I have to admit I was a bit skeptical with there not being another soul in the place but my friend assured me that it was well worth it. The waiter was so nice and polite. The rolls came out really fast since it was only us there. Restaurant was really quiet and clean. Will definitely return.

Spicy beef yakiudon

Good food and large-portioned meals in an unassuming strip mall. The only real negative was my server didn't know what other beers they had besides Sapporo. He listed the names of them and I was unfamiliar of them, and couldn't tell me if they were an Ale vs. Lager etc. And when I asked he said he wasn't sure, and he didn't offer to go look/ask someone. Since I like Sapporo, I ordered it (but would have liked to know what others beers they had and what kinds they were). The spicy beef yakiudon was quite good. The meat quality and cook was good, and the ratio of noodles:beef:vegetables was very good. The sauce itself had just a little bit of heat to it, but by no means would I consider it "spicy" for someone who eats spicy food. Overall, it was good! But if and when we come back, I'll likely order something else.

I relied on the Yelp reviews and ate here! HUGE mistake. I will never trust restaurants' reviews in Phoenix after this. The service was cool but the food was not good at all. I was so disappointed when I left. I suspect the great reviews are from influencers or a related party. I was duped.

Wow--what a hidden gem! This has officially become my new go-to sushi spot. I came here with my boyfriend on a Friday evening, and although it wasn't very busy, the atmosphere was perfect. Our server was so kind--they even comped our edamame and surprised us with an extra discount in honor of the restaurant's 10-year anniversary. Such a thoughtful gesture! The food was incredible--fresh, flavorful fish and the edamame was spot on. We also ordered two deep-fried rolls, and they were gone so fast I didn't even have time to take a picture (always a good sign!). Everything tasted amazing. I'm so glad we found this place and can't wait to come back very soon!

If you're going to this location with friends or family, this is the order you need to get--it's called the Special Combo for 3 people!

Shrimp tempura, salmon crunch and calamari crunch rolls

I was hoping to give Sushi Bros 5 stars but sadly this visit and the last few have been a bit of a letdown. I decided to stop in for a quick lunch with my daughter. We ordered our usual, gyoza, calamari tempura crunch roll, salmon crunch roll and the shrimp tempura roll. The gyoza were nice and crispy and tasty but once the rolls arrived they were a bit of a mess. The rolls were so loosely rolled that when you tried to pick them up they immediately fall apart, everything in the center separated from the seaweed and rice. Not only were the rolls very loose and sloppy but the flavor was just not there. We used to love sushi bros but we are finding the quality has decreased and the prices have risen. The waiter was friendly and tentative and the restaurant was very clean, but it's not enough to reel me back.

Sushi was ok if you're looking for a quick bite! I wouldn't go as far to give it 5 stars.

It is in a little strip mall on Elliot and I've passed it many times and stopped in spontaneously one night. I'm so glad that I did! This restaurant is female owned and her family works in the restaurant with mom. The menu is very extensive-lots of mouth watering choices and if you're unsure of what some items are, the owner takes her time explaining various dishes, and based on your preferences makes great recommendations. They have everything from custom soups, delicious and intriguing custom curries and Bangkok street food! You can control the amount of spice and they actually use real Thai spices. I had lemongrass fish which could have served 2 people but I enjoyed almost every bite. I did share a few pieces with my husband who had already eaten! It was delicious and unique. Next, my grandsons choice will be Garlic Udon, and my granddaughter can order gluten free options-a big deal for us because she has celiacs. The prices are very reasonable and less than many places. I think we found our go-to Thai family restaurant!!!

She further gave us advice on what they are known for, which is pizza and their rotisserie chicken. We ordered the Teuffle cheese bread to start. OMG YUM YUM YUM! We decided to share our entrees. So we ordered the Aviator and black truffle mushroom pizza, a well as the Spicy rigatoni pasta. Holy cows... hold da brakes.... it was all so good. Honestly, everything we experienced today was so excellent from the service to the ambiance to the food. Holy moly, definitely coming back again! Totally recommend this place to anyone who wants excellent service and good quality food. Only thing that could make it better is to give a pie serving utensil to serve the pizza slices on the bread items, but really that ain't going keep me back from returning! It would just be a nice touch since the slices are larger than our knife.

I was browsing Uber Eats for Mediterranean food when I found Golden and realized they had something that looks an awful lot like Khachapuri (here it's on the menu as Aldo). So I abandoned my plans of delivery food and promptly made my way in to eat. We got a solid sampling of the menu: - hummus/foul - Aldo with cheese and an over easy egg (I think their default may be scrambled but they do over easy if you ask!) - stuffed grape leaves - labani + black olive flatbread - kufta with tomato sauce - shawarma chicken wrap Lord above, my heart was so happy. The foul is exceptionally garlicky. Perfectly so. My partner said the hummus was his favorite thing we ordered, and he's a pretty discerning dude! The Aldo was excellent. The grape leaves came out hot, which surprised me, but again - solid! Flatbread? Stellar. Maybe even better the next day. The kufta didn't particularly excite me, but I wasn't the one who ordered it, and my partner was happy. My shawarma wrap? Oh boy, that garlic sauce. They even perfectly portion the innards so your pickles aren't all stuck to one side and the fries to the other. You can have pickles in almost every bite! We also got several desserts to take home. I haven't sampled them yet, but the hazelnut baklava in particular intrigues me. Casual ambiance. Options for booths or tables, inside or outside. I am so thrilled to have found Golden - they'll be a regular spot for me!

We love Thai food and have our own favorite place, but are open to trying other places too…read more The other day we were getting Boba drinks and noticed a sign on a fried chicken place 2 doors down advertising that they now were serving Thai food, we remarked that we would need to try it soon and decided to later that week. When I first googled the name, a menu came up that had only the fried chicken options, no Thai food, so I called the location directly and was given the correct URL. I looked up the menu and it looked good so we called back and placed an order. For some reason they had no online ordering even though the page appeared to offer it. We took the food home - chicken basil stir-fry and pad thai. The food was absolutely HORRIBLE! The stir-fry was supposed to have fresh vegetables, but these were frozen mixed vegetables that are limp and gross - cuts of broccoli, crinkle cut carrots and peas. The chicken was minimal and I did not taste any basil. The pad thai sauce tasted like it was from a bottle - too sugary sweet and not a lot of flavors, there were also frozen vegetables in this, which is odd. The rice was over cooked and soggy, the pad thai noodles were also. We asked for 3-star heat (medium to kind of hot), there was zero spice in anything. Each entrée was around $20, so this was not inexpensive. The food was so bad that I couldn't even finish my dinner and leftovers went to waste because no one else in our house would eat them either. We were very disappointed and won't be back.
