We've had take out from Sushi Go many times, and it is our absolute favorite. We've tried other places here and there, and nothing compares, nothing lives up to what this guy does. He serves clean fish, it's not fishy, it doesn't smell old, it's always fresh. This is our first time dining in and I'm glad we did, makes it easier to get another roll if you run out. lol My boyfriend started with his favorite, the Hot Mama (slowly becoming one of my faves). It's a little sweet, a little hear, and CRUNCHY things that are sooo good with spicy mayo. lol I had the Red River. I loooove the smoked salmon, it's so good, so flavorful and clean. We got a third roll to share after we finished the first ones, this was a new one to us, the Monster Roll. It was absolutely wonderful, but maybe a little hard to eat because the pieces were so big. I think we've come here enough now after several years that we're starting to figure out our favorites. Pretty sure we've already decided on two Hot Mama rolls and a Red River next visit. lol So thankful for Sushi Go and the incredibly nice guy who is there every day, by himself, putting out the best possible sushi in a little spot in Hurst.

The food is amazing!! Great deal and price on all sushi rolls. The house salad has a nice avocado mix with spring greens and sesame sauce. Service is top tier, very friendly owner who always takes care of us! Definitely recommend!

Sushi in Dallas / Fort Worth ....hmmm. This place apparently used to be a pizza place but now has amazing sushi. Had nigiri and a roll - both excellent. Highly recommend if you're in the area. Great service as well.

Super friendly staff and relatively fresh fish. Place was spacious and the server was very attentive. Volcano roll was not memorable but the seaweed salad was the best I've ever had, not slimy at all and had a firm texture. Sashimi was cut thick and short but still tasted good, can't complain being sushi in Texas. The salmon nigiri and spicy tuna roll were also good. Would come back to satisfy my sushi cravings!

Found this place by accident while deciding if I wanted pasta next door or Thai. Glad I decided to walk in and give them a try! Sushi was fresh and affordable. It's an upgraded version of grocery store sushi for me. Owner was super friendly and while we were chit chatting my rolls were done! I'm excited that they have party trays for the holidays starting at I think $35! This will be my sushi Togo spot for all the upcoming festivities!

I stumbled across this little neighborhood sushi spot, and after reading the reviews I just had to try it. The owner/sushi chef was very friendly and knowledgeable - he walked me through his menu and offered suggestions. The first thing I noticed when I walked in - I didn't smell any fish (which is pleasantly unusual for a sushi restaurant). I ordered the Ahi Tower, the Elvis roll, masago nigiri & ebi nigiri. The seafood is all incredibly fresh! Even as a to go order, the fish was at the correct/perfect temperature. The portion size was incredibly generous for the price of each item. I was actually surprised at the size of each item - an absolute amazing value! They do not have a liquor license, so no saki/alcohol service, but that's not a deal breaker for me. The chef suggested I try the Hot Mama and Wonder Woman rolls next time (they both sounded delicious). They have a small, but well-rounded menu of appetizers, bowls, sushi, and rolls. An absolute hidden gem in the HEB! Please go and try this sushi restaurant - you won't be disappointed :).

Employee was super nice and helpful. Asked us questions on what we were looking for and pointed out the most delicious rolls. It is BYOB I wasn't aware of that. Liqour store across the street has sake! Grab a bottle and come check this place out. Delicious!

So, I had heard of Sushi Go previously by the fact I had seen one next to a bakery in Arlington we like to go too for their sales. Though usually when we are going to that bakery we are hitting it up closer to 10, which is before that Sushi go opens. When we saw this location open I decided to give it a shot with my youngest when my oldest was at nearby art day-camp. Service was outstanding, 5 stars! We ordered 3 kinds of sushi to split along with a Miso soup that my kid wanted to try. Everything seemed fresh and came out in a reasonable time. Thought the way they roll their cucumber rolls was a bit different than what my kid was used too, and each piece seemed bigger. When we sat to eat most of the orders seemed to be take out. So, really this place is a better quick service sushi option ... possibly not one where its a destination sushi place. We've been able to go grab some avacado rolls for my youngest on a few occasions when we've done birth day meals at someone's house where we know they are serving something he wont eat! For sure go to check them out!

