Sushi Bowl absolutely deserves 5 stars. The best part is that the entire menu is all-you-can-eat, which makes the experience feel so much more worth it than places that limit what you can order. Everything came out fresh, flavorful, and fast, so going there hungry is definitely the right move. The service was outstanding as well. Our server was incredibly friendly, and after I accidentally left my hat behind, he actually chased me down to return it. That level of care says a lot about the people working there. On top of that, every single employee said goodbye to our party as we were leaving, which made the atmosphere feel welcoming and genuine. I will absolutely be coming back hungry again. The only downside is that you must finish everything you order, or else you get charged for whatever you take home. Still, that's understandable for an all-you-can-eat restaurant and definitely would not stop me from returning. read more

Considering the new business, I would say the servers are excellent keeping tables clean and ready for new plates for AYCE sushi. The atmosphere is contemporary, with led lights in a slightly dark setting, with shaded color backgrounds and seatings. There is are sports TV at the bar and pop music to give a fun vibe. Regarding the food, I would say decent but not entirely convincing for returning customers who are used to variety of seafood. Taste is good, yet not the best in fresh richness of simple fish like tuna and salmon. However, if you want a good filling at an affordable deal, then do come by! Just be mindful of large rice with meat plate. read more

Sushi Boss in Cherry Hill serves flavorful, high-quality food and has a unique atmosphere that makes the experience enjoyable. The biggest drawback is the ordering process. Since it's all-you-can-eat, ordering depends entirely on your server being available, and at times it felt like larger orders were met with hesitation. An easier ordering system, such as a tablet or order sheet, would make the experience smoother and improve the overall rating. Despite that, the food itself is excellent and worth the visit. read more

The AYCE is à la carte and not a buffet. There's plenty on the menu, including shrimp with noodles from the hibachi section which was one of my favorites. Great selection of sushi! I'd recommend coming around 5:30pm, as we did. The space fills up around 7pm and service slows down pretty drastically. Dropping a star because our server had the attitude of being so close to calling out but deciding to show up for her shift last minute. She took the order of one person on our table and assumed it included the order of the rest of the five of us. She rarely made eye contact and her smile dropped before she even turned around from our table. read more

Amazing is all I gotta say.. so worth the trip for really good all you can eat sushi, also they have hibachi. I love that I don't gotta get up and all the food comes to you. It can get packed pretty quickly. Not positive if they do reservations, but if they do, it's worth setting up a reservation, but if you're willing to wait, they will text or give you a call to let you know that you're up next to be seated.. I'm this guy and I'm a real person that gives real rates and say how it is. Nothing made up over here. I tell it how it is. Thanks read more

WOW WOW WOW. The first AYCE sushi/hibachi place I can give 5 stars to! I was super excited to try this place out especially since a friend of mine gave rave reviews about her experience. My family and I got there around 5pm on a Friday night. This place was already packed with people. We were able to snag a table in the corner. We ordered a few rolls to try and everything was fantastic. My favorite was the sushi boss roll that was 10/10 in flavor, freshness and presentation. I got the shrimp hibachi with noodles. The shrimp was so good! I just wish I got more than what they gave. All the fish tasted fresh and we got ice cream at the end. Overall a great experience! The staff was also friendly and accommodating. This was worth the long drive during Friday rush hour! :) Cant wait to return again already haha. read more

Wanted to try this new AYCE sushi place and see how it compared to the neighboring ones. This one is right outside Cherry Hill Mall and near Target. Menu: First AYCE sushi place that Ive noticed that charges extra per piece on certain dishes. Starting price per adult is $25.99 which is average for AYCE sushi places. The menu also has limited amount of options. Something that stands out compared to the other AYCE sushi restaurants around here is the Signature Appetizers and the Yellowtail appetizers. Other than that the sashimi and hot appetizers are very limited. Food: I always order miso soup, but unfortunately this one barely has a strong flavor. i've noticed that the house salad dressing is a mayo based rather than the traditional ginger dressing. The sashimi pieces could be a little more cold. A little more sauce on the jalapeño yellowtails. Service: Came on a sunday lunch. There were 5 servers for the entire restaurant, one power section. Service was slow even after half the restaurant had left. When we wanted to order more they were a little pissed (this was our first time asking for more). Half our orders get brought out each time so we have to constantly put it in again. i'm still hungry, but I don't want the food. No water refills. Every time I wave a server over they see me and look away. We were even seated next to the server station. Summary: While this new AYCE spot has plenty of room for improvement, we will stick with our old AYCE sushi spot. We were really disappointed in the service. We sat for majority of the time rather than eating. We were not even able to eat our moneys worth with the option and speed the food was coming out at. read more

