The appetizers (and desserts) are also worth mentioning given that it's included in the price. Only thing not included are the drinks i believe (except water). I've been coming here for a big part of my life, easily over a decade, and the sushi is just always incredible. Total bang for your buck and super consistent, which is hard to find these days. Every time I come, the food hits and the service is genuinely great. Huge bonus that it's BYOB, but they also have sake and wine if you don't feel like bringing your own. This place has an amazing "all you can eat" offering and I was blown away by the quality of the rolls. My favorite was the bethpage roll (a chicken teriyake roll!). This place is located in an unassuming strip mall so you wouldn't necessarily expect it to be as great as it was. The service was excellent, the food was excellent and it is BYOB so my friends were excited to bring some wine to enjoy with dinner. The only negatives were that it was very hot inside (due to weather changes this is understandable because everyday seems to be a totally different temperature) when we went and the floors were very slippery so just be cautious. (They had some rugs throughout to offset this but it was difficult to walk around without sliding) I will absolutely be going back. This place is the cheapest AYCE sushi place we have encountered in Long Island! Also, it's BYOB so we brought two bottles of wine. The Babylon roll was surprisingly good. Sushi Time has been around for a long time. It's decent for what it is. Basically you get a slip of paper, you choose what you want and mark off how many you want. It is hit or miss here. Sometimes it's really on point and other times it's very lackluster but it's an all you can eat place, so I'll take it. Service can be quick or dreadfully slow, and has nothing to do with the amount of people there. The interior could use some updating, there have been no changes over the last eight or so years. Hmmm... I haven't been back in a while since there are a ton of sushi places in the area. I chose to come tonight because of the BYOB incentive. They have cutdown on their menu drastically. There isn't a lot of speciality rolls as there used to be. My boyfriend has a shellfish allergy, so he is unable to have any of the rolls with shrimp or crab...and now it's most of the menu! It didn't used to be like that. He used to have a variety of choices, now not so much. Also, now the rolls have a ton of rice. It didn't used to be like that either. So much rice and not a lot of fish. The low sodium soy sauce...you know, the GREEN cap one...was more like high sodium soy sauce. One dip with a sushi roll tasted like a salt shaker. I definitely feel they are refilling those bottles with regular soy sauce. Low sodium soy sauce should NOT taste like that. I also ordered green tea. When the tea came out not only was it scorching hot but it had a very odd bright yellow color. Needless to say, I did not drink any. The amount of sushi was perfect, but the salads were a bit small. The overall quality of the food was okay, but leans more towards quantity of quality. The one thing that really got me was that we paid over $70 for this meal and were told that if we wanted an extra sauce cup, it would be an extra 75¢. Hate places that do that. We placed our order and they only brought out some of what we ordered and just decided to choose what to bring out. My boyfriend didn't receive any of his sushi. They said we had to eat this first before they brought the rest of the order. When we asked to speak to the manager he came out on the phone and said he was busy. Never ever ever coming back here.
