The party tray A includes: 2 california rolls, a spicy tuna roll, a spicy salmon roll, an avocado cucumber roll, a shrimp tempura roll, and a salmon cucumber roll. All were super delicious and fresh! Customers place their orders at the counter and there are a decent amount of tables for dining in. On the day we stopped in for lunch Sushi To Go was doing a brisk dine in and take out business. They also do delivery. Sushi To Go has a pretty big menu of both cooked and raw sushi, rolls, burrito style sushi and also hibachi boxes. The prices are reasonable. My wife and I both tried the Hibachi lunch with came with some nice vegetables, fried rice and orange slices. I had the Shrimp and my wife the Salmon. Both were good and the shrimp and Salmon were fresh tasting in a pleasant Teriyaki style sauce. We also had the Miso soup for $1.75 and that was pretty big, easily enough for 2 people. There is a small refrigerator with a good selection of drinks. We went with the Green Tea. The utensils and plates are no frills; chop sticks, plastic forks, and even the dine in orders are served in take out containers. The staff was extremely friendly and very nice. It is located in a plaza next to a frozen yogurt and karate place and has only been open for about a month now. One thing to note is that some of the items on the paper menu/website are not on the wall menu, so check the paper menu before ordering! Soups were decent. Tuna Nachos were interesting -- wish there could have been more tuna though. Angel Roll and Volcano Roll were my favorites. We have always liked the sushi and other items at this location but agree with others that their customer service is terrible and is not improving. Don't order on a weekend night and expect for your order to be ready on time. The girl at the counter is rude, has no patience when you are ordering and never apologized for making you wait. Based on my observations the bulk of their business is online orders, delivery and app orders such as grub hub because that seems to be their priority over customers that walk in or call in an order. There are plenty of other options for ordering sushi in our area, so I doubt we'll be back even though it is super convenient for us. There's another sushi to go franchise in Cherry Hill on Haddonfield Rd that is excellent - so this review doesn't include that location. read more

This restaurant has the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I tried to order my family dinner tonight. The Grubhub app didn't show the items that the owner (Troy) swears are on the menu. He couldn't assist and redirected me back to Grubhub or Door Dash. After 20+mins of back and forth with the owner while my wife and children anxiously awaited their meals, Troy ultimately told me "sorry but nothing I can do...I cannot offer you the $12 discount that's advertised through grubhub or door dash and I am not able to do anything for you at all...please just call Grubhub or Door Dash..." So I tried both Grubhub and Door Dash and neither worked for Sushi to Go (ironically both apps worked totally fine for all other restaurants I tried). So I called Grubhub, and wasted another 40+mins, got hung up on 3times, was put on hold numerous times, and ultimately was told by Grubhub, "...we're sorry but it's a issue with the specific restaurant...there is nothing at all we can do for you...you must call the restaurant and they will help you. I called back Troy (owner) at restaurant again and he said "sorry nothing I can do for you...please just order from someone else..." This is absurd. If Troy and Sushi To Go truly are that great and have zero desire to accommodate me or my family for our business at all, best of luck to them. I strongly recommend no one go through the same terrible experience I just had. There are plenty of other wonderful local sushi restaurants more than happy to have our business and provide proper customer service/appreciation for our business over their competitors.
