Went for the all you can eat, special, and it did not disappoint. The server recommended a few of their favorite dishes when we asked, since it was our first time there. It was all delicious and brought quickly. Been back a few times since and its always solid. read more

The food is AMAZING. What they could work on is the service- it is a little slow but everyone is very nice don't get me wrong. With that being said. This is easily one of my favorite sushi places in Chicago! read more

Love this place, really gooooooood food!! They also have great promos like happy hour!!

The sushi is below average. I took one bite of my spicy scallop nigiri and had to spit it out, it had such an awful fish taste. Everything else was low quality tasting and I would never come here AGAIN!!! read more

This might be the worst sushi I've had in Chicago. Nothing tasted fresh. Two of us actually had to spit out the spicy scallop nigiri because it tasted rotten. This combined with them being understaffed was a terrible experience. The only positive was that our waitress was friendly whenever we ordered from her. read more

I did not like this spot! I have been to many sushi restaurants and this was my least favorite. They drench their rolls in sauce. You cannot taste or even see the fish from all the sauce on top. Go to Sushi Taku in Wicker Park instead. You will not regret it! read more

Great quality sushi. The sashimi to rice ratio is better than other AYCE sushi places I've seen. Some places put too much rice for too little sushi. -1 star for the unnecessary sauces they drizzle on some of the sushi for presentation. read more

I placed an order for take out on Sunday August 27th. The app indicated the order was ready, but upon arrival to the restaurant after approximately 30 minutes the food was not ready. There were at least two parties in the restaurant that got up and left due to lack of service and food. During the next 30 minutes waiting to get my food the hostess kept saying 10 more minutes. After waiting for over 30 minutes we told you to cancel the order and left without food. You still went ahead and charged my card for food you never provided. This is very disappointing on so many levels you should be ashamed of your way of doing business. read more

Nota: Dragón on fire is the best roll ever read more

Sushi Payce - Sushi Bars Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

We called ahead to see if a reservation was needed.. they said yes. We called 3 hours in advance and made one.. only to get there and have no table. Instead they tried to stick us at a cluttered bar . When we asked if we could wait for a table to become available... we were told no.. there are no tables.... Needless to say I I got the sense we were not welcomed there. We decided to take out business elsewhere.... I do not recommend.. solely on how we were treated. read more

I thought the meal was a good value. The sushi is average, however the appetizers were excellent

overall very disappointed was recommended from tik tok without reading reviews and couldnt be further from satisfied first we got there table of 4 upon our first order have of our orders were not brought out and when discussed to workers they said "they would look into the order" after 2 more times us informing them after 1 hour and a half we have only finished the appetizers that they brought out not even our complete order and no sign of a worker to come and clean our tables up just a bunch of workers walking around with water seeing our table dirty. our drinks as well took an hour and a half. eventually someone came and asked for our order again and we gave it to them after 30 more minutes we informed them we wanted to leave and no longer eat there we would like our order packed 5 minutes later a robot and i mean a actual ROBOT came to our table with the wrong order not even close HOW LAZYYYYY!!!! after informing them its not our order they brought out 25% of our order and informed us we will not be paying for our order but at that point we were already so hungry and angry we left and went to the restaraunt next door which had ACTUAL SERVICE AND GOOD FOOD AWE ATE AND LEFT WITHIN 35 MINUTES DO NOT RECOMMEND RESTARAUNT EVEN TO MY WORST ENEMY read more

Best deal and quality! They typically have quick seating & food comes fast. The service was great!

I saw this place pop up recently as it is on my commute to work so I've been excitedly waiting for it to open as I love sushi, especially all you can eat places. This was by far the best all you can eat sushi experience I've ever had. The fish is fresh tasting, plating is gorgeous, and the service is excellent. Looking forward to coming back with friends this weekend for a little birthday celebration. read more

Absolutely love this place. The all you can eat sushi is a great deal! The sushi is always fresh and there's a huge selection of things to try! i would definitely recommend making reservations though it gets very busy read more

Great variety and quality of food and the people are very nice. Great dinning experience

It is a good deal with such surprisingly fresh fish. And it is the most essential quality of a sushi restaurant I believe. It was kind of busy when we were there, for the rolls it toke about fifteen minutes, it's faster than we thought. The services did a good job, not just with a nice attitude but arraigned all the foods to different tables efficiently (we have four people and we ordered 30+items, it's probably similar with many other customers) read more