I'm new to sushi but was looking for a good spot to try so I looked at a few reviews and came across Sushi Go. I was not disappointed at all, I even refer my sister here and she loves it too. The first time I came her was a Thursday 6/8 and got a Philadelphia roil, crunch roll, Dragon roll and a shrimp Tempura roll. They were all very delicious but the crunch roll was my wife and I'd favorite. So of course when I went back today 6/12, that's what I got. Still exceeded the expectations. The owners was there and seemed like a really nice guy, he try to tell me I would be back and he wasn't wrong! Really good cool spot. I'll be back again, for sure.

My receipt, showing I ordered one roll. Thought I was losing my mind...

First time trying this place based on so many good reviews. Mostly good - the order was incorrect, tho. Placed an online take-out order on their Yelp featured website, that uses GrubHub as their delivery service. I live pretty close to the business, so I opted to pick up my order. Ordered Crunch Roll and Shrimp Tempura (5). Went to the shop and two bags sitting on the counter, stated my name, and received one bag that Mr. Man seemed to believe was mine, but had no receipt nor tag on the bag. Got home, had two rolls; One was the Crunch Roll - the other I think might have been a Shrimp Tempura Roll. Double-checked my order - and yes, yes I did order the shrimp tempura, NOT the STR. Both rolls were okay.

I didn't expect to run into this place. Let alone expect to have one of my favorite dining experiences in a while. I parked my car and noticed the restaurant was empty? Granted I went in an hour before close. Regardless the owner greeted me, happy to see me enter his restaurant. I took a look at the menu on the wall that didn't have prices. I failed to realize the menus on the counter and tables had prices. Regardless, you get what you pay for so price didn't bother me. I ordered the dynamite roll and an extra roll that I can't remember the name of. I noticed they had Japanese sodas in the fridge and I decided to go all out and experience a taste of authenticity. Since I was the only one my order was prepared and delivered in less then 3-4 minutes. Presentation wise, the food looked delicious, fresh, and good to look at while being delivered in what looked like a boat. Even though it was a sushi restaurant, the music included hits from The Weeknd, Ed Sheeran, J. Cole and other popular artist. I was eating great food vibing out to the tunes. The owner and I began making conversation; thanks thang. There's nothing better then great food made by a great person. You can tell he loved his job. I appreciated learning about his background and what brought him to texas. Sometimes it feels like people are caught up in their own world and forget to just ask others how they are doing. My presence was definitely appreciated by thang. Just two strangers bonding over the love for the creation and consumption of sushi. Thang was very attentive and inviting. If you go make sure to have a conversation, it'll make your dining experience a lot better. The dynamite roll had so much spicy crab on top that I had to eat it first and then eat the sushi. It didn't take away from the experience as it was very delicious. Next time I'll probably only order the dynamite roll because it was a lot of food. Even though I was the only person there that night, the experience was worth the price. Great food, great music, great person. Im definitely going again soon. Source: "trust me bro"

But as a take-out sushi joint it is most definitely a 5* establishment both for value and efficiency. Tonight we mixed it up w a couple of rolls, a sushi sampler and the Unagi Don. You also can't go wrong with the sushi or sashimi dinner bento box. I sat down and the waitress came and asked me if I knew what I wanted, before I had put down my purse and opened the menu. I should have just left. I ordered the sushi lunch, it came with five pieces of chef selected nigiri and a California roll. The roll could have been tighter. The first piece I picked up, the filling fell out. Though I did appreciate that they use the pieces of krab instead of a krab salad mix. It was fine but nothing to write home about. The nigiri was a bummer. The texture was kind of chewy, like it had been frozen too long. Not that it was bad, it smelled and tasted fine, but I would rate this on par with grocery store quality. The salad was cold and crunchy but pretty flavorless and was half full of liquid on the bottom. The waitress asked me if I wanted anything else while I was still eating and brought the check. I was still out of there a half hour before closing time, but apparently not fast enough. The price point was surprisingly low, especially for this area, but I found no value in it.

Everything comes out quickly, as all of the proteins are pre sliced and ready to go. They were busy and the turn around is quick. They also do a lot of to go orders, and those were stacked up by the front door. I thought the quality of the fish was good for the price. I really liked the ginger dressing that comes on the salad, though it is a wild color. The gyoza just tasted like frozen dumplings you can buy at the store, and then deep fried. But they were good. The rice was cooked properly, and not mushy at all. The only thing I didn't care for was the California roll. It was super goopy and just tasted like mayo. I had to leave that alone. The atmosphere is very noisy and if you are sitting at the sushi bar, you hear the constant beeping of their order machine. I may try them again for dinner if it is a bit quieter, or takout seems like a good option, though there is no online ordering on their website.
