They moved around the tables to make sure we were in the shade. The waiter even brought out a container of water for my dogs. He later brought out a extra container of water. I'm not sure if they go through this much effort for everyone, but I really appreciate the effort. The food was good also. I got the poutine off the specials. It was great

Well, a friend also recommend it as they live in town. Small town, most places do close pretty early. I think they closed around 8pm when we arrived. They were able to accommodate my group last minute. It was Thursday, the farmers market was going on out front and the place was pretty mellow. Inside, it was mellow but once you were in the back patio, it was pretty lively. It's where they seated us. First time also trying Burmese food. Menu did have a lot of dishes that are pretty much similar to the other southeast asian dishes. Pretty much the seasonings varies here and there. Service was great from start to finish as everyone was very sweet and friendly. Constantly checking in on us to make sure that everything was taken care of. Food wise, we started off with some of their starter. Burmese chicken wings and added fries. The seasoning was quite nice and tasty. Tossed with fries, onions, bell peppers and garlic bits. Quite tasty. Shrimp basket, classic fried shrimp in rice paper. Just like an egg roll. They were quite nice and tasty. Crispy pork belly, marinated pork belly served with a tamarind sauce. The nice crunch and sweet sauce were all great together. Entrees, a mixture of everything to share. The spicy noodles which were pretty much similar to pad Thai. Stir fry noodles with bell peppers, onions, green onions, mushrooms, scrambled eggs, peanuts and adorned with shredded cabbage. Perry much their version of pad Thai. It was good but a little too sweet for my liking. Burmese style chicken biryani, slow cooked chicken thighs and drumsticks marinated in butter, yogurt, masala, ginger and served with biryani rice. That was a meal in its own. Tasty with the sauce and the chicken literally fell off the bone. Basil chili beef was quite nice. The flavors were really good and the beef was tender. Fiery pork was a recommendation from the waiter which was also a nice dish. Stir fry tofu with pork, red onion, bell peppers, string beans, garlic and a house special soy sauce. Tasty dish as well. Lastly the chicken red curry. Slow cooked with potatoes, onions, Marsala, paprika in a rich sauce. Served with steamed rice. It was good but the other dishes outshine it. We did like the food. Very similar to a lot of other Asian dishes but their version and take on it. Pretty much similar but change it up with the spices. Service was great and the place was nice. Glad we got a table on the patio versus inside.

I'm glad it did because she said there were a lot of people waiting outside at the PH location. By the time we made it to WC, our tables were ready. There were no long wait times for anyone who came after us, maybe 5 minutes. Crowds started thinning out around noon. This was the 1st time any of us dined at The Hangout and it did not disappoint. The staff was very inviting and friendly. The person who took care of us was very helpful with explaining menu items and making suggestions. We were a large party so they had to split our tables but we were right to each other. There is a spacious dining area as well as outdoor seating. Standout dishes: Chicken & waffle - BIG portion. The chicken was crispy and flavorful. It was so good, the entire plate was wiped clean. Crispy chicken with garlic noodles - delicious combination. The garlic noodles were made with real garlic, not just powder. They need to offer this as a side dish. Chicken pops - chopped up, sample size version of the chicken and waffles. Perfect for sharing. We will definitely come back to this location if we're in the area.

There were so many items that I wanted to try, but I only had one stomach. Came here on a Thursday morning and the restaurant was operating at around 20% capacity. The food: Garlic Noodle with Crispy Chicken - Garlic Noodles were tasty. The Crispy Chicken had really nice, almost tempura like batter. Wish it had a little sauce or something to bring it all together. Berry Lover Toast - Two large pieces of French Toast with a blueberry based inside, topped with a ton of stuff including sliced almonds, corn flakes, powdered sugar, sliced grapes and some thinly sliced oranges. There's a lot going on here. I did like the strawberry preserves as a topper - it seemed homemade and it wasn't too sweet. I didn't try any of my friend's Country Potatoes, but they looked legit. Good service and plenty of nearby parking. Properly named, as this is a good place to Hangout!

Although they're a chain, they did not disappoint and are truly a great addition to the food scene in Vallejo, especially if you're craving dim sum and don't want to cross the bridge. Food was tasty, service was friendly and efficient, and the pricing was more than reasonable. 88 Bao Bao is located in the Gateway Plaza shopping center. There is free parking shared among the businesses with several slots very close to the front. The establishment itself is intimate, but has a few tables for people to dine in, if they choose. We placed a phone order and the time quoted for pickup was accurate. Our order consisted of: - a Beef Roll - Shrimp Dumplings - Shrimp & Pork Shaomai - Wonton in Chili Oil - Chocolate XLB As noted above, quantity and pricing was on point. Flavor and taste of everything we ordered was fantastic. The chocolate xiaolong baos were a great way to round out the meal. Don't skip out on them if you have a little bit of a sweet tooth! 88 Bao Bao made a strong first impression. My family and I will definitely be stopping by again. Looking forward to trying more items off of their menu.

Crispy chicken fried rice - 10/10, chicken was juicy and super crispy, paired with two different sauces (1) some sort of creamy mayo aioli (2) sweet chili sauce; i personally preferred the sweet chili sauce. The rice itself was subtle, with a slight soy sauce flavor; definitely allowed the chicken to shine. Thai iced tea - 8/10, good thai tea. not too sweet, stronger on the tea side. Staff were friendly and food came out quickly. The restaurant is decent in size (has both outside and indoor seating), and had a modern, clean look. Overall, food was delicious and would definitely come back. (extra note: the menu has some interesting items that I'm looking forward to trying, definitely unique in comparison to other thai restaurants)

We got the tamarind prawns and pad Thai, both fine but for me and my friends taste, we couldn't taste tamarind flavor and the pad Thai was missing some oomph. I have a friend who really likes this place. To each their own! Maybe I didn't order the right items. They do have an extensive menu I feel. They have outdoor dining , and are in an outdoor strip mall with ample parking.
