I ordered the Alaskan roll and although it was super delicious, it was a tad bit small for the price. For appetizers we had egg rolls, and edamame which were also good! The service was really great. My 5-year old spilled his water and the waitress checked on him multiple times to make sure he was okay and reassured him it was not a big deal. I really appreciated that so much! There's a variety of different rolls that they have. The spicy tuna on crispy rice was good but it was a bit spicier than I expected! It satisfied my sushi craving. This is my boyfriend and I's go-to spot for sushi in the IE! We've tried places in Redlands, Loma Linda, Fontana, etc. But driving a little further out to Riverside to eat here is well worth it. Since covid there hasn't been a long wait, and the fish portions are generous and reasonably priced. I like to get the rainbow roll or the chirashi bowl, and both never disappoint. I ate here a while back but I recall that the sushi here was delicious. It's the only sushi restaurant that serves king scallops with Uni on top; in my experience. The scallop was delicate while the Uni was buttery and creamy. The Hawaiian roll was delicious also with a California roll topped with fresh tuna and slices of avocado. TLDR; Pretty expensive for not amazing food. To be fair, we did get takeout, so this may have had an effect on the food. Thankfully we were early enough right before the dinner rush on Sunday. Customer service was impeccable as they were very attentive and very friendly with requests that we had even as they got busier. Their recommendations on menu items were on point but it would be hard to imagine that anything on the menu sucked. Everyone at our tables ordered their own individual Items but their portions were large enough that it could've been shared. Personally, I was able to share with a cousin and we had the salmon collar, salmon skin salad, 2 baked rolls which we devoured. The diet was literally out the window! Our tables also ordered other items like hand rolls, kalbi, udon and sesame chicken which was all to great reviews. And to top off our meal... they gave us complimentary cookies and cream ice cream. My favorite AYCE sushi place in the Inland Empire is Show Sushi because their nigiri has a better fish to rice ratio. Their ayce sushi is better than this single order items. However, I'm glad Sushi OK is close to campus and it exists. - The Alaskan roll is what I'd expect it to taste like - a california roll with fish on top. - The Josh was a decent roll but a little too salty for my taste. I love the addition of onion flakes on the top - The Salmon Nigiri was good. I love the aesthetic slice of sashimi on the top. I would not pay that much for nigiri again though. I paid about $20 for one roll and an order of nigiri. I would've rather gone with to get AYCE if I'd calculated beforehand that both items cost that much. Either way, I'll be back. read more
