In route to 295 we stopped. Uhhhh.... prob a bigger take out gig than dine in, but still make your restaurant appealing! Omg - see my pic! I had the General Tso lunch special. Every Chinese place seems to have a spin on it. This one - prettier than it tasted, which was frozen tasting! Look at the sauce color ... ugh. Im not used to eating sub par food like this. I subbed the fried rice for white. Even that was not so good. Not sticky enough or something. Sadly, the star of the show was my sweet tea. Hard pass on this one! read more

Very interesting spot in a low end plaza. You walk in with some tables and chairs but no dine in option. It's all to go based which is a shame because the item that was tried is a cool option to sit and eat with others. Had the Godzilla Roll and Crazy Spicy Sushi Burrito. When I saw a picture pop up on the Yelp feed of a sushi burrito knew that it had to be tried! Godzilla roll was a good crunchy safe route although there was no wasabi. The burrito is still trying to compute in the brain and taste buds. You want to love it because how different it is, but realize the challenge of having to meticulously eat it without making a mess. Working with the paper wrap while eating. Overall, it's a decent spot that will probably go again, but with no dine in options and a tad on the high side for the burrito ($13.55) it will be more of a treat style place. read more

Love that they serve Chinese and sushi, my wife and I like different things. Lady at front desk is very sweet

I've gotten Chopstix House a few times now and tried dishes like the Spicy Crab Waffle Fries, Crab & Cheese Wontons, General Tso's Chicken, Sesame Chicken, Vegetable Lo Mein, Tempura Fried Cheesecake, Plain Wings, Salt and Pepper Wings and Homemade Ice Tea. Overall, I enjoyed the dishes but tend to reorder the Crab & Cheese Wontons, Sesame Chicken, Spicy Crab Waffle Fries, and Salt & Pepper Wings. For the Sesame Chicken, I wish there was a bit more broccoli. The Homemade Ice Tea is good but very, very sweet and I usually like to water it down. No frills, just a regular chinese takeout place, definitely not a sit-in. Service is friendly, prices are relatively affordable, and the wait time is short (10-15 mins for pickup). They have a $10 minimum on a credit card. They have a shared parking lot within their plaza. 4.5/5. read more

Go to spot for take out and mostly delivery. I say that having never eaten at the establishment. Have always been happy with any order.

We always used them for takeout. Today I ordered salt and pepper shrimp for $13. When I opened the container it was unpeeled shrimp over lettuce with green peppers and onions. Now I guess I had this dish before at a different restaurant. I loved it before. So I try to peel the shrimp and it's a slimy gross mess. The one I managed to get peel off of was then dry and tasted bad. I called them back and let them know. All I got was the person arguing that this is how the dish was served. When I reiterated that it was bad, they repeated that this was the way it was served . I said but what am I going to eat for dinner? Same phrase. He didn't budge and didn't want to make this right. All I want is a shrimp dish for dinner! He refused to help me and didn't care that I was a long time customer that was unhappy and would never be back. Very bad customer service!! read more

So I wanted to try this place. I wanted to see it in person before ordering. Needless to say I wouldn't eat in there. There are only two tables and in the corner they have a lot of supplies out and cases of soda and stuff like that. Not the greatest ambiance but anywhoooo its more about the food. My daughter loves sushi and she loves burritos. So why not try one of the sushi burritos lol. She said it was really good. She said she would definitely order it again and said the dipping sauce was really good. I ordered shrimp with lobster sauce and it was really good. We also ordered some other combination platters including general Tso chicken as well as sesame chicken. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Because I did a check in I also received a free shrimp roll which was good and they also notified me that upon spending a certain amount we were able to get another order of generals chicken for free ! I also was looking through the pics on yelp and decided to also order the chop stix sushi roll to try out. It was a really nice size order, but I'm too full to try it now. It's ok lunch for tomorrow is always a plus ! I would Definitely recommend this place. The staff was very friendly and we didn't wait long for the food and the food was very tasty ! They get four stars from me. Ugh so came in today on 7/24/18 ordered through yelp kinda bummed because I forgot when you order and spend a certain amount you get free stuff and because I didn't say it, they also didn't give it. Which I kinda feel is a bummer because If your offering it even if it's a two liter of soda you should remind the customer or if it's food, pack it. I also ordered a sushi burrito for my daughter and it was kind of messy this time and not rolled well. Also I ordered the beef Kung pao and the beef was cut big compared to the small cut veggies it was hard to eat. So for today I'm bringing it down to a 3 Star. I will still come here but I was disappointed today. I'll see how it goes. read more

