Food is wonderful and priced competitively. Costumer service was also wonderful. They go above and beyond. I had a very large order and had to take two trips to get everything. As I entered to pick up the rest of the stuff one of the gentleman was already bringing it out to me. We ordered a few hibachi plates but didn't get any tum yum sauce. I called them to ask if they were supposed to come with sauces she said yes. I informed her we didn't receive any, she was super apologetic and even offered to deliver it. We've ordered from here a few times- we love that you can get a large tray of sushi. The food is good quality. However, we usually get our order an hour to 1.5 hours after it's predicted to be at our house. We thought it was bc of the large sushi platter, but skipped ordering that and it was even later last time. On the hunt for affordable, quality Chinese food especially my favorite, honey walnut shrimp. I ordered takeout of the Crispy Shrimp with Honey Walnut and a small Shrimp Lo Mein. The Crispy Shrimp with Walnut tasted okay, but the included rice tasted old and spoiled. The Shrimp Lo Mein tasted fine, something that I would eat again but to serve spoiled rice would make me not come again. At this time, they don't offer dine in. I got a large order or chicken and broccoli with veggie fried rice (I think the veggie rice was a dollar extra) and a small wonton soup. Chicken an broccoli was good, brown sauce was flavorful and good chicken to broccoli ratio. Wonton soup was good too, lots of wontons, filling was tasty and broth wasn't too salty. We opted to go here when our standard Chow's was closed. We opted for general Tso's with white Meat and hot and sour soup, scallion pancake, and general tso's shrimp. Overall the flavors were there but definitely not white meat more like popcorn chicken pieces. The soup was ok. The scallion pancake was heavy and saturated with grease. Nothing terrible, but completely flavorless. We had beef with broccoli, sweet and sour chicken, and beef lo mein - none of the dishes were anything but tasteless. Hubs didn't like the sweet and sour soup at all. I ate just the avocado salad and my miso soup - a waste of money on a dinner nobody liked. In 2020 fashion, Christmas Eve looked a little different this year and we decided to order in as a holiday treat to ourselves. The problem was that I realllllly wanted sushi, and my partner (a crazy person who does not like sushi) reallllly wanted Chinese food. Enter Dragon House! Though Dragon House opened a few years ago, we had yet to try their multitude of offerings; what better time than the holiday season? We opted to try some wasabi shumai for a starter. Just looking at them I wasn't confident in any wow-ing flavor, but these little guys packed a secret little wasabi slow burn! They were a yummy little snack. My partner ordered his favorite go-to Americanized Chinese food dish, General Tso's. He was rather happy with the amount of sauce on the well-cooked chicken pieces, and reports that the sauce was not just some sugar slurry that was whipped up in a minute. It was a nice blend of savory and sweet. In keeping with the theme of the evening, I decided to try the Christmas Roll (for something new) and the Philly Roll (for something classic to compare to). Both were tightly rolled, flavorful, and delicious. I am rather critical when trying a new sushi place, and the rolls at Dragon House passed the test. Nothing was fishy, smelly, or odd in color. I can't entirely speak to the freshness of the fish as I didn't order any sashimi, but with the experience I had with the rolls I would be willing to try it! I'm so impressed with this place! I've never had the best experience with Chinese food, but the food here was really good. Not greasy, didn't make me feel gross after and very generous portions. We had the chicken and garlic sauce dinner combo and the orange chicken. I'm not always an orange chicken fan but it was really good, not too sweet. They have no waitress, so it's up to the counter person to answer phones, wait tables and work the take out business. I've been here 5 or 6 times to eat in and rarely is it prompt service. Tonight the egg rolls I ordered sat on the takeout counter while our waitress was answering 3 phones at once. After 5 minutes I walked up and asked if the egg rolls were for my party, yes they were, so I took them back and they were luke warm. I really like the food, tasty and everything has been excellent, but as they get busier, they need more help. There were only 2 tables of us in the building but take out was brisk. My mom lives down the street and we were excited to see that something new was opening up close to her house. Since she moved to Collingswood, we've been searching for a new place to make our take-out staple. We stopped in for lunch this past weekend to try it out. We were impressed by the prices and the quality of the food. For the two of us, we ordered two lunch entrees from the Chinese portion of the menu and the two sushi roll lunch special to share. We also had complimentary hot tea and miso soup that came with the sushi. The whole bill (with lunch prices) was just a little over $20! The sushi was served to us first. We ordered a Spicy Tuna roll (a favorite) and the Spicy Harry roll (something new). We were happily surprised with how good the sushi was. The Spicy Tuna roll held up to our expectations and the Spicy Harry roll may be our new favorite. The crab meat with a hint of spice was a delicious combo. After we finished the sushi, the entrees came out. I had the General Tso Chicken. Although the rice was a bit cold on my plate, the chicken came out hot and perfectly crispy. My mom had no complaints about the Lo Mein either. We were left with plenty of leftovers to take home and enjoy later. The staff was very attentive and friendly throughout our meal. I just want to say how wonderful Dragon House always is whenever I order. I have eaten here many times, but this was my first time ordering during COVID-19. Not only was the food ready promptly and well-made, but the delivery service was impeccable. The driver was masked at all times and waited until I came outside to collect the food to make sure I received it.
