    Seafood Ramen specifically Salmon.

If you are an anime fanatic, you need to be here! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Before I get to the food the ambience dope and relaxing, the artwork on the walls, amazing and even the TV had on anime.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is beautiful and so clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When you walk in the gentleman who seats you is so chill and they give you the menu immediately and allow you time to look on the front and back, no rushing at all. They have sooo many different ramen dishes, bubble teas, lemonades, teas, and food variety is awesome. Food came out so quickly and everything was sooooo fresh and flavorful. I don't like eggs in my ramen but even they were flavorful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I went here for my bday lunch and I wouldn't mind going any time but on a Sunday was so calm and the vibe was phenomenal.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you are looking for a chill, delicious, comfortable, and just amazing restaurant. Rayaki is the place!

Not bad but not great. We tried the curry ramen, the vegetable ramen, and the salmon ramen all for takeout. The packaging was good with the broth in a separate containers. However, all three broths fell a bit flat and not very flavorful. The mushrooms in the vegetable ramen were overly chewy. I also don't think the noodles are made in house as they lacked that al dente fresh noodle flavor I've had at some of the top ramen places I've eaten at. I had high expectations based on all of the glowing reviews and unfortunately they did not earn one more from me today.

I've had my fair share of ramen places and this was disappointing. My friend and I both got the Black Garlic Ramen, the broth was bland. It did not have the umami flavor from the black garlic. The cha shu this restaurant uses is lean so it was tough and a bit dry. My other friend got the spicy miso ramen which was also bland. She ate a few bites and said she didn't like it. All three of us did not end up finishing our ramens. We also ordered the rayaki fries which had spicy mayo and garlic aioli drizzled on top. The fries on the bottom did not have any sauce therefore we asked if we would get more spicy Mayo- they charge $1 for a side of it. They should have drizzled more mayo on it in the first place. We all liked our iced teas and greens teas. Passion fruit iced tea was my favorite.

This place is great, I always come here with my friends and we have a great time. The rayaki fries are probably the best fries I have ever had in my life and the ramen is pretty good. They have an endless list of delicious drinks and appetizers that taste amazing. The staff is great always checking in and refilling your drink they are always so kind and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the wall art and a tv playing different animes compliment the atmosphere very well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

First time but definitely won't be my last. I had the seafood soup which had shrimp, scallops, mussels and another fish. The broth was very tasty and full of noodles. Extremely hearty and filling.

The interior here is very cute with anime on the walls. Perfect fir a casual spot to grab ramen. The ramen is amazing here. Full of flavor. I love the miso ramen and the black garlic ramen-both are flavorful without being over-powering or too salty.

I wanted yakitori and this place has it so I was excited to try it. The price for each item for the yakitori is a bit pricey. I got the fish cake, squid, wings, steak, sausages, etc. Overall, the yakitori was ok. I also got the fried squid as an appetizer and I liked it the most. For ramen, I got the black garlic ramen. The ramen was ok. I had better. As for the rice dish, I got the gyudon. It was decent as well. Overall, the food was ok. The service was good.

I've been to three different locations - cherry hill, glassboro and NE Philly. I like that they are consistent at all locations and you know exactly what you are going to get whether it's curry, teriyaki or ramen. Don't have a photo of the curry but it was pretty good and curry was flavorful. The teriyaki was probably my least favorite as I found the chicken a little dry or possibly just over cooked, ramen is good whether it's pork or steak and noodles are good as well. Skewers are tasty and there's a variety and the rayaki fries are also tasty and good to share.

Ramen was very good, I would return here the next time I'm in the area. The noodle's Al dente, there were at least 4 pieces of pork belly. I didn't like the eggs, seems like it's been peeled and soaked in soy sauce. The broth has rich umami flavor. Best of all, it was served piping hot!

Ordered the spicy miso ramen with a side lychee iced tea. The ramen was pretty good with the pork and egg in there with the perfect spice flavor to it. Lychee iced tea with it was the perfect combo to it, so refreshing. I absolutely love the anime artwork on the walls especially with naruto there, makes you feel that naruto vibe while eating ramen. Service was excellent and the place was very clean. I recommend if you're a ramen and anime lover.

3.5! Noodles were bouncy and fresh, but $16 for the small portion I got?! No, never finished a bowl of ramen in one sitting.

There are several other restaurants in the large, mostly Asian strip mall, but some close as early as 8 o'clock on Sunday. We artived pretty late and about 45 minutes before closing, but the staff was really friendly and accommodating. There was only one other couple eating while we were there. We ordered the shrimp tempura udon and the black garlic Ramen. Both dishes were very good and had a lot of flavor. I really liked the black garlic Ramen. The interior of the restaurant is really nice. It definitely adds to experience. I will be back to try some other items on the menu. I really enjoy Ramen on a cold night. Prices were reasonable.

Second time was recently, and honestly by accident (ordered to pick up, thought it was a different place, then after ordering, realized it was this place again). And this second time, it was worse. Most of the food was completely bland. Only the soup was inedible, as they poured it into the plastic container when it was way too hot, I got home and found the container melted most of the way through, and tasted like salty plastic. And again, everything else was bland and tasteless. Had to HEAVILY doctor the food at home to make it edible.

Genji also is credit card only. I have had the ramen a couple of times and it was pretty good but not great. However, it is nice to have this option while in Whole Foods. There are about 5 ramen choices. In addition, Genji offers Bao Buns, Sushi, dumplings and bubble tea. I have had the Bao Buns and their sushi and both again were pretty good. I do find Genji a bit expensive, especially since there is no real servers and the dining/seating area is shared with Whole Foods. There also is a dedicated Ramen shop less the one mile away so I would think their pricing should be more competitive. 3.5 Yelp stars.

Ramen, at least for me and in my humblest of opinions, is affected by the quality of several components. -The richness and depth of flavor of the broth -Texture and way the noodles hold up -appeal of plating -quality of accompaniments -utensils The ramen here is plated nicely, the shoyu egg cooked perfectly and the broth is pretty good - not itoxicasting or addictive like what I have come to expect but pretty good. I give this place extra marks because the execution and eating experience is well above average in thoughtfulness. Your meal comes served on a nice wooden tray, a mini mortar and pestle is provided so that you can grind your own sesame seed, fried garlic and pepper flakes, the soup spoon is a nice size and shallow enough with barely graded circumference of the spoon to prevent chin drips, cuz ummm why waste even one dribble of broth and the chopsticks are nicely ribbed for your eating pleasure. Ahem, no dirty thoughts here, just think about it. Noodles are slippery so the ribbing/design creates the perfect utensil to grab those noodles and transfer with minimum casualty to your anxiously awaiting mouth. All of these factors added up makes Genji Ramen a solid 4 star experience. Don't be skeptical because it is located inside of Whole foods. The dining area is open and great for people watching and you can fill your belly then grab a cart and shop away!!!

It was so tasty and nostalgic and reminded me of my family's cooking. The beef chow fun was tasty as well. My husband's soup was delicious and came with a wide mix of everything. The dumplings were so good and you can tell they are made fresh. The Singapore noodles were flavored very well and there was a great balance between the curry + spice.