Deseptive, 3 pcs of chicken meat in Gen T's the rest is Maggie flavored flour and fat . First time ever going there, looked a bit "up scale" compared to other local joints but cheating customers who eat cereal for diner and thing this is any good. read more

I was torn between a 3 and a 4, but because of the great service and food I chose 4 stars. The sushi is very good. Their spicy mayo used for dipping is delicious. I will say at first glance what I thought was an avocado roll actually had the skimpiest piece of crab in it. I didn't care for the chopsticks (very splinter-y) and they didn't include any napkins. The miso soup was also very good. read more

I love chopstix house! The food is always hot and delicious. My personal favorites are the spider sushi burrito, while my husband loves the gyoza. This time I got the black angel roll ( it was almost like the shaggy dog rolls they have in houston! ) and the Godzilla roll. Both were out of this world. Can't wait to order again! We are very pleased with both pick up and delivery. read more

They're ok. Mostly a takeaway joint. A few tables if you're desperate. Chicken with garlic sauce is ok. Could use more garlic and heat. General Tso is below average. Sauce is ok, but the coating is mushy. I'd avoid these (I'm assuming other similar dishes like sesame chicken use the same coating) Rice is ok. Lunch special is 1.5 pounds along with an egg roll. Won't go out of my way to stop here read more

Chopstix House is a relatively new Chinese place in a small strip mall across US-30 from the Home Depot shopping center. If it helps, you can also access the parking area for Chopstix House from Mouldy Road, using the entrance behind Dunkin Donuts. The restaurant is bright and clean, and air-conditioned, a rarity among low-cost Chinese restaurants. They seem geared mostly for takeout but they do have a few tables for dine-in customers. The food is good enough but not the best I've had in South Jersey. The fried rice is a bit of a letdown even if the rest of the dish is rather good. I do appreciate though that they are venturing beyond basic Chinese fare by adding some Japanese and Thai selections to the menu. Service is rather good overall, with one glaring exception. They don't offer a cup of water, even if you did buy food. I understand that they want you to buy one of their bottled drinks but it seems a bit greedy when 90% of the Chinese places in South Jersey do provide tap water. read more

The best around here in Lawnside. All because they offer homemade iced tea. Bring back the pink and blue lemonade lol.

I love the Chinese food. Boneless spare ribs are 5 stars.. Any Chinese I order from them is great... Ordering a "hibachi steak", it's not worth it. Just some steamed veggies, white rice, and steak cooked well done. Not worth the money. No sauces. Some gross soup. But love the Chinese food. read more

This used to be my favorite takeout place but their driver just screamed at me because he was scared of my 14 pound dog. The restaurant is denying that this person screamed at me because he has a "phobia." Well I have a panic disorder and apparently I can't avoid having that triggered at my OWN HOUSE because despite delivering to my house five times he has not figured out I have a tiny dog? It's a delivery job. Now he is misrepresenting my character to his employers. This is not the first time he has talked to me like this. They also denied Grubhub's reasonable request to refund my tip ONLY. I am an understanding person and did not want to get out of paying for my food because of one bad employee. However Grubhub is doing so. Will not be ordering from this place again. Update: I called the manager and he said that this didn't happen and threatened to use a recording of the conversation against me. I feel violated by this restaurant. read more

