    Sushi counter

I went here today with an out of town co-worker. I've never been here before and usually don't frequent the Collingswood area, to be honest. But he wanted Sushi and this was one of the closest places that I located on Yelp. The ladies at the front aren't that friendly when you come in, but the server was fine and attentive. I had Miso soup, which was good, and also Spicy Crab Roll and the Spider Roll. Everything was fresh and delicious. I'd come here for lunch or early dinner only. Even though Collingswood is almost literally a stone's throw from Camden across Route 130, it's not really a diverse town, so the vibe is odd. Still the food here is good and worth a try, if you happen to be passing through on Haddon Ave.

Their sushi was fresh and tasty. I got the hibachi noodles and shrimp as side orders, they were perfect, forgot to take a picture tho. We didn't sit at a table with a chef bc we went for sushi, but it smelled so good I had to try. It was a great experience with reasonably priced food and good service.

I've been here twice since my first review. Unfortunately, my second time wasn't good; the fish was not fresh (it tasted like the ice they had it sitting on) and I did have stomach problems the next day. But the most recent time was a good experience! The fish was fresh again and so, particularly because this is a small local business, I'm happy to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Highly recommend this place!! Very knowledgeable about gluten sensitivity's & very accommodating with allergies in general. Fast service as well. Only complaint is the lack of parking, which can be a pain especially at rush hour.

We were here for hibachi, which my boyfriend really enjoyed I actually had sushi which was very fresh and tasty, also asked for a spicy Kani salad which barely had any crabmeat (had better).. service was also good and fast, ambience is fun they turn lights off and play music and sing happy birthday off course if your celebrating a birthday,, it's also BYOB which I love and you can also bring in a cake...

This place was amazing! I went here on a Saturday evening with my fiancé. We both really enjoyed our meals! The service and ambiance were also both great too. It's also in a great location in downtown Collingswood. I certainly recommend going here! Its also a BYOB, which is great! I look forward to making another visit here soon.

This was my first time eating at Osaka. It is in a very cute area with lots of shops to check out. I dined in for lunch and was happy with the spacing and Covid safety procedures. I got a sushi lunch special with two rolls which came with a soup or salad and a specialty roll. The dynamite roll was really really good! My friend got the shrimp tempura lunchbox which had lots of tasty things! Everything was reasonably priced and well presented!

The restaurant was very busy on this Saturday night and I was glad to see them doing so well. Service was excellent all night long even with how busy they were. Our server stopped by several times to see how we were doing and so did the hostess/owner's wife. I would describe Wanda as elevated American and French influenced. We ordered the short rib, the chicken, and a fish special. All three dishes were excellent. However, the stand out was the chicken and the incredible sauce. They also served really delicious housemade bread. For dessert we had the bread pudding and the chocolate torte. The restaurant is very simple inside but still charming. There is downstairs seat or in the main room, balcony seating, and also a small private room for functions. Prices were in the $25-$40 range for entrées. The menu is diverse, but not overwhelming. They also serve brunch on Saturday and Sunday. We really enjoyed our meal there and would definitely go back. 4.5 Yelp stars.

The bartender made really great drinks so we were very pleased while waiting for our table. Once seated we were provided with water almost immediately and our server arrived shortly after. We put in our drink and appetizer order and then the amazing bread with peppers arrived (complimentary) and we were like two kids in a candy shop. I don't know what they do to those peppers but they're delicious ... and pair perfectly with what I call their pizza bread. Appetizer and drinks were superb and after putting in our entree orders they were placed in front of us in under 20 minutes - fresh, hot and delicious! The food was very good. The chicken francaise was awesome, perfectly fried and seasoned, as were the meatballs. Very impressive hummus trio though! The hummus flavors were all very well thought out and felt like they were actually made to match the Italian style, rather than slapped on the menu. The food is classic steakhouse done right--excellent cuts, cooked perfectly, with that old-school steakhouse flavor you just don't find everywhere anymore. Everything came out hot, fresh, and exactly as ordered. Service was outstanding as well: attentive, friendly, and professional without being overbearing. You can tell the staff takes pride in what they're doing, which really elevates the whole experience. If you were a fan of the original Chubby's, you'll feel right at home. I learned later that this restaurant has been around since the early to mid 1900's. Plenty of parking in a large open lot. The place is very large and has one of the longest bars I've seen. The wood is very dark and you can see the chefs cooking over the hearth. They don't take reservations and won't see you until your entire party is there. One of the things I liked for our party of 10 was they had no problems with seating as they also have many large round tables. For mixed drinks, they make them pretty big and potent. For my martini, they sent back an extra glass. They also had great bleu cheese stuffed olives. We ordered onion rings (8 large to an order) and fried zucchini. The onion ring I had was pretty good. I didn't have the fried zucchini but heard it was also pretty good. Other than the light fare items, all dinners come with their salad bar which has both iceberg lettuce and Caesar Salad along with many fixings as well as cheeses and bread. I had the Baked Seafood Platter which came with scallops, shrimp, Clam Casino (without the shell), Maryland crab cake and a small lobster tail for $49.99. My wife had the baked chicken breast which she said was quite dry. The dining area is quite large and reminds me of the restaurants at a casino. Some in our group said it reminds them of Medieval Times due to the dark wood vibe. While I thought it was a bit pricey, I would still come back and try their signature steaks or prime rib.
