We got seated super quickly and the menu was full of delights, we accidentally ordered too much cause we were used to places that have small rolls but everything was in huge portions and everything was super fresh and amazing. The sushi chefs really care about quality and experience and if you can sit at the bar you'll get to know them a little better, some seem a little quiet at first but once you get to know them they're all very personable. The sushi of course though being the most important part of the experience is always cold and fresh. Is it on the pricier side? The food here is fresh and absolutely delicious. They do not have all you can eat, which is perfectly fine with us. I am not a fan of all you can eat. I love the service. They really pay attention to what you like and they even remember what our favorites are and we most often don't even have to ask. Went with a group of 12 for a birthday. The staff were friendly and sat us at one of the hibachi tables so we could all sit together. The restaurant was clean with a modern look. The food was delicious and looked very presentable. The waiter was funny and very hospitable. Came here by myself while in town for a meeting. They really need to rename this restaurant because the sushi is outstanding. I had the hamachi nigiri, seared salmon nigiri, and the awesome salmon roll. It was all very good. The hamachi and seared salmon was "melt in your mouth" delicious. Service was quick and friendly. The music is a little loud for my taste but maybe that's because I'm old. I tried the mixed tempura. This is the reason for the four stars. I was disappointed to get just one shrimp in the mixed tempura. The veggies were good but I wanted one more shrimp. Also, it was a little too crunchy for my liking. I was craving sushi and this spot popped up in the area. I came in for lunch after working out so I was starving! It was busy but not packed on a Saturday afternoon. The bar seating was empty so I opted to eat there. The sushi chefs behind the counter were super friendly and mostly spoke Korean. The servers and chefs were cheerful and were happily bantering with each other so the atmosphere was happy and upbeat. I ended up ordering the akimoto (monkfish) appetizer and dinner sushi combo B which comes with nigiri and your choice of roll. I chose the yellowtail fashion roll. I enjoyed the akimoto. It came with 3 pieces topped with roe and it tasted the way it's supposed to. The nigiri was a good selection of fish and the quality was good! I liked the yellowtail roll the least. The fried shrimp wasn't crispy and I didn't really care for the spicy tuna inside. I am not a huge fan of rolls so I wasn't expecting much anyway.
