    Pork bun for $2.50
    Allie A.

Felt a bit peckish and didn't really want a full meal, but had heard lots of nice things about this place. It was a little difficult to find in a tiny plaza with storefronts not facing the main road - I ended up overshooting the entrance and parking at the Wawa next door (shhhh) and walking over. First thing that struck me was how nice and cheery and bright and sparkling clean this little spot was. I chose two of the char siu buns (steamed buns with pork inside) - $2.50 each. One bun is fine as an appetizer since I really wasn't that hungry. It could have used a little more meat, but it was very tasty. If you bring one home, the best way to reheat is to wrap it in a damp paper towel and microwave for just about a minute.

Heard about this fairly new spot and had to stop in. Cute little storefront, very clean and pleasant employees! Ordered a few buns, the Big Bao, spicy beef bun and cha siu bun. They did not disappoint! Great flavor and a good amount of filling in each. For $3.50 and $2.50 a bun, great price! Also order the sesame oil noodles which were very flavorful! Topped it off with a Mango Iced Tea. Very refreshing with fresh fruit in it. Definitely stopping in again!

Good food for a good price. We ordered a noodle dish and two buns between the two of us... $20 total. Not a bad price at all. We got the big bun, spicy beef bun, and grandma's spicy tender spareribs noodle. We were expecting it to taste similar to the Vietnamese big bun, but it is different. Soft bread and decent amount filling. The spicy beef bun has a slight kick to it. Our favorite was the noodle dish. The spareribs were tender and came right off the bone. Flavorful noodles. Very clean inside the restaurant and aesthetically pleasing. Very simple/clean decor. Will be back to try other menu items. The ladies working up front were extremely nice.

New spot! I thought it was interesting it was so close to Nan Xiang but more casual spot if you wanna just take out or eat alone. I got the peanut chicken bowl, grandma's special spicy beef noodle bowl, shrimp dumplings, big bao and char siu bao. The bao's and dumplings were chef's kiss. The outer layer was so soft and delicate. The dumplings you can def tell are handmade. The bao's are HUGE especially the big bao. The shrimp dumplings were definitely my favorite dish The noodle bowls were good but definitely eat fresh! I was so full from my dumplings I didn't eat them for awhile and micrwoaved them and was definitely not as good as they would have been fresh. The workers were so nice and accomodating and made sure I had all the sauces for my dumplings and the to-go bags were so cute! Definitely recommend if you have a dumpling craving

First time trying Baomama and it was really good! Finding the place wasn't too hard and there's plenty of parking. The place is not too small, plenty of seats and tables. You're greeted as soon as you come in and you order at the front. The menu is basically baos, dumplings, noodles, and teas. We order two beef noodles, fired pork chive dumplings, and cha siu bao. The noodles were very good. I believe they were hand drawn noodles and they packed A LOT. We were under the assumption it was a soup, but it was dry noodles (meaning it has a sauce) the meat was very tender and when you add the chili oil it taste better (imo bc i do like spice). The dumplings were really good. The filing to dough ratio was pretty well done. However, the bao buns weren't that great. the filling itself was good, you know, the flavor was there, but the bread wasn't soft nor airy. The bread was a little dry to me. Overall for the price of $38, it wasn't bad at all. i'd definitely come back!

I'm starving and it's cold on a Friday afternoon in Cherry Hill. I saw the sign for a new restaurant (after looking online I guess it's not that new). This place is new to me! The first thing that hit me about this place was how clean everything was. Not a spot could be seen. I came in around 1 so admittedly late for lunch for me. I approached the counter and a very nice woman greeted me. I quickly figured out what I wanted and started to order when I found out that they had sold out of it! I must have good taste. Then the woman at the counter politely asked if I wanted another item because it was pretty similar. I agreed and got the spicy pork noodles. I also ordered pork and shrimp pan fried dumplings. I sat at a table with my coworker and waited for a relatively short period of time until our food came out. It was very cute and underneath all the toppings are some very bomb noodles. Little did I know that this is exactly what I wanted this afternoon. The noodles were bouncy and thick and after a bit of stirring, covered in the sauces. My dumplings also came out a very cute pink color. The dumplings were good and the sauces they came with were delicious. The bottom of the dumpling was a bit thicker but honestly... I loved it. The noodles were hot and spicy and savory and when mixed with all the toppings were amazing slurped. I finished my entire bowl and was full. I think this is a perfect takeout or sit and wait spot. I think in the future when I'm not starving I would let my noodles sit a bit in the sauce to really get the flavors married. All in all. This is a welcome addition to Cherry Hill in my book. I will come back again and it will be the restaurant I tell folks to visit now. Thanks for the meal!

Food- service- ambiance- . Friendly folks with a smile who are courteous and helpful. Small little place. Cozy to sit a handful of folks. I like me some dumplings so, good to know this place is here in a popular shopping area.

First time there and I will definitely be coming back. Amazing atmosphere, very clean, the food came out quick, the bums were fluffy, warm and filled with meat, and the noodles were my favorite!!! I also had a passion fruit iced tea that was amazing and refreshing

Highly recommend, great place to pick up bao or dumplings as a quick snack and noodles for a full meal. Their bao have generous meat fillings and noodles were perfectly cooked. The camellia milk tea was so good, very fragrant and freshly brewed. First time I've heard of this tea. It's a stand out compared to the usual milk tea made from powder. We'll definitely be back!