I had ate here couple times, yesterday is the worst experience. The sushi is ok. But the wait is terrible. We have to wait at least 30 minutes to get our waiter's attention and ask someone to get our waiter before we can order more food. Our waiter is extremely busy and never check on us or refill our water. To make this experience worst is they add 18% of automatically gratuity to our bill with party of 5 people but the menu never states. read more

This place had the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. I was ignored for almost an hour. The waiter had wiped down several tables and set them prior to asking me if I had been helped. I politely told her no I have not and she continued to set tables then came back to take my order. It wasn't until I asked to speak to the manager that my food started to come out. There were 2 families that came in behind me who were serviced before me and I was by myself. In addition the waiter asked if I wanted a refill of water and half way filled up my glass. Also one of my sushi rolls there was paper inside of it. The manager offered me a free drink and told me he will be right back with my drink and did not come back with my drink until 20mins later. The excuse that was given was multiple staff had called off for the day. The staff calling off had absolutely nothing to do with me especially when everyone else in the room was being serviced at an appropriate time except for myself. The sushi is ok but because the way I was treated I do not believe I will be back. The staff needs to be fired because they do not pay attention or have appropriate time management skills. read more

See all

We were there for 3.5 hours and we got not even half of the food we ordered. We'll never come back!

Food was OK. We had a bad experience with the restaurant manager that night. We made the reservation for our birthday dinner and we arrived on time. There was a table available but the manager did not allow us sit there because it was the one he held for his friends! When we questioned about this behavior, he said:" why can't you guys wait? If you do not want to wait, just go away!" I never see a restaurant manager like this!!! All other waiters were nice. read more

Worst sushi place in Chicago. Don't ever try it. The server did not know what he was bringing to the table. If you ask him what that was he literally tells you "you order you should know" plus the food comes late and cold. They don't apologize for anything and even though the quality of the food is terrible, they just wan to charge you extra. Conclusion, don't ever go there. read more

Waited here for 2.5 hours and only got 3 appetizers. We were the first people here and groups that got here after us were being served and billed before we even got our food, which never came. Not coming back until they figure out a more efficient way to get food out of the kitchen and to their guests. read more

This place is awesome! The sushi is fresh, the wait staff are nice and attentive, and the service was quick. We ordered 3 sets of nigiri and 4 rolls, all of which arrived within 20-25 minutes. I would add a photo, but it was all gone before we knew it! They don't yet have a liquor license, but the restaurant next door (the warehouse - great spot) sells 6 packs that you can take to-go. I'm an avid sushi eater (typically dine at Nobu and Momotaro in chicago -not a big deal) and this is right up there with both! 5/5 stars! read more

Walked into the place at 3. Waiting for 10 minutes for someone to come up to us and say they had no fish and to try to come back later. It seemed like a really cool place but now I am at koi down the street. Also don't bother calling them Because we tried for two days to see if there were reservations and no one picks up the phone. read more

This place has great food and wonderful service!! Would recommend, not bad pricing either.

Waited 3.5 hours for our food to come out cold. We never got some of what we ordered.

Maybe it was the place that it was super busy, but the food took a while to get to our table.

Ordered from Uber eats and read some reviews about their food quality, but decided to try anyway. They were right. Unfortunately the rolls did not taste fresh nor have much of a flavor. read more

Yummy food, Fast service, the all you can option is definitely worth it and right now it's byob while they wait for their liquor license! Would recommend if your in the Lincoln park area read more

I definitely would not consider eating here again the waitress with the bowie cut literally did not check up on us once, refused every request we asked for and was rude and snippy. What shocked me the most is I asked to be moved from a two top in a busty area to a four top and she literally told me no but sat another two top couple who asked to be moved to a four top which were all "reserved" ... don't be deceived by these five star reviews they only had three people taking care of a full house. Food was not warm and overall was a waste of my time. read more

They use great quality sushi and very good service. Highly recommended. They are very busy at weekend so go early.

Great service, great food, and great value in Lincoln Park. Love having dinner here. The staff is so attentive and fast, which is not the norm for many all you can eat sushi restaurants. Extensive menu with lots of choices on the ayce. This place is a gem. read more
