Was in looking for a good sushi place and I came across this one. The food was amazing!! The value of each menu item is reasonable and portions are perfect!! We ordered, garlic edamame, crunch roll, teriyaki chicken bowl, and udon soup!! When we walked in I was impressed by the atmosphere as it's very colorful and welcoming!! This is one of my top favorite sushi places! I go here pretty often whenever I can. I actually recently went here two days in a row since I won't be in this city for a while. I am so in love with the decorations of this place. It is one of the bonuses of this place that I always tell people about to get them to come here. We ordered the Mountain Roll, Rainbow Roll, and the Thai Coconut Shrimp Roll. The rolls were large and the quality of the fish of ingredients were overall of good quality. Only downside is the price of the rolls are quite expensive in comparison to other similar quality sushi spots nearby. The sushi here has pretty big portions and was overall good. Not the best sushi Ive had but pretty good if you're craving sushi and you don't want to pay a crazy amount for quality fish. We tried the Amazing Salmon, Alaskan Roll, and Chef Specialty Roll (not pictured). Service was ok they brought out our Chef Specialty Roll as we were almost done with the two rolls. Hands down the best customer experience!!Monica helped my family, she was patient, kind and very sweet. We had a party of three adults, one toddler and one baby. Not sure how they made it or what batter they used but it tastes so fresh, warm, and the sauce is not overpowering--compliments it perfectly Also highly recommend getting the lettuce wrap roll. We had a party of 12 for my mother in laws bday The restaurant itself is very cute and isn't small like most sushi places. I ordered the Alaskan roll and although it was super delicious, it was a tad bit small for the price. For appetizers we had egg rolls, and edamame which were also good! The service was really great. My 5-year old spilled his water and the waitress checked on him multiple times to make sure he was okay and reassured him it was not a big deal. I really appreciated that so much! This place does NOT have all you can eat, but I usually that means that the quality of the sushi is better! I did like this sushi place, the fish tasted fresh. There's a variety of different rolls that they have. The spicy tuna on crispy rice was good but it was a bit spicier than I expected! It satisfied my sushi craving. This is the not the younger generation's All-u-can-eat kinda place. in fact it's in Riverside!!! Blue fin tuna, live shrimp, bomb rolls (easy on rice) and the creative style of the sushi chefs will have you drooling for more! The quality exceeds the cost by 1000%. (Ooka has increased in $ by 50% then made their rolls half the size!!!) I choose this place every time since 2014. read more