First time here after hearing my brother in law rave about it. It did not disappoint. It had a nice variety of foods to choose from for the all you can eat- which I like! I don't eat much but o like to have a mix of foods I ca choose from to eat and the all you can eat is the way to go. They also had some drinks you can buy like milk tea and boba and these Japanese sodas, my daughter seems to enjoy. The service was great and they came out quickly with all the apps and entrees we decided to try's my favorite thing was the Rock shrimp. Only downfall is they don't have crab Rangoon, but I took the loss by eating more rock shrimp and other apps. I would come back again. read more

Overall, not a bad spot to check out for sushi cravings. One highlight of the experience was the free form structure - to my knowledge, there was no time or item limit to this AYCE. With that, you do need to take advantage when your waiter checks in to order what you can predictably eat. Items come at varying times and over ordering will cost you for leftovers. The food wasn't anything special, however there were no limits on sashimi which was definitely appreciated! Would have liked some more clarity on lunch/dinner times. We went around 2 and got charged dinner prices. read more

Finally, a good all you can eat sushi spot that actually lives up to the hype. I found this place on TikTok and, since I've been on a Cherry Hill date night streak lately, it felt right to check it out. At around $26 a person, it's honestly hard to beat. It was busy when we got there, but not the kind of chaotic busy that makes you regret going out. We were seated right away, which was a nice surprise. The menu was huge with tons of apps, sushi rolls, and hibachi options. Bonus points for having bubble tea and slushes on top of the regular drinks! The apps came out quick, and while the sushi took a bit, it's because everything's rolled to order. You can actually see the chefs working. There were at least six or seven of them behind the counter. The decor is pretty standard, nothing fancy, but the food quality more than made up for it. Overall, I left impressed and full. For the price, it's 100% worth it, and I'll definitely be back. read more

Came here with my husband and was pleasantly surprised. Restaurant was very clean and our server was attentive throughout our entire stay. Our appetizers came out fairly quick as well as our entrees. The sushi was beautifully presented and very fresh. We noticed there's a slight upcharge for certain items on the menu however there was such a large variety of items to choose from that we felt we didn't need any add ons. My husband ordered the strawberry lemonade and it was delicious! Very refreshing with lots of fresh strawberries. We will gladly be coming back! read more

This AYCE have a boba shop so drinks are made fresh but not with the buffet price. It's all one price but to me it is Great coming here on a weekday lunch to beat the weekend crowd. My 18 month old is a regular here - Chicken nuggets are for him. The service is always quick and friendly. If you prefer not to do AYCE, they do sell dishes but a la carte. My husband always gets the hibachi New York Strip Steak with noodles while I opt for the sushi. My favs are New York roll, Summer roll, eel sashimi, and one of the special appetizers. The desert that is included in the AYCE are vanilla and chocolate. read more

My favorite ayce sushi spot!! I'm here at least 3 times a month (if not more) Some say they don't think it's worth it for the ayce but there is such a good variety why not! read more

Went and they said it was a 40 minute wait but closer to an hour. Once we were sat the waitstaff was right there ready to get us started with drinks. Rolls were good, hibachi noodles were very good and overall good service. Crab ragoons weren't anything to write home about. I wish they had more dessert options other than just ice cream (everything else is +$$) for the all you can eat. read more

I went to this to try out as I saw a lot of hype surrounding the grand opening, The inside was actually a lot bigger, and the space looked really nice and had a nice low orange lighting My waitress was really nice and attentive, checking up on me multiple times. Good quality was decent, wasn't the best ayce quality but was decent quality. The New York stripe was actually really good, but the noodles I ordered with it was kind of meh. This place is more of a roll place, it is decently cheaper than other places since you wouldn't be getting sashimi, and is cheaper if you're not getting sashimi. Overall good and decent experience Some downsides were they don't really tell you how much one order was, I ordered two shrimp tempura, thinking i would get two pieces but instead got 6 pieces instead, 3 pieces per order. They were on the smaller side so easier to eat. I think one of my rolls that should've been a hand roll got confused and got put in as a regular roll. But it was super busy and noisy so I understand if the order was wrong and no big deal. read more

We've been here a bunch of times but unfortunately tonight will be our last. The food is decent, though the selection could be much better and they have a bunch of upcharges scattered across the menu. But what really disappointed me tonight was that after ordering 4 rolls, all we had left was 2 pieces from 2 of the rolls left. The server when cleaning up said we would have to pay $1.50 for those leftovers! I said that's insane and she said "I know it is, but if I don't charge you I'll get in trouble." Over a few leftover pieces! Not an entire roll or a full plate. I don't know what kind of management runs this place but I'm really not liking the way they treat their employees. Not to mention you quite literally have to finish every single piece of food or else they charge you. Lastly, they are dealing with some sort of trademark issue over their name, but have only changed the name on the website and nowhere else which seems extremely shady. I'm definitely never coming back here again. read more