Was craving Chinese food, butbwas dreading picking a place. It isn't that there aren't any in this area, quite the contrary. There are SO MANY, and most are sub par... or worse. Even our favorite few places have been terrible lately. We picked a place, but they were not on Grubhub, while Chopstick House was and we had never tried it before. We ordered and hungrily awaited our food. Now it DID take the maximum allotted time for it to arrive, which was worrisome. But we were pleasantly surprised that the food was perfectly fresh and HOT upon arrival. I got the general's tofu and wonton soup. Fiance got the sweet and sour chicken. He loved his, and mine was great. The wonton soup had 4 big noodles in it, perfectly flavorful. Portions were also quite large. After stuffing our faces we were really happy at our choice, finally after ordering out the last few times we had food that was really good. Absolutely ordering again. read more

First time ordering from these guys, and I am so happy. This area has a lot of options for Chinese and Chopstix House did not disappoint. They were on time and everything was delicious. We ordered the white tuna avocado roll and eel cucumber roll. They are huge! We also got the veggie lomaine, the "crab and cheese wontons" crab Rangoon's, and a miso soup. All amazing. They also gave us two free sodas! Will definitely be back. read more

Delicious food and fast delivery! Great options for Chinese and Japanese food. They also offer great coupons.

Order for a second time to give them another chance. Curry still all onions and we ordered dumpling and there were long metal shavings in the food. Never ordering here again read more

We love this place! If you're from the area, you know these takeout places are a dime a dozen, but this one is really great. The food is delicious, great portion sizes for leftover lovers like myself, and they give you either a free 2 liter soda or two cans of soda free with your order! It may not seem like much, but it's a little something that's appreciated. Highly recommend! read more

We have ordered from here twice so far and will DEFINITELY order again! The food has been fresh and flavorful each time, with great portion sizes for the price you pay. So far we have had the Chicken Pad Thai, Crazy Spicy Sushi Burrito, Sashimi Sushi Burrito, Szechuan Dumplings, and the regular egg rolls. The pad thai was overflowing and full of chicken and vegetables. Both sushi burritos were packed with fresh fish and sticky rice, with crunchy jalapenos and tempura flakes. These were awesome, definitely a favorite! And the service has been nothing but impeccable. The first time we ordered through GrubHub, our order came 10 minutes before the estimated delivery time, and our driver was very friendly. The second time, we ordered on a busy night and had to wait about an hour and change. Even though the wait time went up significantly from the first order, we were called directly from the restaurant about 20 min after ordering, letting us know that the wait would be a little longer than normal due to high order volume and traffic. He was very apologetic over the phone and offered us a free 2L soda as compensation. When the food arrived, the driver again was extremely apologetic and said not only did they add on the 2L soda for free, but also two egg rolls to make up for the wait. They most certainly did not have to make these concessions for us, as the wait wasn't abnormally long, but the fact that this restaurant was so generous makes this an instant new favorite take out spot. read more

This is our go-to place for Asian delivery. Me and my boyfriend order almost weekly! We've tried a ton of things on the menu and haven't been disappointed yet. We often order a large white rice with whatever else seems appealing for that evening, and save some of the white rice to make fried rice the following day. Always so fresh and good. We love the crab rangoons, crab sticks, lo mein, and sushi! Delivery is always super quick and the delivery guys are friendly. Really love this place and will continue to order from them! read more

Honestly this place is so good. My boyfriend and I have been trying food in the surrounding area and we like this one the best so far. Pad Thai is amazing and they accommodate you if you have an diet restrictions and the sushi is so so good. Peanut avocado and cucumber avocado are amazing and the size of them could fill you up just by themselves! Also get the veggie fried rice they take the time to put real veggies instead of the standard peas and carrots like everyone else does! read more

I tried this place and got the beef and broccoli and beef fried rice. The broccoli was raw. I'm not talking blanched...im talking raw. Like I went to the farm and just started chomping on it. The rice had so much soy sauce you couldn't taste anything else. Never going back. read more

There was hair in my food. When I called restaurant they said I need to send the food back with the hair in it.

They gave us two egg rolls with our order and came out in the snow storm. Great Chinese Food!

Good food, try the Mongolian beef. Great! boneless ribs were a little sweeter then expected but I loved them. Sushi was great too.
