Rayaki is a chain restaurant that I've tried in Philly and this location was no different. Everything from our appetizers to our ramen was delicious and fresh. I ordered a chicken katsu as a side and it was also perfect. A nice sized thin chicken breast with a great crunch. This location is smaller than the Philly location but thankfully that doesn't mean much. It still has fun art along the walls and the same quality of food. The service was just enough and ok but not the best.
Love this place. My boyfriend and I frequently go for the delicious ramen. I always get the regular one, while he gets the seafood or shrimp one. It's a nice cozy location and we haven't had to wait for a table which is nice. The staff is friendly as well. They do have these delicious teas as well, which I always get because it's good. I believe I got the green tea or lemonade one and they were very refreshing. I will definitely be going back.
Not bad but not great. We tried the curry ramen, the vegetable ramen, and the salmon ramen all for takeout. The packaging was good with the broth in a separate containers. However, all three broths fell a bit flat and not very flavorful. The mushrooms in the vegetable ramen were overly chewy. I also don't think the noodles are made in house as they lacked that al dente fresh noodle flavor I've had at some of the top ramen places I've eaten at. I had high expectations based on all of the glowing reviews and unfortunately they did not earn one more from me today.
I've had my fair share of ramen places and this was disappointing. My friend and I both got the Black Garlic Ramen, the broth was bland. It did not have the umami flavor from the black garlic. The cha shu this restaurant uses is lean so it was tough and a bit dry. My other friend got the spicy miso ramen which was also bland. She ate a few bites and said she didn't like it. All three of us did not end up finishing our ramens. We also ordered the rayaki fries which had spicy mayo and garlic aioli drizzled on top. The fries on the bottom did not have any sauce therefore we asked if we would get more spicy Mayo- they charge $1 for a side of it. They should have drizzled more mayo on it in the first place. We all liked our iced teas and greens teas. Passion fruit iced tea was my favorite.
If you are an anime fanatic, you need to be here! Before I get to the food the ambience dope and relaxing, the artwork on the walls, amazing and even the TV had on anime. This place is beautiful and so clean. When you walk in the gentleman who seats you is so chill and they give you the menu immediately and allow you time to look on the front and back, no rushing at all. They have sooo many different ramen dishes, bubble teas, lemonades, teas, and food variety is awesome. Food came out so quickly and everything was sooooo fresh and flavorful. I don't like eggs in my ramen but even they were flavorful. I went here for my bday lunch and I wouldn't mind going any time but on a Sunday was so calm and the vibe was phenomenal. If you are looking for a chill, delicious, comfortable, and just amazing restaurant. Rayaki is the place!
First time but definitely won't be my last. I had the seafood soup which had shrimp, scallops, mussels and another fish. The broth was very tasty and full of noodles. Extremely hearty and filling.

They have an endless list of delicious drinks and appetizers that taste amazing. The staff is great always checking in and refilling your drink they are always so kind and the wall art and a tv playing different animes compliment the atmosphere very well.
The interior here is very cute with anime on the walls. Perfect fir a casual spot to grab ramen. The ramen is amazing here. Full of flavor. I love the miso ramen and the black garlic ramen-both are flavorful without being over-powering or too salty.
I wanted yakitori and this place has it so I was excited to try it. The price for each item for the yakitori is a bit pricey. I got the fish cake, squid, wings, steak, sausages, etc. Overall, the yakitori was ok. I also got the fried squid as an appetizer and I liked it the most. For ramen, I got the black garlic ramen. The ramen was ok. I had better. As for the rice dish, I got the gyudon. It was decent as well. Overall, the food was ok. The service was good.
I've been to three different locations - cherry hill, glassboro and NE Philly. I like that they are consistent at all locations and you know exactly what you are going to get whether it's curry, teriyaki or ramen. Don't have a photo of the curry but it was pretty good and curry was flavorful. The teriyaki was probably my least favorite as I found the chicken a little dry or possibly just over cooked, ramen is good whether it's pork or steak and noodles are good as well. Skewers are tasty and there's a variety and the rayaki fries are also tasty and good to share.
Ramen was very good, I would return here the next time I'm in the area. The noodle's Al dente, there were at least 4 pieces of pork belly. I didn't like the eggs, seems like it's been peeled and soaked in soy sauce. The broth has rich umami flavor. Best of all, it was served piping hot!