I love sushi boss. They seem to be one of the only local sushi joints that has smoked salmon. Their hand rolls are delicious and they have a lunch menu/price that is still AYCE for about $20 during the week. Joseph was my most recent server and he was great. I recommend trying the clear soup and seaweed salad if you haven't had them before. read more

Honestly pretty crumby quality. The all you could eat was very affordable at $27 per person. I recognize that you get what you pay for, but even at that price I felt the quality was poor. The fish to rice ratio was offensive in most cases with numerous pieces having no fish at all. Some of the fish had that "fishy" taste you fear when trying something outside of your usual sushi spot. Not to mention the menu pictures were extremely deceiving and shouldn't be used as the actual product was very disappointing compared to the photos (see yellowtail jalapeño appetizer pic for an example). It wasn't very busy, yet the service was still slow. Ambience was ok and tables were spaced nicely so that you had some privacy. Truly the only reason I didn't give 0 stars was because nothing obscene happened like a hair in my food or anything. Will not be heading back here anytime soon. read more

First off, I wouldn't really call this place "all you can eat" in the true sense. While the base price starts at $25.99, there are several menu items that come with extra charges--even though they're listed on the same menu. For example, if you want sashimi, it's an additional $1 per piece. So if you order just 10 pieces, your meal total jumps to $35.99, which defeats the purpose of an all-you-can-eat experience. Sashimi isn't the only upcharge either--some sushi items also cost an extra $1, and certain hibachi dinner options range from an additional $6 to $8. Even ordering a hibachi combo dinner will cost you an extra $1 to $7 on top of the base price. On top of all that, the food itself wasn't as good as I expected. Between the hidden fees and the underwhelming quality, it just didn't feel worth it. read more

This might be the worst "all you can eat" sushi place I've ever stepped into -- and trust me, the bar was already low before this. Let's start with the basics: 1. The food was "meh" 2. This is NOT real all-you-can-eat. There are extra charges inside the menu. The price is cheap for a reason -- you'll understand once you taste it. Now let's get to the highlight of the night: Amy. Amy, if you're somehow reading this, congratulations -- you single-handedly turned a mediocre meal into a memorable disaster. I came in with my in-law, my husband, and my 5-year-old. I ordered a soup, a salad, one hand roll, and one specialty roll. I didn't finish them because the food wasn't good to me -- shocking, I know. But apparently, in Amy's world, that's a crime. My kid (who they charged $7.99 for, by the way, not free) barely touched her overcooked, rubbery steak noodles and sweet potato roll. Again, kid being a kid -- and again, we didn't order anything else for her. My husband and in-law finished pretty much everything except ONE piece of shrimp tempura. ONE. But every time they ordered something else -- like edamame or crab rangoon -- Amy gave us Olympic-level eye rolls, sighed loudly, and acted like we were personally ruining her day. She did this not once. Not twice. THREE times. From the very first round of orders. Amy, I didn't realize my husband and in-law were supposed to eat MY LEFTOVERS before they were "allowed" to order their own food at an ALL YOU CAN EAT restaurant where everyone has to pay. If that's your policy, please put it on the wall in big bold letters so customers know what they're signing up for. Honestly, if this is the standard of service you're proud of, maybe the restaurant should rethink who's representing them -- or just shut the whole thing down and spare everyone the trouble. This is the first time in my life I've ever left a zero tip. And yet, somehow, it felt like the only appropriate thing to do. There's a first time for everything. read more

Sushi Stars - I always tip 20% of my bill, not today Amy! - Japanese Near Me - Cherry Hill Township, New Jersey

I have high standards when it comes to sushi and haven't found too many decent places in the cherry hill area so I was skeptical. I ended up really impressed by this all you can eat sushi spot. I felt it was a great value at $28 a person for AYCE Sushi Plus hibachi included in the price. Hibachi alone is usually that price. My medium rare New York strip steak was perfectly cooked, and I could drink the yum yum sauce. The rolls were all very good and packed with fish- minimal filler. I thought their Philadelphia roll was one of the best because it was actually smoked. The cheese wontons and sexy stuffed jalapeños were excellent as well. Another random tidbit is they have the cleanest, best smelling bathroom we'd ever been in. My only recommendation- add more sushi rolls to the menu without crunch or tempura. My friends and I don't like tempura anything so we did notice a large % of the menu included it. Otherwise highly recommend for good sushi! This place was busy on a Thursday night for a reason. read more