The food was delicious, it tastes like everything is home made even the dumpling sauce which compliments the dumplings perfectly. I also got the zhajiang noodles and they were the best pork minced noodles I've had around here. The place has a great amount of seating perfect ambiance for a date and the service was quick! Definitely coming back

My husband and I went back again the other day. We tried one of their noodle dishes, and the dumpling sampler. Everything was delicious!

    Cha Siu bun

Ordered takeout and was not disappointed with the packaging and food! The woman who took my order on the phone was thorough and double checked my order. We ordered a lot! Sturdy bags, reusable containers for the noodles, corn/compostable containers that were labeled for our fried dumplings, sturdy plastic bag for drinks AND they even wrapped the mini sauces in saran wrap to keep from spilling in our car. The 6 pork dumplings and 6 beef dumplings did not make it home... Eaten in the car as they were SO delicious. No photo there. Cha Siu bun (photo) is delicious. Bun is chewy and holds up well with filling inside. One bun (and 6 dumplings) had me almost full. The vegetarian bun had the filling minced very nicely. The chili oil helped as I would've liked some salt in the filling. Shredded chicken noodles were good and came with cucumber, carrot and an egg. Although noodles were a little dry. The Scallion oil noodles had much better flavor and I will be ordering again. Marinated beef noodles had similar tasting noodles as the chicken one but came with sliced beef and an egg - both overcooked but I think would be better in person fresh. Our drinks came with a cute butterfly drink sleeve and happy quote :). Overall will 100% demolish some pan fried dumplings again, Scallion noodles, buns, and likely marinated beef in person.

Steamed dumplings sampler - meh, nothing special

I got the congee with salted pork and century egg as well as the beef chow fun. My husband ordered the specialty wonton soup and scallion pancakes. My MIL got some vegetable dumplings and shrimp wonton soup and my FIL got the Singapore noodles. The congee was so tasty and came out in a large bowl, but our server got us smaller bowls to share it. It was so tasty and nostalgic and reminded me of my family's cooking. The beef chow fun was tasty as well. My husband's soup was delicious and came with a wide mix of everything. The dumplings were so good and you can tell they are made fresh. The Singapore noodles were flavored very well and there was a great balance between the curry + spice. The scallion pancakes were nice and crispy. The dishes all possessed very traditional Cantonese Chinese flavors! It was pretty slow when we came in, but the place started getting crowded quick and they were pumping out a lot of take out orders. The service was good and place was nicely decorated inside for dining in. I would definitely go back next time we visit my husband's family!

We ordered the chicken lo mein (without vegetables for my nephew), diced dry spicy chicken, xiao long bao (XLB), pan-fried Sheng Jian Bao, chicken feet, crystal shrimp dumplings, and egg tarts. The chicken lo mein was perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of salt and flavor. The diced dry spicy chicken came with a side of rice, which balanced the bold seasoning nicely. The chicken was crispy on the outside while remaining juicy on the inside, and the spice level was around a 5/10, which is enough to give it a satisfying kick without being overwhelming. The XLB wasn't served with julienned ginger, as some restaurants do, but the broth inside the dumplings had a subtle ginger flavor that was a pleasant surprise. The dumplings were well-seasoned and flavorful enough that they didn't even need soy sauce. The pan-fried Sheng Jian Bao (five dumplings per order) was slightly less authentic than I expected. While the flavor was spot on, the filling lacked any soup, and both the top and bottom of the bao were crispy (typically just the bottom of the dumpling is pan-seared). They ended up tasting more like well-made pan-fried dumplings than traditional Sheng Jian Baos. The chicken feet came three to an order and were tender, with a savory sauce that had a hint of sweetness. The crystal shrimp dumplings were fresh and delicate, and the egg tarts made for a great way to finish the meal with their flaky crust and creamy custard filling. The service here was excellent. Our server spoke almost perfect English, which isn't always expected at restaurants specializing in authentic dim sum. The food arrived quickly, piping hot, and they accept both cash and credit cards. The restaurant is fairly spacious, though it doesn't have the large banquet-style atmosphere you might associate with some traditional Chinese restaurants. Overall, this was an excellent dim sum experience, and I will definitely come back the next time I'm in Philadelphia.

(Note: if you only want smaller serving of their great, thick noodles, order $4 add-on as a side in place of rice with regular dish.) I always have leftovers to enjoy at home. Dumpling orders are large and shareable. (Always 6 or 8 pieces.) My fave when dining in is amazingly delicious and huge Fish Fillet in Hot and Sour Cabbage Broth. (That's best with rice side to help absorb broth.) So good and healthful to balance the dough density of whatever dumplings you might also order -- they're all great. When getting order to go (or delivered) I like Kung Pao Chicken; it travels well. Order added green veggie dish for sharing -- I lean toward Chinese Broccoli; you'll really want the balance with the delicious dumpling and noodle dishes. Large cocktail menu -- Lychee Martini is so refreshing. Important: cash only for dining in. There's an ATM by their front door. Takeout and delivery accepts credit cards. Most reasonably priced parking nearby (if you don't score a limited street spot) is ParkAmerica at 1040 Race St a few doors down.