My husband and I come to this Ramen place several times a year. Every time that we come here, we are always greeted and sat quickly and given menus. The food came out hot and fresh. We ordered edamame and a spiral potato and then I got the shrimp tempura Ramen and my husband got the shrimp Ramen. The broth always has amazing flavor and it's not heavily salted like other places. While we were eating, we were able to watch some anime, which was really cool as well as look at some really cool artwork on the walls. read more
I was hoping Rayaki would live up to my first ramen spot, but sadly it does not measure up to Rai Rai. The chicken katsu was very crispy, but the noodles tasted like store shelf ramen and the broth was bland and lacking flavor. The bowl did come with plenty of toppings and it filled me up. The pork buns were not good at all, smothered in mayo. The buns themselves were soft, but the heavy condiments made them fall apart and hard to hold. read more
Came in for a late night dinner with the family. Felt warm and welcoming. Love the anime wall design. Food was good, should had try the ramen but maybe next time I will. Love some of their apps. Would come next time but get to try other stuff read more

I wanted yakitori and this place has it so I was excited to try it. The price for each item for the yakitori is a bit pricey. Ordered the spicy miso ramen with a side lychee iced tea. The ramen was pretty good with the pork and egg in there with the perfect spice flavor to it. Lychee iced tea with it was the perfect combo to it, so refreshing. I absolutely love the anime artwork on the walls especially with naruto there, makes you feel that naruto vibe while eating ramen. Service was excellent and the place was very clean. I recommend if you're a ramen and anime lover. read more

Heard about this spot on social media, and tbh I did not have high expectation for the food as much as wanting to check out the art. I am a huge black garlic fan, and when I saw it on the menu, I definitely was excited to check it out. Me and my bf ordered a ramen each, and 2 skewers. The green onion chicken skewer was SO BOMB - MUST GET. As for the ramen, literally everything you can dream of for an indulgent creamy bowl of soup. The broth is so perfect - fragrant, smooth, creamy, fatty, and black garlic just brings it all together. They give you soooo much noodles, and they were perfectly chewy. The char siu is just ok imo, but overall cannot ask for a better bowl of ramen for such a friendly price. read more
We dropped by on a Sunday afternoon for lunch and it was pleasantly quiet and chill. The restaurant is nicely decorated and they were playing some anime on the TV for the background. We ordered the spicy miso and tonkotsu ramen and enjoyed it for the most part. The broth and noodles were delicious and were just what we needed on a cold day! The only complaint we had was that the slices of pork were pretty dry. It might have just been bad luck that day, but it was pretty noticeable when biting into deliciousness and suddenly coming across something tough and dry while chewing. Overall, it's a pleasant place to eat with a very cool aesthetic and good soup base flavor. Will likely come back to give the place another shot despite the somewhat dry pork slices. Very good ramen spot with great service and amazing atmosphere. Went while on a trip to visit family and we enjoyed all the food! We got the Spicy Miso Ramen, Tonkotsu Ramen, and Miso ramen and it all was delicious. I wish I took more pics of the food but it was too good to just leave out waiting! Definitely try this spot out. read more
My boyfriend and I came here for takeout lunch on a Friday around 1:30 PM and were planning to eat it outside. They said it would take about 10-15 min so we decided to go nextdoor to TeaDo to get some bubbletea. By the time we returned the food was ready which only really took about 5 min. We got the rice cakes appetizer, seafood ramen, and tonkotsu ramen. It had rained earlier that day and the sun was starting to come out but they wouldn't let us use the table or chairs that were outside the restaurant which I thought was weird, we ended up sitting outside in front of TeaDo instead. My boyfriend enjoyed his tonkotsu ramen, his only complaint is that the pork could have been more tender but otherwise very flavorful. I liked my seafood ramen as well. They grill the seafood before putting it in the ramen which gives it a nice smoky flavor. You get 2 mussels, and 3 shrimp/scallops. The noodles were chewy and retained the broth. The ricecakes were chewy and the sauce was good but they weren't crispy. I've definitely been to other places with a better fried ricecake. It's a good place to get ramen without having to go over the bridge for philly. read more

We came at noon just after it opened on a Sunday, and glad we came early. The place was soon packed! Ironically, although this place is known for its ramen, none of us wanted soup. Instead, we went to town and ordered a couple rounds of gyoza, chicken skewers, fried squid, the pork bao and endame, even a few avocado and mango milk teas. Everything was under $6, but our final bill was over $50 with so many orders. Still, not bad for three people who filled up on so many different options. Everything was delicious. We only had one minor complaint and that was none of us really like the spicy mayo as a condiment for some of the dishes. We asked for it to be skipped on the next round of the bao and that made us happy. Bring cash and save 6%! read more

