$95 for 16 course omakase, BYOB, and 10% cash discount. Service was quick and attentive anytime my glass was empty. However, the fish was very underwhelming. The mini croissant was straight overpowering with butter flavor. The uni was not fresh and the worst uni I've had.

wow so yummy sushi omakase! it's a good number items and they have addons at the end too if you want that are also yummy. i like when they have shrimp nigiri. v good. wow! Whoa! yum. they have byob too if you want to bring your own drink.

Love the fish and presentation.. Everything was fresh but the experience was a bit lacking. This was my first omakase and considering it being an imitate setting, I expected it to be more engaging with the chef but the chef was stoic and the dining felt a little rushed. We were also seated on the side with a poor view of the chef. Maybe that's a typical omakase experience but I expected more.

If you're looking for a great omakase option in center city, come to Kichi! They offer 15 courses at a price of $95pp (+ tax & tip), with a great intimate ambiance. The chef is knowledgable and you get to watch all the preparations, including torching & sprinkles of gold dust - some courses were classics while others were unique preparations. The experience was well paced between each dish, allowing time to savor each bite. Service was amazing too, and I would definitely come back again! For reservations, you have options for upstairs seating (which is more quiet and intimate) or downstairs on the main floor. I dined on both floors and the experience was equally as good. Some of the highlights include: Sea scallop w/line Sat water eel A5 wagyu beef Fatty tuna w/sea urchin caviar Tuna soy marinate Japanese makerel Fatty Salmon ...and more!

- Service: Good. - Ambiance: Nice. We sit at the bar so we could see everything the chef does. The seat is comfortable. - Food: This is my very first time I've ever had omakase and it was really good. Everything is just so delicious, flavorful, and fresh. Over $100 per person but it's omakase right in Philly center so it's understandable. It's pretty easy to make a reservation and all the chef's selections are great. Would definitely come back when my wallet gets bigger and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Incredible value and the kindest staff! Omakase was fantastic, high quality, well paced, and a steal for the price. The restaurant itself is lovely and much larger than it looks from the outside. The sushi bar is comfortable and gives you a great view of the chef. I'm surprised there's not a waitlist to get in here. Ordered takeout on multiple occasions as well and the presentation is unmatched! Will continue to support Kichi!

Very good quality omakase experience for the price. Has the standard heavy hitters such as otoro with caviar, Hokkaido scallop, uni, etc. and all of it tasted very fresh. Would definitely come back. Nothing that was wow-factor, but for the price, they did very well with the lineup. 15 courses including a cheesecake dessert. BYOB, make sure to bring some good sake and share a glass with the chef.

It's a BYOB omakase spot in the city that requires reservations. The 15 course menu features premium ingredients like foie gras, king salmon, otoro, and A1 wagyu beef. I really like how each piece is paired with unique supporting elements that highlight its flavor. The entire experience lasts about 1.5 hours and $95/ person before tax and gratuity, they also provide an a la carte menu to add on the experience. They can accommodate some dietary restrictions, but since it's primarily a sushi focused menu, vegans may want to skip this one. A great spot to celebrate a sophisticated birthday.

This place is PHENOMENAL! First time doing something this intimate, and boy oh boy do I suggest it! Our sushi chef Erick was beyond informative on what he was making us and would describe the fish in great detail. I tried keeping up on each piece that was selected so here's what we got.. Shrimp w\ sea urchin butter caviar Amberjack w/sesame sauce Fluke w/umi and fluke flake Gold line fish Spanish mackerel w/ginger Japanese mackerel Salmon with goose liver Blue fin tuna Tuna soy marinate Fatty tuna w/ sea urchin caviar A5 wagyu beef Sea bass w/lime Sea scallop w/lime Sweet and blacked cod Salt water eel Dessert 10/10

The sushi here was definitely fresh and delicious! The sushi chefs were friendly and service was quick. The dining area is intimate and perfect for a date night. Removed a star only because I didn't think the omakase was unique or outstanding. Typically, I look forward to enjoying fish that I normally wouldn't be able to order at standard sushi restaurants. But I definitely recommend this place to those who want to try omakase for the first time.

The sea urchins here are divine. Exact same taste that I've missed for 12 yrs as the ones in Hakodate morning market. And when I asked, they did import their fish from Hokkaido. Unbelievable experience and Chef Alex definitely loves his job. The waitress offered some in-house sake, which was super kind! 10 out of 10 :-0

Had a 5:30 PM reservation, right after they opened at 5. The server was amazing--I brought lukewarm sake (because July), and she put it in an ice bucket right away. I asked if she could add water to the sake chiller to speed things up, which she did. It still wasn't cold fast enough, but I didn't want to bother her. Even so, she checked in again, asked if it was cold enough, and when I said no, she took it upon herself to make it right. That kind of attention really made the experience better, and I truly appreciated it. The sushi was good quality for the price. The 16-piece set was just right. I do wish the garnish had more flavor--it was barely more than a dot. Decor is nice, though I'd prefer chill lofi or zen music over American pop. And while I get that it was just opening time, a bit more chef interaction would've been nice. Also, small thing, but seeing one chef not in uniform made it feel a little less polished.

Bob H.

Felt spoiled being served delicious morsels prepared by expert sushi masters. The wagyu beef and foie gras nigiri, the oyster in a yuzu foam, the uni, and the toro nigiri were highlights.

