Very friendly Asian couple we're working and the food was very good. The bento box was great as was the Kung Pao chicken. The flying dragon roll was OK. The spicy crab mixture was pretty bland. The Cali roll in the Bento box was great so maybe shy away from the spicy crab filling type sushi options. Lots of TVs to watch on a quiet end of the terminal.

employee grilled me if I work here for a $2 discounted bowl... wild. badge & all. don't offer the discount if you're tryna avoid honoring it.

Love the food here! Every dish I have ordered is absolutely delicious. I had never tried sushi before and now love it, glad I tried it here for the first time. The service is good and the people are hospitable. I used to eat here twice a week before flying out and as soon as I came back. Great ambiance with a lot of TVs along the wall. The Spicy pork entree is what I order I most often and it is the best spicy pork I've ever had including everywhere else in Anchorage and other cities as well.

Overall I would give this place 4 out of 5 stars. Everything I've had has been great! I had the bear bait roll along with a hazy ipa. Service is always great and food and drink come quickly. Ambiance is... well an airport restaurant. No complaints, though! Prices are high, again, airport pricing. I will say, however, that the roll was a decent size for the price, so that's a plus. This is a perfect place to park while you wait for your flight!

Automatic charge tip 15%. They are fast, food tasted good and portion is ok too. I was hungry when I pass by McDonalds. Thank god I walk little more. If you are taking Alaska airlines you are in luck. This place is great!

I still think it is the best airport food in Anchorage. Tried a different spot recently, and while they tried, it just wasn't up to par. I appreciate the fact that Sushi on the Fly has gluten free soy sauce. I usually order a salmon roll with avocado and cucumber. Lately I've also begun to order some edamame and sake on longer layovers. My travel companions on my last trip did say their noodles were on the saltier side. Hopefully it was just an off day.

    Sashimi (12 piece)

DELICIOUS and the staff is super friendly. If you want a quick, wholesome bite to recharge, pop in here on a layover or while waiting to hop on a flight out of Anchortown. Try the sashimi. It is expertly carved and beautifully presented. Always fresh, always a good choice. (I also have never been autocharged a tip here. My bill reflected the menu price before tip.)

It was great! Stuff is very friendly (very surprising for AK) not big choice of raw fish but it was fresh, well stop again on our way from King Salmon

It's the summer season, so a very busy time seems hectic, but it tastes good if you visit and receive food. It's very good for airport food.

A fried ono fish burger, a seared ahi sandwich, cheesy seafood dip, and the cookies. Everything was awesome! The fish burger had lilikoi tartar sauce and the fish was super fresh tender and flaky. The ahi sando had chopped kimchi and a garlicky mayo. The dip had a touch of smoke and didn't taste fishy. The cookies were bigger than I imagined and were excellent especially with the generous sprinkling of maldon sea salt crystals. If I was forced to split hairs, I'd wished the seafood medley in the dip (shrimp, halibut, etc) were chunkier so you could identify what was in each bite. It was more whipped or creamed together. I also think the cookies would be better if they were just a little thicker, although I can see the allure of a thin crispy cookie also. The cost was pretty expensive, but the ingredients they use are fresh and high quality so you can see where the money goes. The staff were really above-and-beyond friendly. They quickly set up an extra folding table for our family when they noticed we had no where to sit. Please visit this food cart (and follow them on socials, to keep track of their weekly specials) -- let's keep them in business! Anyone can see they take a lot of pride in their food both taste, image and creativity. I can't wait to try more things from Familia.

Food is prepared in a timely manner and I ordered for pick up through the app tonight! Very satisfied with the food since I was in a rush and I didn't want the drive-thru greasiness. I ran a quick errand, picked up and ate in the car-- then off i went again. Reasonable prices for generous portioned rice bowls. There are spice levels to choose from as well. They've quality ingredients that you can customize. I ordered the dynamite bop (cooked shrimp, crabmeat, masago, lettuce, green onions, corn and sauce over rice) and noodle bop (jap chae- sweet potato noodle with beef, carrot, onion, lettuce, and sauce over white rice). If you plan to eat inside, you'll need to order at the counter as there's no table service. Restaurant is clean and plenty of seating. I'll be back again... and again.

Very mediocre, okay in a pinch, not expensive…read more Usually places with various protein/rice combos have room for more customization than this place. It's not possible to get the poke without onions, or to get just carrots without cabbage (since it's a mix). And the rice didn't taste seasoned at all. The sauce was a highlight, but more would have been better. I also think they should just stick with salmon/tuna poke and eliminate the Krab- it's on the low end of imitation crab that I've eaten. Would not return.

You must understand, since I don't drive, this is a decision I give great thought to before I take into action. Because once my husband shuts the door on a place and says we aren't going back, that's it. He doesn't give them an ounce of grace. Their heads are on the chopping block and they're blacklisted for life. He approved of the interior. It was casual enough to be comfortable, but had some nice touches to make you forget you're in Anchorage's most "dangerous" neighborhood. We walked in and were greeted by.... Noone. We had to walk all the way to the back of the restaurant to get someone's attention and were instructed to seat ourselves. A few minutes later the same gal , swings by slaps some menus and water on the table and says not a word and disappears. Mmmm.... OK then. The same individual returns later to take our orders for drinks, apps and entrees. A short time later she returns later with drinks. Then.... nothing. No app. Then our entrees appear. No app. Then our rice. Then finally our overcooked, inedible app. Wtf. I should have refused to pay for it. Whatever. My entree was a 3.5, my husband's was a 2. The app was -1. My husband called me a liar for hyping up this place. He was pissed. Dammit. I have to take this one off my fave list, my husband will never drive me there again. Sigh.

Guarantee you will leave fat and happy! . I got the same stuff I get at most Pho houses. Fresh / Sprint Rolls, Beef Combo Pho, and Thai Tea. Rolls were good, they came with a sweet n sour dipping sauce. The Pho was excellent! It's the first time I can remember when there was just as much meat as there were noodles! Being lunch time, I ordered the small bowl. It was packed so full of brisket and flank and tripe and meatballs and tendon that I couldn't finish it all - I was stuffed. One nice touch is they the noodle are cut in half, so if you haven't quite mastered eating noodles with chopsticks, these are easy to scoop onto the spoon. A welcome touch for most Americans. :). Oh yea ... along with beef and chicken Pho, they also have Duck Pho - if you're feeling adventurous.