I came here for the pictures ! This place reminded me of cool spots in the art district of Wynwood Miami with graffiti all over the walls. It was ramen day. Joking... was in that mood for Ramen and this place was close by and looked very appetizing. Initially I almost gave up because it's outside sitting only. I grabbed a menu, walked outside and the weather was actually good. So I ordered. Shrimp tempura ramen. Was really good. Tasty, well seasoned and not too thick of a broth. The shrimp was bomb. I truly enjoyed the meal. The water came in one os those sealed cups were they put bubble tea. I thought it was pretty neat. read more
My favorite place to eat ramen in Cherry Hill. The Black Garlic Ramen has been my favorite so far. It has Cha Shi, bamboo, kikurage mushrooms, red ginger, fish cake, scallions, black garlic oil, pork soup base, and seasoned egg. Everything is cooked to perfection, and the flavors go well. The gyoza is good. Seems a tad small to me, but very tasty. Today I am tried the bacon wrapped quail eggs. Wow! Fantastic! There are three on a skewer. Crispy bacon around a boiled quail egg. Great Ramen and a really delicious Bao bun. My mom and sons had a great time here slurping up noodles and taking photos with the robot outside. My kids favorite part. Solid place in a great shopping center that has a bunch of cool options. We will be back. read more

On my way to New Hope PA, and did a detour, yes a BIG detour LOL!! Ramen has been hard to come by here in Delaware, so me and my youngest ventured out to Cherry Hill to try this amazing place. Due to covid, there is no eating in but they do have tables outside to eat or you can get take out. They also have paper towels and cleaning solution near the entrance/exit so you can wipe the outside tables off (thumbs up). I got the ramen with black garlic, my daughter got the miso ramen and we got the rayaki fries I think it was called. The food was delicious!!! This has to be the best ramen I have ever tried!! I had been wanting to try Rayaki since their opening and finally made it over last Friday. I can't believe it took me this long as I live and work so close by. There are not really any true Ramen restaurants among the multitude of Asian restaurants in my native South Jersey, so I was very happy when they opened. (Whole Foods in Ellisburg has a Ramen counter and Zushi Dozo also serves Ramen). The inside of Rayaki is pretty cool and one can easily forget that they are in a strip mall. The anime and artwork add to Rayaki's hip vibe. The bathrooms have bidets and although I am not sure how I feel about that, they were very clean anyway. We ordered the spicy Edamame and this was really good and came out hot. It was so good we kept burning our fingers opening the pods. I chose the Spicy Miso Ramen with Miced pork, seasoned egg, bean sprout, bamboo, scallions, mayu oil, miso soup base (pork soup base). I thought this was delicious but it brought the heat and plenty of it. My daughter ordered the Black Garlic Ramen with Cha Shu (Marinated Pork), bamboo, kikurage mushrooms, red ginger, fish cake, scallions, black garlic oil, pork soup base, seasoned egg. I would definitely order this again. The prices for a bowl of Ramen are about $10.00 more or less. There are some other cool things on menu I would like to try. 3.5-4 Yelp stars and a nice addition to Route 70. P.S. The bubble milk tea really helped to cool some of the fire from the spices. read more
We were in the area and were about to revisit Dolsot House for some Korean fares. Unfortunately, the line was out of the door on this Saturday evening. After 35 minutes of waiting we were still standing outside looking in, Rayaki was conveniently located right next door with great Yelp ratings, so we changed our plan as a form of making a statement :) Ramen restaurants naturally have a quicker turnaround time. And we got a table for 5 after about 5-10 minutes wait. Upon entering the restaurant I couldn't keep my eyes off from the manga murals which covered all the walls. To me that's one of a kind and super cool. Menu was simple. The entire menu fit on a small order form. We simply wrote the quantity next to the dish we want. Now the curve ball: We loved tonkatsu, the Japanese deep fried pork breaded with panko. So 4 out of 5 of us all ordered the Tonkatsu* Ramen!! When the ramen got served, we all scratched our heads -- where were the deep fried, breaded pork cutlets?! In front of us looked like soy sauce marinated pork belly which could go with 2 small bowls of rice!! I asked the waitress twice to make sure they didn't give us the wrong dish. She reassured us. Oh well... Disappointment aside, the ramen's got everything, well presented, and price was super fair. The broth was flavorful but on the verge of being too savory. The marinated pork was what made the whole dish TOO salty. That was a shame because any other preparation of the same protein would have been fine. Yep, the only other ramen we ordered, the Steak Ramen, was indeed perfect. Despite the disappointment, which was partly our fault (see * below), I still appreciate this eatery very much: great value, hip, BYOB, and simply fun. I would like to try their Rayaki Fries next time. *I later found out that we confused Tonkatsu with Tonkotsu -- yes, just 1 letter off !!! The former is the deep fried breaded pork cutlet we were thinking, while the latter is simply one of the ramen recipes noted for its cloudy white pork bone broth. Lesson learned. read more