I think the last time I was at this corner munching on something it was a different place. But, on…read morethe multi-festival Saturday, second of May in the year 2026, I can definitively say that I've now tried the little seafood spot on one of our favorite corners, that we're almost always just passing by to get to Time. First, the friendly, informative service: in an oyster bar with a rotating fresh selection, that's an underrated must. We were seated outside, given a rundown of the menu and "as it's ready" flow of the kitchen. We got a pair of cocktails, the Melonata and a Tequila Julep. I think the Melonata might be my new summer favorite. It looks like Ecto Cooler but doesn't give a distinct feeling of growing diabetes while drinking it. In grown up terms, it was well balanced, not too sour, not too sweet, and deeply herbal, fruity, and refreshing at the same time. The Tequila Julep was a Mint Julep with tequila instead of bourbon. It was good, though it's hard to mess that set of ingredients up. We got a selection of oysters and a shooter. Every oyster was distinct and different. Felt like there were no "different on the menu but same in flavor profile" that you can sometimes run into. This implies it's well curated. I have no idea, because I'm not an expert fishmonger, nor do I know whether that term specifically applies here - case in point. Anyway, I got 2 from Washington State, and another from Cape May. The first WA was large, buttery, and had the satisfying chew of young coconut flesh. Semi sweet. The second was smaller, sharper, and briny as hell - tasted of the ocean. And finally, the Cape May was mild and fresh, a good balance between the two others. It was a perfect little tasting menu that I'd created by just ordering the first three guys off the list. Not sure what selection came with the shooter, but the concoction in the shot glass shooter was bright green and pickly. Glad I got it as a contrast to the classics with what I assumed was red wine vinegar. Besides that, we snacked on salmon avocado toast with the Calabrian Chili Oil. It was also very, very good. Sometimes things are better than the sum of their parts. This is true here, but it's also worth noting that the individual parts - the bread, the smoked salmon, the chili oil, the avocado, the shaved onions - were excellent in their own right. We will be back for sure.

Placed an order for drinks, oysters and the rest of happy hour menu and choice selection of regular menu. I assumed things would come out staggered. Usually cocktails and raw bar would come first. But no. Raw bar came after sandwiches and wings so that threw off the ambiance. I still hadn't received my drink as more food was being delivered around me; and while I was watching one bar staff crouching under the bar on their phone, after a while I was like...do you know if my drink is on the way? It was her. She forgot. Literally It's first seating at the bar. Anyways wings were fine. oysters and clams great. Shrimp toastie & fish Sandwich fine. But when it came to the Al Pastor Octopus that I generally love here, this one was both chewy and slimy. Like the whole sleeve of the octopus had a slime layer- , was it the tentacles part? I had to keep spitting out. Not a nice chargrilled taste but each slice chewy with slime layer. Bleh. So disappointed. Threw the $20 into the trash. Didn't even get an "oh no" from the staff. Like why did we not want it when asked and I made the face. each bite was slime We settled up and immediately went next door to eat at double knot and that, per usual, WAS 5 star amazing.

This place is FIRE!!!…read more Best oysters I ever had, and they came with a lot of oyster liquor (natural juice that oysters produce, a mix of seawater from their habitat and their own internal fluids such as hemolymph (the invertebrate equivalent of blood) and cellular fluids). The oyster liquor makes it so the oyster remains fresh btw as well which is obviously uber important. We had oysters from Maine, Rhode Island, and Connecticut and all of the ones we chose you could taste the unique differences from one to the next. Crab cakes were on point; the vegetables were next level with the side of asparagus coming with roe on top of it. New England soup was actually light and not heavy like most creamy NE soups which I appreciated as it made me have room for the rest of the meal. We also indulged in some Butterscotch Pudding which in my view had three distinct flavors. The very top tasted similar to sweet creme Brule, the actual pudding was creamy and delish and there was a garnish of whipped cream I believe on top. All items surpassed my expectations and we will definitely be repeat customers. Highly Recommend. As always people SYOY!!!!

It's casual but you won't be out of place if you dress up. For food, we started with the crispy calamari that came with a citrus frisee salad and was already sauced up. It was a unique style that I enjoyed and much lighter than other calamari dishes I've had. The petite plateau was perfect for sharing among the 4 of us. Everything was fresh and delicious while being presented so beautifully. The cocktails I had were good. They were different from ones I typically order which I thought was fun to experiment with new flavors to see what I like. One had a pickle garnish and the other was with a non-smoky mezcal. For entrees, most of us got pasta which were all handmade and tasty. My favorite was the one with crab & vodka sauce. The cacio e Pepe & mushroom ones were also good. What stood out the most during the meal was dessert. We got the double chocolate mousse and that was one of the best chocolate mousses I've ever had! It was so gorgeous and topped with a sunflower seed praline & had tangy passionfruit sauce at the bottom which made for a flavor explosion. I was so impressed! The key lime panna cotta was also a work of art topped with candied sourdough that provided a nice crunch to the creamy texture of this dish. It was so yummy! I can't wait to go back again!

When talking to my kids about experiences vs objects for Christmas, my 7 year old requested a fancy restaurant for steak and lobster, just the two of us, and this was the perfect pick. Every one was so kind to him and made him feel special, I think every male staff member stopped at the table with a kind word for him and, upon hearing that he wants to be a chef someday, to say they can't wait to eat at his restaurant. I got the berries and bubbles cocktail for the dry ice spectacle, but it was also really delicious. The bread basket was really great, and our steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly, but the real star was the sides and sauces. The asparagus with hollandaise was the winner for me, the hollendaise was silky and had a little kick at the end. The truffle mac and cheese was the other top pick, really amazing. Creme brulee was the perfect shared ending to the meal, it comes with a lot of berries on top, not the usual single strawberry, and the freshness was really needed with the rich creme.
