent - that's all I needed ! The restaurant is open space indoor only, they have low or high tables, the long table for a big groups, or the counter sushi area as your choices. I'm so happy that I found my new favorite sushi restaurant. There are a lot of menu that I would like to try, and yes, I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a sushi and udon. For me, I know I will come back for more!
Wow! What a disappointment. This is not legit sushi. Stay away! The rice was hard and dry. The quality of the fish were not fresh. I would not recommend here. One of the rolls I got, might have been a dynamite roll, was soggy. They kept falling apart. Service was good. That's the one star!
Really good! Great prices. EXCEPTIONAL service. Happy hour with liberal hours. Three of us ate for like $60 wow!
Average compared to other places from where I'm from regarding quality but then again the target audience seems to cater to the younger crowd hence the all day HH menu which wasn't too bad. It met my needs on this 115F day. Service was fast at 4:45 on a weekday.
A girl friend and I were craving some sushi and were looking for a spot in Arcadia that had a good happy hour and Sushiholic fit the bill. We were warmly greeted by the hostess and were immediately seated. Our server did a great job walking us through the menu and was quick to get us our drinks. We loved the large happy hour menu and the variety of drinks, appetizers and sushi options. We order 4 glasses of Sauvignon Blanc, crab puffs, gyoza, and garlic edamame, and 4 sushi rolls (2 california rolls, Tootsie Roll, and Shrimp Tempura). Our bill came out to $90 for everything-such a good deal. Food was tasty, service was great and the resturant was clean. We will soon become regulars here.
Fantastic place to get sushi. I've been here two times and both were great experiences. They have lots of seating so typically there's not a wait. Service is prompt and friendly. The fish tastes fresh and they have tons of rolls to choose from. They also have great happy hour deals that can't be beat!

For those trying to go for sushi that is fairly reasonably priced, this is it. With so many reviews at this place, I was going on popularity and price value. I'm usually a sushi snob because I love particular cuts like toro or uni... But of course if you want fish from Japan, you have to spend more. Here you won't find it. But from first appearance, the simplicity yet modern decor was appealing. When it comes to freshness it wasn't up to my standards but for those looking for ambiance and a place that is cost-effective, you might just like it. I went for the lunch special and had the soup and salad. It was just ok. I like the fish to speak for itself. My lunch was mediocre. The soup was rather lacking on flavor and the salad was a little watery. Our sushi was just ok, here. The nigiri was not the best but the standard sushi worked enough to fill our appetites. But for just a one time visit I can't give any criticism for the rest of the menu. Maybe next time I might go for the hot meals. read more

Sushi was delicious. My first time trying the Hawaiian white tuna. I give it 4 stars because service was not attentive. I was sat at the sushi bar & I had to wait probably like 5-10 minutes to get server to check up on me and take my order. The sushi chef was the one who notified a server to check with me. This place was awesome. So thankful my friend Kodey suggested it. The staff is nice. The food was amazing. Not to mention I feel like I was given 2 extra slices/ rolls on my rainbow roll than normal. I always feel like it's 8 pieces everywhere I go, here I got 10. I did order a salmon skin roll. It was ok. It was more like a little bit of skin and mostly some cooked salmon in it. It was yummy just not what I was expecting. The miso was good, the edemame was a BIT garlicky for me. And not in a good way. I love garlic, but the garlic on top of theirs kinda just tasted like it came out of a giant jar of minced garlic, didn't particularly taste fresh, just that they put a giant spoonful on. The crab puffs were pretty good and I don't even like those. I liked the dimness of the lights, I liked the atmosphere of the place, I definitely wanna come back. Oh yes! 1000% YES. Could not give a higher recommendation than Sushiholic. Sushiholic is my go to spot for delicious sushi. They have a mix of sashimi, classic sushi rolls, and baked and deep fried sushi options for those who don't enjoy raw fish. I strongly suggest the Lion King roll. It comes with crab, avocado, celery, baked salmon, eel sauce, and spicy mayo on top. It you're looking for great bang for your buck, weekdays at lunch time you can get bento boxes for $12-13. They come with your choice of protein: salmon teriyaki, chicken teriyaki, chicken katsu, and pork katsu. You can pick your choice of sides: edamame, gyoza, crab puffs, seaweed salad, and more. The bento box also comes with a salad, miso soup, rice, and a fresh, sliced orange. It that's not your style, the lunch specials also include a sushi combo with sashimi and sushi rolls. They have great happy hour pricing for drinks. The staff are impeccable! read more
Solid sushi place! The only thing i didnt ljke was their Scallops which was bland but everything else was delicious and prices great. We were all stuffed by the end of dinner between 6 ppl and 2 hot sakes. Bill came out under $300. We definitely ordered a little too much. Management and service was also great. We'll definitely be back. read more

