We ordered the rice bowls. Chicken and pork were great. They were also large. The metal bowls kept the food hot throughout our meal. The food here was very good. BEWARE They no longer have sushi. It still says sushi on the door. The menus still have sushi sections. This needs to be fixed The server didn't tell us this when we were seated. My daughter was very excited to have sushi when looking at the menu. When I ordered, the server told us there was no sushi. That made my girl sad. The server must tell people there is no sushi when they sit people, as opposed to when they order. Also, the server reprimanded us when we decided to change from bbq to the other side which was unnecessary.

The Korean chicken wings tastes a bit freezer burned and didn't travel well. The japche rice bowl was edible but nothing to write home about. Also got the jasmine bubble tea that didn't taste at all like tea just sweeten milk water for $6. Came here cause I thought it was perfect for me and my very picky kid who only eats burgers and fries. (Even the burger ended up goin to the dog when we got home) But turns out to be disappointing and quite expensive compared to several other local Korean restaurants.

I ordered my meal ahead of time through DoorDash, and it turned out to be an easy and quick pickup with the food being hot and fresh when I arrived. The wings are by far the best Korean fried chicken I've had, with every piece packed with juicy meat. This is exactly what you expect when ordering this dish, and the honey sesame sauce did not disappoint one bit. The wings were perfectly coated, and there was still a pool of sauce for dipping at the bottom of the container. Next time I will definitely turn up the heat and try one of their spicier sauce options to experience that flavor profile. The nicely fried mandoo pork dumplings were full of a delicious filling mixture that paired perfectly with the soy vinegar dipping sauce. The dumplings had a crispy exterior that gave way to a flavorful, well-seasoned interior. The only thing I'm disappointed with is that I didn't discover Dolsot House sooner.

Simple yet tasty homestyle Chinese Korean food…read more My group came for a late dinner and there seemed to be a hiccup in the kitchen - we actually heard a bit of yelling from the back at some point. It sounded like the kitchen intended to close an hour earlier, which would be fine but the restaurant should adjust their hours since several customers after us were confused and had to be turned away. We were even unsure about whether our own food was going to come. Ambiance would also feel a little more comfortable if they had some music playing - it was very quiet and almost felt awkward at times. Regardless, our food did come and hit the spot. The accompanying banchan was nice (and pretty spicy!) and portion sizes were generous. It felt like a nice, homey meal overall. The hiccup in the kitchen was probably a one-off, but hoping they can manage their hours better in the future.

Arrived to a quiet, low key establishment, a bit eerie as we were the only ones there and light were still off, but were welcomed, none the less. Once everything lit up, the food was slowly being brought out and the choices for lunch were limited. No hot items at the sides and the sauces available were interesting, interestingly enough to concoct something on my own. Drink fridge was well stocked, but the dessert freezer was lacking in selection, Haagen Dazs was only available. Play area was the only buff/flex for us, as our busy toddler needed to roam free. I should have opted for a closer seating to the play area so we could take turns watching and eating/cooking :) but it worked out, like I mentioned, it was low key and we were rushed. Regarding food, they were helpful and provided service for items that were not readily available on the hot sides area, salt and pepper shrimp... YES PLEASE! Other than that, similar to KBBQ style, but not the same sauces, so be wary of that, I didn't mind, but wanted to share that. Veggies are always a win where there's pumpkin/squash and eggplant ^_^
