    Tempura Fried Cheesecake(1pc)

I've gotten Chopstix House a few times now and tried dishes like the Spicy Crab Waffle Fries, Crab & Cheese Wontons, General Tso's Chicken, Sesame Chicken, Vegetable Lo Mein, Tempura Fried Cheesecake, Plain Wings, Salt and Pepper Wings and Homemade Ice Tea. Overall, I enjoyed the dishes but tend to reorder the Crab & Cheese Wontons, Sesame Chicken, Spicy Crab Waffle Fries, and Salt & Pepper Wings. For the Sesame Chicken, I wish there was a bit more broccoli. The Homemade Ice Tea is good but very, very sweet and I usually like to water it down. No frills, just a regular chinese takeout place, definitely not a sit-in. Service is friendly, prices are relatively affordable, and the wait time is short (10-15 mins for pickup). They have a $10 minimum on a credit card. They have a shared parking lot within their plaza. 4.5/5.

We always used them for takeout. Today I ordered salt and pepper shrimp for $13. When I opened the container it was unpeeled shrimp over lettuce with green peppers and onions. Now I guess I had this dish before at a different restaurant. I loved it before. So I try to peel the shrimp and it's a slimy gross mess. The one I managed to get peel off of was then dry and tasted bad. I called them back and let them know. All I got was the person arguing that this is how the dish was served. When I reiterated that it was bad, they repeated that this was the way it was served . I said but what am I going to eat for dinner? Same phrase. He didn't budge and didn't want to make this right. All I want is a shrimp dish for dinner! He refused to help me and didn't care that I was a long time customer that was unhappy and would never be back. Very bad customer service!!

So I wanted to try this place. I wanted to see it in person before ordering. Needless to say I wouldn't eat in there. There are only two tables and in the corner they have a lot of supplies out and cases of soda and stuff like that. Not the greatest ambiance but anywhoooo its more about the food. My daughter loves sushi and she loves burritos. So why not try one of the sushi burritos lol. She said it was really good. She said she would definitely order it again and said the dipping sauce was really good. I ordered shrimp with lobster sauce and it was really good. We also ordered some other combination platters including general Tso chicken as well as sesame chicken. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Because I did a check in I also received a free shrimp roll which was good and they also notified me that upon spending a certain amount we were able to get another order of generals chicken for free ! I also was looking through the pics on yelp and decided to also order the chop stix sushi roll to try out. It was a really nice size order, but I'm too full to try it now. It's ok lunch for tomorrow is always a plus ! I would Definitely recommend this place. The staff was very friendly and we didn't wait long for the food and the food was very tasty ! They get four stars from me. Ugh so came in today on 7/24/18 ordered through yelp kinda bummed because I forgot when you order and spend a certain amount you get free stuff and because I didn't say it, they also didn't give it. Which I kinda feel is a bummer because If your offering it even if it's a two liter of soda you should remind the customer or if it's food, pack it. I also ordered a sushi burrito for my daughter and it was kind of messy this time and not rolled well. Also I ordered the beef Kung pao and the beef was cut big compared to the small cut veggies it was hard to eat. So for today I'm bringing it down to a 3 Star. I will still come here but I was disappointed today. I'll see how it goes.

I was torn between a 3 and a 4, but because of the great service and food I chose 4 stars. The sushi is very good. Their spicy mayo used for dipping is delicious. I will say at first glance what I thought was an avocado roll actually had the skimpiest piece of crab in it. I didn't care for the chopsticks (very splinter-y) and they didn't include any napkins. The miso soup was also very good.

I love chopstix house! The food is always hot and delicious. My personal favorites are the spider sushi burrito, while my husband loves the gyoza. This time I got the black angel roll ( it was almost like the shaggy dog rolls they have in houston! ) and the Godzilla roll. Both were out of this world. Can't wait to order again! We are very pleased with both pick up and delivery.

Chicken with garlic sauce. Too many onions
    Gene D.