The cucumber salad was very unique it was sweet rather than its usual spicy. The crispy rice was good the jalapeño adds a nice touch. Spicy salmon roll was very good the salmon is very good quality. The first love roll was good as well the cucumbers used in both of them had a very nice crunch. The service was good no complaints ambience was a little interesting and their light needs to be fixed it kept flickering. read more

Review update! Still love this place- even more these days. We frequent here a couple times a week lately and like to sit at the sushi bar. The spicy tuna sticky rice is SO good. All their fish is good! Awesome happy hour that goes all night. This place gets packed and does not take reservations. read more

Love bringing my daughter here. Food: ordered edamame for appetizer, with 2 Las Vegas Rolls and a chicken Friend rice (no onions, no bean sprouts.) Service: Excellent Dine in service, didn't wait no longer than 20 minutes to get our meal right when he came he saw I had my order ready and wasted no time didn't make us wait more than 5 minutes at any moment I needed him we will be back! read more
Great sushi at a great price. We walked in at 5:30 on a Saturday without a reservation and quickly got sat. Our waitress was very efficient and kind! We each ordered a couple of rolls to start but ended up being full! Good size rolls, quality ingredients fun effervescent place! read more

So delicious and fast; within a few minutes of ordering, our appetizers came out. The wait staff were wonderful, and each waiter or waitress came around to fill our water cups or clear dishes. The group effort was reflective of the efficient kitchen! Same great service lunch and dinner. Great happy hour specials! read more
Doesn't look like much from the outside but deliciousness is waiting inside! Staff is extremely friendly. There is bar seating as well as dining room. Open late - so nice. We started with the cucumbers and potstickers which were very tasty, followed by the Yellowtail w/jalapeño and ponzu sauce...so good. Main entree was 911 Roll and chicken Katsu curry w/rice. Large curry sauce on the side for dipping. Entree came with miso soup and a side salad. We like everything we ordered and can't wait to return. read more

Sushiholic is a great value for good sushi. I had lunch there today for $12.95 plus tax and tip which is very reasonable. That included: a shrimp tempura roll, a crunchy California roll, and two piece of tuna nigiri. Honestly you would pay way more at AJ's Fine Foods for lesser quality and certainly not freshly made. These were freshly made and tasty. Service was fast and solicitous. I was in and out in under 40 minutes which is great when you need to get back to work. They also have Bento box lunch specials for that same price which looked excellent as well. I believe these specials are dine in only. They also have a pretty good Happy hour which they reduce prices on several of their rolls and other items. Parking can be a bit of a challenge here. Lot is small and it fills up pretty fast. And there really is not a close lot for overflow. read more

What a delightful surprise! Seeking some solid sushi before a friends flew home through Sky Harbor. A colleague recommended this place and I'm so glad we checked it out. Sep offered to pick some tastes for us and they were some of the best fish bites I've had in Arizona. Excellent quality fish, great balanced bites and all for great price. I left and immediately shared my experience with 4 or 5 friends. If you can, try the white fish tuna with orange. Simply divine. read more

First of all, I love that this place is open so late. I love being able to go eat at 9 or 10pm. Second, the fish is very good. The ponzu was amazing, it had the right ratio of everything and it tasted great! The sushi was great and my husband, who is not a fan of raw fish, loved it. The cheesecake was good, it was a little too much for me but I'm not a big sweets person so take my opinion with a grain of salt. Overall, great food and great restaurant read more

[4.2/5.0] Pretty much a full house on a Wednesday night! All the rolls we got was very good. My favorites are the lobster rolls and and spicy salmon roll. The fish was fresh and very delicious. They have happy hour from 2pm to close as well. Man, I'm still thinking about that lobster roll... might have to go back lol. read more

Sushiholic is probably the best value for your dollar when it comes to sushi and nigiri (outside of Kabuki's happy hour). I've been in the valley almost 20 years and this is not even an opinion. read more
Cute sushi restaurant in Scottsdale, we ordered off the happy hour menu which had a good amount of food options. My friend and I ordered the gyoza, crab puffs, salmon nigiri, Las Vegas roll, rainbow roll and spicy edamame. Enjoyed the food and service. Look forward to going back next time I'm in town. read more

We absolutely love SUSHIHOLIC. It is just so good, time and time again. This time we did the Vegas roll, sweet thang, school bus and crab puffs. There is a 4th roll I can't remember the name of, please forgive. Definitely a must try sushi spot in the valley. read more
