It wasnt bad service but felt a little unwelcoming...but thats just my opinion. We stopped in for a quick lunch on our costco/grocery run....food was still relatively good so no complaints there. After seeing Kyuramen on TikTok I had to give it a whirl and I was in south jersey so I was in the neighborhood. The restaurant is nicely decorated with a unique tree installation of art. There are private booths if you'd like a more intimate dining experience. Each table is nicely organized and equipped with seasonings and other items. The servers were attentive and polite. The food was excellent. I got the yinyang ramen and would highly recommend it. My fam liked their food as well, in particular the taro smoothie and shoyu beef bowl. This is a very solid restaurant that mainly specializes in ramen as well as other Japanese cuisine, like omurice and pork tonkatsu. We came in during a relatively non-busy weeknight. Though their individual booths required reservations, the restaurant managed to fit us in. Feeling like something other than ramen, we ordered the pork tonkatsu omurice combo. Seeing how they offer several fruit tea and boba options, we also got the Fresh Passion Fruit Tea to go with our meal. It didn't take long for the food to come out and it tasted very good. The portions were just enough for two people to finish and the tea drink wasn't overly sweet. The booth was nice to sit in, as it felt more private and was better for conversations. It took me ages to finally dine at Kyuramen and I'm kicking myself for waiting so long. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and had a short wait for a table. While waiting it gave us a moment to admire the decor, the atmosphere, and multiple displays of artwork created by customers hanging around the restaurant. They have private rooms/booths you can reserve which would be perfect for a group of people, but one of these days I'd like to sit at their bar. Service was great, the staff was friendly, and our food came out quickly (and hot!). I wanted to try a variety of items. Of course I came for the ramen, but the Popcorn Chicken and Pork Bao Buns were also calling my name. My fiancé and I split the Popcorn chicken and let me tell you, it was PHENOMENAL. The crispiest, most flavorful fried chicken I've ever had in perfect bite-sized pieces. It's really a must order. I chose the Katsuobushi Pork ramen because I love pork belly and some heat. It definitely didn't disappoint. I'd order it again but there are so many other offerings I need to try before I do. My fiancé went with the original Chicken Ramen #9. This was her first ramen experience and while she did enjoy it, she's not in a rush for ramen again anytime soon. I tried hers and, as with my ramen, there was lots and lots of flavor. I also really enjoyed my first ever bao bun, but between that, the popcorn chicken, and the ramen, I did have a little too much food. I actually can't wait for my next visit. Kyuramen was a great dinner spot for our family. The ambience is so fun! We sat in a "private" booth, which my kids loved. The staff were attentive and helpful, everyone we encountered was great. While we loved the booth, next time we'll sit in the open area so we can see all of the fun decor. The stars were the popcorn chicken and yam fries. We did like the ramen as well. We prefer our broth a bit saltier but that's just our preference. Overall the quality of food was fresh, and well made. Noodles were perfectly bouncy and chewy. read more

Very rude and unprofessional experience. I went here last night with a group of friends, and from the moment we walked in, we felt extremely unwelcome. We were greeted by a man who told us his name was Lee, although we later found out his real name was Kim. Right away, his attitude toward us was cold, aggressive, and disrespectful. As soon as he brought us to our table, he immediately asked how we were going to pay before we even had a chance to sit down or look at the menu. He then kept rushing us to order, making us feel pressured and uncomfortable the entire time. When the food came out, it was obvious it had been rushed because some of it was cold. Not long after bringing the food, he brought the check to the table, making it very clear he wanted us out as quickly as possible. One person in our group politely asked why he was being so aggressive toward us, and his response was that he had "worked all day." That is not an excuse to treat paying customers poorly. After we paid, he even threw the to-go containers onto the table instead of handing them to us respectfully. The entire interaction felt hostile, targeted, and honestly discriminatory. We came to enjoy a night out with friends and instead left feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. Customer service matters just as much as the food, and unfortunately this experience completely ruined our visit. I would not recommend this place based on how we were treated. read more

Alright. I have an addiction to this location. Went back for the 100th time on Saturday. My wife was in the mood for chicken ramen while I got the non spicy Sapporo ramen. Both of us ordered the fruit tea as well. Both ramen were flavorful and plenty. Price is decent and service attentive. We called ahead to book the private booths and never had issues with reserving them. Will continue returning. The only drawback is they stopped the stamp cards so no more free ramen or popcorn chicken after my 10th visit read more

The food was great. I came with my boyfriend and his parents. My boyfriend and I frequent the one in Chinatown in Center City but came here since it's closer to his parents. I ordered the creamy udon noodles. My boyfriend ordered curry ramen; his mom Chicken Shoyu and his dad the chicken rice burger. They all loved the food. My ramen was okay, it was pretty good I added a ton of cayenne pepper because the flavor was lack luster a bit for me. I have definitely had better ramen but this was pretty good! We wanted the omurice, and were disappointed that you couldn't order it by itself, only as a set which included a drink. And you're not able to customize the sweetness level of the drinks because it's already premade. But it wasn't too sweet, until we got to the bottom. I liked the taste the cucumber added to it. The omurice was brought out and the egg omelette was cut, though not in front of us, to the side. Very unenthusiastically I might add. I don't eat red meat and nowhere on the menu does it state that the fried rice has meat in it. But it does include pork. A bit shocking when I spit out the food. We have to do a U-turn to get to this pla. Outside is not that interesting but inside is like another world. They placed us in small cozy room made intimate by Japanese curtains. So special. Our waiter Jaden is so knowledgeable and will suggest some menu items if you are not familiar with their menu. We first tried the delicious and crusty deep fried gyoza dumplings. Then we tried the soft and delicious bao bun. I had the Tokyo tonkotsu shoyu ramen with black garlic with si much flavor. The most interesting is the pork tonkatsu omurice combo for $24.99. We also love the balanced flavor of the chicken ramen. All of it so delicious and flavorful. For desert, we got the mango crepe cake. Excellent in everything. We love this adventure.