This restaurant just opened this week and we were fortunate enough to stumble upon it. While they do offer AYCE (at a very reasonable price) we opted to order from the regular menu. We shared the sushi for 2 and couldn't even finish it (I guess it's a good thing they seem to have forgotten the salad ) The fish was fresh, the pieces were generous and they honored our dietary restrictions (no shellfish). The service was prompt and friendly. No complaints at all. We will definitely be back. read more

Love my roll I got the sushi boss roll but I do feel like the crab rangoons where a bit on the stiff side wish the chicken hibachi came with some yum yum sauce I would say my mango lemonade was a 10/10 though . Food was definitely above average compared to other ayce place especially the habachi. Service was disappointing. We finished the edamame and I guess it still looks full from the skin , the server automatically assumed and said they charge for leftovers. When she came back the second time, I told her she can feel the skin and all the peas are eaten , she responded she will ask the manager. I think she should have just asked first instead of assuming for a simple app dish. Also not to nikpick, but never seen a presentation of ice cream served like this before. read more

I came for dinner all you can eat for $26. It includes sushi as well as hibachi. Please note that for lunch it's cheaper $17, but do not include hibachi. Lunch is until 2:30 PM. After that it's dinner prices. Sushi was decent, don't expect it to be super high quality like Sagami, O Sushi, or Sushi Dozo. But for all you can eat, it was okay. I really like how they mix cucumber with spicy kani salad. If makes the salad more refreshing. Hibachi for me was the star. They use very good quality steak and shrimp. I hope they keep up with the quality of the meat, and not just give us good stuff to create hype at grand opening, then the quality dwindles over time. I will keep you guys updated. For now, it's REALLY good. Everting was perfectly cooked, juicy, not dry, perfectly charred, veggies was not overcooked, fried rice was mild, not salty. Miso soup was perfectly seasoned and the seaweed in soup tasted great, not oceanic fishy like some places. Gyoza was surprisingly good. Thin skin and fried up crispy and juicy. I was expecting thick skin and tasting like frozen gyoza, but this was a nice surprise Egg rolls were bad. Way too oily. They need to fry it at a higher temperature. Fillings were just salty cabbage. It's like eating oil logged wrapper. Service was great. They were attentive and friendly. Overall it's a good deal to me read more

For a soft opening they knocked it out of the park. Still Ironing out the kinks, but the food was excellent. Absolutely have to get the seaweed salad and the special salmon app. Sushi was fresh. The "basic" rolls were solid. Had the usual selection and they are executed very well. There is a large selection of "special" rolls that are thankfully not all fried and smothered with cream cheese. The kitchen apps were also quite good-the lemon pepper chicken was actual chicken and not just fried batter. Big fan of the rock shrimp as well. Can't beat this for the price. I hope they keep the quality this high-it is leagues above the competition in the area. Service was also excellent. Not the usual rush/hate I've felt at other places. The staff seems genuinely friendly and was great with recommendations. read more

As one of the latest newcomers to the Chery Hill restaurant scene, I can appreciate how they're trying to do things a bit differently. Not a buffet, and somehow still adding a spin to the AYCE scene. Food is great. Service is great too! I've been there several times. However, the last time I went I was charged for food that wasn't eaten. While I understand if food was ordered in abundance and wasted, it makes sense. However my family of 4 left 2 pieces of California roll (not 2 rolls, just 2 pieces) and charged a dollar. We didn't over order, my family of 4 only ordered 4 rolls total. We are scared to try anything new incase we don't like it, I don't want to be charged over what I'm already paying especially since my 2 teenagers don't eat much to begin with. We weren't even offered to take it home, just asked "are you all done here?" And saw the charge on the bill. I understand it's only a dollar, but it's the principle. I don't think I'll return and my family have been loyal customers. read more

I have eaten here 4 times. The first three were excellent both food and service. I do not order all you can eat, I order an entree from the regular menu. I would give 5 stars for my first three visits, this last visit gets 2 stars. To begin with, the waitress had very poor English. We had to repeat our order several times. She finally asked me to point to the entree on the menu. I ordered the sashimi combination dinner and my partner ordered the shrimp/scallop dinner. My partners dinner came but not mine. After almost ten minutes I got the waitress and asked where is my dinner. Another 5 minutes and she brought out my dinner, my partner's dinner was now cold. The waitress said sashimi takes longer to make, not true, I had this dinner twice before and our dinners came out together. As much as I enjoyed our first four dinners there, I did not enjoy this last dinner there at all. read more
