My family has been picking up take out from the other King Wong location on route 70 now for years, but this was my first experience at this location. I figured our experience would be positive since the restaurants are under the same ownership. Sonny is a great guy and every time I interact with him he is happy and up beat. No Sonny this time but our experience was still great. We ordered an egg roll, small pork fried rice, Mongolian beef, and an egg drop wonton soup (yes you read the last part correctly and it's great (upon request)). There isn't really any place to sit and eat in the restaurant so I'd consider them strictly take out (they also do not deliver). Inside the restaurant itself is small and very We were told 10 minutes for pick up by the time we ordered and it was ready in 10 minutes. The total came to slightly over $30 and was well worth it. Food was hot. It all tasted delicious. Portions were very generous. I had Mongolian beef leftovers for 2 consecutive days after eating that night and the pork fried rice was protruding out of the top of the container and the lid barely closed. The Mongolian beef was loaded with green onions (one of my favorites), the beef was tender, and it was spicy! The dish came with plenty of white rice which also lasted me through the next day. The pork fried rice was a beautiful golden-brown and flavorful. The wontons were tasty and perfectly cooked. I've actually never heard of combining egg drop and wonton soup but my girlfriend loves it and King Wong does it upon request. Our order came with 3 fortune cookies, a bag of fried noodles, and the sauces (duck, soy, hot mustard, hot sauce) were next to the counter to take yourself. There is plenty of parking as it's located in a strip mall with other businesses. Our experience was very good and my girlfriend orders from here often. We'll definitely be back again. read more

The chicken dishes here are so fresh, it reminded me of the chicken I had once on a trip to Ireland. The chicken was so fresh there, I got to meet them before they became dinner. This place was outstanding. Got the General Tso's Chicken and BBQ Spare Ribs platters, Fried Chicken Wings and Chicken Lo Mein. My wife and I made 2 meals out of it, and there's still more left over. The food is high quality and it only took 10-15 minutes from when I ordered it to when I picked it up. We used to patronize this restaurant all the time years ago. Then on every occasion, the meat in each entree was beyond skimpy and the containers were about 3/4 full on a good day and the prices seemed to increase all the time. This past weekend after at least a five year hiatus, we gave them another try. We ordered General Tso's Chicken and Chicken Chowmein. Both were very tasty. Containers were full and meat was a decent amount. We were very pleased they returned to their past normal. We also ordered egg rolls. Sadly they were tasteless and mushy. The Vegetarian-Style General Tso's Chicken is phenomenal. Faux-meat is hard to come by in South Jersey, so living 2 minutes from this place really helped. The staff speaks English well. Minus one star because they don't deliver. Though there are a couple tables by the window and some stools at the sushi bar, this place is mostly for take-out. Couldn't be more impressed with this kid. Makes the best sushi and today I watched him as he put together my 'sweetheart' and 'crazy' rolls. I thought he was finished but then he pushed the one roll aside and started over. When I asked what was wrong he just looked at me and said.. 'Wasn't perfect' and made another. Great food. The salt n' pepper chicken is something that i don't see at other chinese places, and i love it. I also don't think its too unhealthy, especially compared to general tso's chicken. Convenient fast food. Mediocre flavor and selection at best. Would be three stars if the cashier wasn't such a punk. I don't know what his problem is. Language barrier, or just an A hole. Or both. But he had a really hard time understanding what I wanted to order and started to loose his cool. Started screaming at me and it kind of reminded me of my two year old who can't really speak well yet so he just grunts two word phrases and screams a lot. when my buddy mentioned we'd be ordering take out from a strip mall chinese joint, i cringed a little. i mean, we only get to hang a few times a year... this is the best he could come up with? well, i'll never doubt him again. this is some legit eats. the salt and pepper baked wings are amazing and super addicting. really really yummy. the sushi is actually delicious as well- which is super surprising for a strip mall place. the eel is especially delicious, as is the salmon. seaweed salad is really good too, but a bit on the liquidy side for my liking. the flavor is great though. moo shu pork is great- not too saucy, not overly mushy, and enough pancakes were given. eat king wong. read more
