It's all to go based which is a shame because the item that was tried is a cool option to sit and eat with others. Had the Godzilla Roll and Crazy Spicy Sushi Burrito. When I saw a picture pop up on the Yelp feed of a sushi burrito knew that it had to be tried! Godzilla roll was a good crunchy safe route although there was no wasabi. The burrito is still trying to compute in the brain and taste buds. You want to love it because how different it is, but realize the challenge of having to meticulously eat it without making a mess. I've gotten Chopstix House a few times now and tried dishes like the Spicy Crab Waffle Fries, Crab & Cheese Wontons, General Tso's Chicken, Sesame Chicken, Vegetable Lo Mein, Tempura Fried Cheesecake, Plain Wings, Salt and Pepper Wings and Homemade Ice Tea. Overall, I enjoyed the dishes but tend to reorder the Crab & Cheese Wontons, Sesame Chicken, Spicy Crab Waffle Fries, and Salt & Pepper Wings. For the Sesame Chicken, I wish there was a bit more broccoli. The Homemade Ice Tea is good but very, very sweet and I usually like to water it down. No frills, just a regular chinese takeout place, definitely not a sit-in. Service is friendly, prices are relatively affordable, and the wait time is short (10-15 mins for pickup). We always used them for takeout. Today I ordered salt and pepper shrimp for $13. When I opened the container it was unpeeled shrimp over lettuce with green peppers and onions. Now I guess I had this dish before at a different restaurant. I loved it before. So I try to peel the shrimp and it's a slimy gross mess. The one I managed to get peel off of was then dry and tasted bad. I called them back and let them know. All I got was the person arguing that this is how the dish was served. When I reiterated that it was bad, they repeated that this was the way it was served . I said but what am I going to eat for dinner? Same phrase. He didn't budge and didn't want to make this right. So I wanted to try this place. I wanted to see it in person before ordering. Needless to say I wouldn't eat in there. There are only two tables and in the corner they have a lot of supplies out and cases of soda and stuff like that. Not the greatest ambiance but anywhoooo its more about the food. My daughter loves sushi and she loves burritos. So why not try one of the sushi burritos lol. She said it was really good. She said she would definitely order it again and said the dipping sauce was really good. I ordered shrimp with lobster sauce and it was really good. We also ordered some other combination platters including general Tso chicken as well as sesame chicken. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Because I did a check in I also received a free shrimp roll which was good and they also notified me that upon spending a certain amount we were able to get another order of generals chicken for free ! I also was looking through the pics on yelp and decided to also order the chop stix sushi roll to try out. It was a really nice size order, but I'm too full to try it now. It's ok lunch for tomorrow is always a plus ! I would Definitely recommend this place. The staff was very friendly and we didn't wait long for the food and the food was very tasty ! They get four stars from me. I was torn between a 3 and a 4, but because of the great service and food I chose 4 stars. The sushi is very good. Their spicy mayo used for dipping is delicious. I will say at first glance what I thought was an avocado roll actually had the skimpiest piece of crab in it. I didn't care for the chopsticks (very splinter-y) and they didn't include any napkins. Chopstix House is a relatively new Chinese place in a small strip mall across US-30 from the Home Depot shopping center. If it helps, you can also access the parking area for Chopstix House from Mouldy Road, using the entrance behind Dunkin Donuts. The restaurant is bright and clean, and air-conditioned, a rarity among low-cost Chinese restaurants. They seem geared mostly for takeout but they do have a few tables for dine-in customers. The food is good enough but not the best I've had in South Jersey. The fried rice is a bit of a letdown even if the rest of the dish is rather good. I do appreciate though that they are venturing beyond basic Chinese fare by adding some Japanese and Thai selections to the menu. Service is rather good overall, with one glaring exception. They don't offer a cup of water, even if you did buy food. I understand that they want you to buy one of their bottled drinks but it seems a bit greedy when 90% of the Chinese places in South Jersey do provide tap water. read more

The restaurant is denying that this person screamed at me because he has a "phobia." The pad thai was overflowing and full of chicken and vegetables. Both sushi burritos were packed with fresh fish and sticky rice, with crunchy jalapenos and tempura flakes. The first time we ordered through GrubHub, our order came 10 minutes before the estimated delivery time, and our driver was very friendly. The second time, we ordered on a busy night and had to wait about an hour and change. Even though the wait time went up significantly from the first order, we were called directly from the restaurant about 20 min after ordering, letting us know that the wait would be a little longer than normal due to high order volume and traffic. He was very apologetic over the phone and offered us a free 2L soda as compensation. When the food arrived, the driver again was extremely apologetic and said not only did they add on the 2L soda for free, but also two egg rolls to make up for the wait.
