Came for AYCE sushi today with a group of ~10. We were able to get a table pretty quickly, even for a large group. This was my third time here. Admittedly this place is a bit slower than other places from plate to plate, but for dinner time, we were able to get our orders pretty quickly, especially for having such large plates for a large group. Sashimi is fresh here, and there's a pretty of sashimi, sushi, hand roll and roll options to select from. All of it is solid quality, and makes for a great time at AYCE. Service here is pretty helpful, in terms of clearing plates and refilling waters. I'd say the only thing maybe is to improve the lighting here-- it's kind of dim and sleepy here especially at a dinner time, but just bright enough to be OK! read more

This was the worst sushi ever. The Crazy Salmon roll was just boring, the White Castle roll was boring topped with a foul whitish green sauce, the Sushi King roll was so gross we were afraid it would make us sick. The only decent roll was the Butterfly, which only came with 5 pieces, while all of the others had 8. The sashimi (we got salmon and white tuna) was pretty flavorless, and not the best texture. The tempura vegetables were fine, and the calamari was great, but we will never go back to this place. What made it even worse was that their website said that the price was $25.95 per person on Mon-Thurs, but the menu said it was $27.95 per person, and when I let them know, they acted like they didn't know what I was talking about and they tried to show me a flyer with the higher pricing on it. Not what I expected. Restaurant was in a plaza/strip mall and inside was just blah. Most sushi places give you that Japan feel like you are being taking there with the music and decor and this restaurant didn't have that appeal. As to the seats, they have wooden booths that are a bit uncomfortable and it set up like a big lunch room with tables in the middle of the floor. The sushi all you can eat menu- was lacking Crab Rangoon? How? Why? Every other place I've been too has it- what a bummer. I am known for being the crab Rangoon queen and eating way too many in one sitting. Disappointed. Those a few sushi rolls and although it came out quickly- it just wasn't it. The rolls were falling apart and lacked flavor. Even the appetizers were overly drenched in oil and just didn't do it for me. They have a really big variety of items! Even if you don't like seafood, their kitchen menu is quite extensive. Orders came out very quick and plated nicely. Get the soft shell crab roll! The staff were attentive and friendly. On a weeknight dinner, there were 5-6 tables, so the place was not busy. The kitchen items (miso soup, seaweed salad, house salad, tempura, gyoza, chicken teriyaki) were respectable 4/5 for the price and quick to come out. The sushi was disappointing, the rice was soggy and overly vinegar laden. The fish slices were exceptionally thin and the rice was exceptionally abundant- the ratio was way off. Food was an 11/10. It's a busy place, there's a lot of people who love the food and want a great deal as well. So the service isn't the best, understandably. But 3 different waiters came to ask what we wanted to drink and after the 3rd waiter we got our water, plates and menus. Let's be honest finding an all you can eat sushi spot can be super difficult and I'm definitely glad my husband and I decided to check out this restaurant. Since moving to the area we were unsure of where to go for good quality sushi however after reading several reviews we decided to give this place a try. From the outside this restaurant doesn't look like much but like I always say don't judge a book by its cover. Food comes out very quick and sushi very fresh! Their spicy mayo is probably the best I've ever had, it's got a unique flavor and it's actually spicy. Here are the highlights for me after 3 visits: Pros -Good selection -Made to order -Corkscrews and wine glasses available -6 booths available including 2 that are for bigger parties Cons. -No background music so you can hear everything and everyone, this was tough. When you have a loud talker there, you can hear it across the dining room. -service is mediocre during peak hours, like a Friday night but horrible on off days, like a Thursday night. If the owner is there, he will be very attentive and work harder than the rest of the staff. If he is not, then it's frustrating if you need anything. Overall, the price is amazing at about $25 and $28 on a weekend night. Just lower your expectations. Pro tip: arrive on Friday nights around 4-6. You can either get all you can eat or order by play. They keep a close eye ok you if your party does either or. Its really flexible which is nice. There is a plethora of different sushi rolls and foods to choose from. The sushi was very good and I really liked the Gyoza. The quality is good as well as the size of each roll. I got a chicken fried rice and it was huge! So delicious and there was some for leftover. Miso soup was really tasty. I had to get 2 and one of my favorite things to eat at sushi places is the sushi rice by itself. The rice these places use is mixed with different things, specifically rice vinegar to give it its signature taste. Theres was solid, though they were confused about what I was asking.