They're ok. Mostly a takeaway joint. A few tables if you're desperate. Chicken with garlic sauce is ok. Could use more garlic and heat. General Tso is below average. Sauce is ok, but the coating is mushy. I'd avoid these (I'm assuming other similar dishes like sesame chicken use the same coating) Rice is ok. Lunch special is 1.5 pounds along with an egg roll. Won't go out of my way to stop here

Enoki and egg soup is my favorite appetizer. Light broth with umami and perfect saltiness. My second favorite appetizer is agedashi tofu. So silky like pudding with light teriyaki broth. Beef roll up with scallions: beef is tender with some kind of sweet teriyaki sauce. It's pretty good. Eggplant filled with ground chicken. It looks appealing but unfortunately a bit too greasy. The sushi here is very special. The sushi rice is silky and moist. The fish piece is bigger than the rice. The eel is a must try here. It's very big compared to the rice underneath it. It very flavorful too. Mt entree is steamed salmon with seafood broth. PRO: I will say, if you want a place where you can sit and have a conversation, dark mood lighting (especially forgiving if the last time you saw each other alot was 20 years ago! - LOL), Sagami is an excellent choice. PRO: They don't rush you out - take your time. It was a Thursday night, so not especially busy when we came at 6:30 PM. CON: I could not find an updated menu online - I'm one of those people who like to peruse a menu in advance. I started with a vegetable tempura appetizer ($10) - excellent, light, airy, tasty. My main was the dragon roll - very tasty. Service was quite nice. Appetizers came out almost immediately, the rolls took a lot longer to get to our table. This is the kind of place where you're not paying to fill up your belly - but if you do, expect to shell out some bucks.

I ordered my meal ahead of time through DoorDash, and it turned out to be an easy and quick pickup with the food being hot and fresh when I arrived. This is exactly what you expect when ordering this dish, and the honey sesame sauce did not disappoint one bit. The wings were perfectly coated, and there was still a pool of sauce for dipping at the bottom of the container. Next time I will definitely turn up the heat and try one of their spicier sauce options to experience that flavor profile. The nicely fried mandoo pork dumplings were full of a delicious filling mixture that paired perfectly with the soy vinegar dipping sauce. The dumplings had a crispy exterior that gave way to a flavorful, well-seasoned interior. The only thing I'm disappointed with is that I didn't discover Dolsot House sooner.

The building replaces what I believe used to be a Subway. Upon entering I was a bit stunned. The interior had an inviting small sit in area for dining in. The TV menus were vibrant with all the food options. Home made or locally sourced Vietnamese delicacies surrounded the register from drinks, snacks, and more. Very welcoming environment and decor. Being a new place and on the go, my wife and I shared the #2 which was the Bahn Mi Dac Biet and Vietnamese Iced Coffee for a total of $16.95 (this included my $1 tip). Bahn Mi Dac Biet ($8.95): The meats included were Grilled Pork, Pork Bologna, and Pork Roll. Once I opened the sandwich, I knew this was going to hit the spot. Visually it had all the semblance of an authentic Bahn Mi, the fresh slightly toasted French style baguette, liver pate, Vietnamese mayo, pickled radish and carrots, cilantro, and jalapeños. The slightly toasted sandwich was delicious. The tender flavorful pork in combination with the crunchy exterior bread and soft inside marriages well. Because of the richness of the pork and mayo, the pickled radish and carrot cuts through the fat and brightens the sandwich up. The jalapeños and cilantro brings in freshness. All in all it was wonderful. There were 14 different Bahn Mi options. To choose, I asked the cashier and the young lady recommended the #2 (what we got) and #5 (pork belly). She was super helpful and polite. After we ordered, a family unfamiliar with Vietnamese food came in and asked a bunch of questions. It was actually overwhelmingly the amount of questions (and demanding tone) but the cashier was patient, clear, and concise when answering. Vietnamese coffee is known for being on the stronger side and yes this was. Strong in the best way possible without being bitter. I believe the coffee is sweetened with condensed and/or evaporated milk. Regardless of milk, this coffee was worth the price because of its unique flavor. I will be ordering this coffee every time my wife and I stop by. Oh and they serve Pho as well! I'm excited to come back and share with yall. Peace
