    Delicious!!

I'm hooked on Classic Asia! I was at work and had a craving. Seeing that I can order online makes it even 10x better. I like to try the classic chicken & broccoli dish when I'm ordering from a, new to me, Chinese restaurant. The chicken & broccoli were fantastic. Lots of meat, sauce and broccoli. I went with the pork fried rice, also delicious. My soup choice, egg drop, again, tasty as all heck. It had great flavor and was piping hot when it arrived. The salad was a $2 add on and was very happy with the amount of salad dressing they gave me. The salad itself was fresh and huge! I had received a call just before the delivery guy showed up so I was nice and ready for him. I'll make sure my office uses Classic Asia for all our Chinese cravings :)

F I N A L L Y. Finally after trying about eight different places, I have found one that checks all my boxes. This place was your well rounded Chinese takeout restaurant. Nothing fancy, which is great, because sometimes you just want the classic style food to pig out on your couch, not the foo foo city style that does it the "authentic" way. Dumplings were big and juicy. General chicken wasn't spicy (thank you!) and definitely made out of real white meat. Egg rolls were crispy goodness. Crab rangoons were large and creamy. And everything from the wonton soup (comes with general chicken meal) to the sauce packets (even threw in sweet and sour) was generous and priced right. Also, staff was super friendly. This will now be our go-to spot!

Enoki and egg soup is my favorite appetizer. Light broth with umami and perfect saltiness. My second favorite appetizer is agedashi tofu. So silky like pudding with light teriyaki broth. Beef roll up with scallions: beef is tender with some kind of sweet teriyaki sauce. It's pretty good. Eggplant filled with ground chicken. It looks appealing but unfortunately a bit too greasy. The sushi here is very special. The sushi rice is silky and moist. The fish piece is bigger than the rice. The eel is a must try here. It's very big compared to the rice underneath it. It very flavorful too. Mt entree is steamed salmon with seafood broth. I recommend squirting the lemon to the broth to make it taste like yuzu sauce as it lightens the whole dish and makes it less fishy.

PRO: I will say, if you want a place where you can sit and have a conversation, dark mood lighting (especially forgiving if the last time you saw each other alot was 20 years ago! - LOL), Sagami is an excellent choice. PRO: They don't rush you out - take your time. It was a Thursday night, so not especially busy when we came at 6:30 PM. CON: I could not find an updated menu online - I'm one of those people who like to peruse a menu in advance. I started with a vegetable tempura appetizer ($10) - excellent, light, airy, tasty. My main was the dragon roll - very tasty. Service was quite nice. Appetizers came out almost immediately, the rolls took a lot longer to get to our table. This is the kind of place where you're not paying to fill up your belly - but if you do, expect to shell out some bucks.

I usually go for sushi which is very good, one of my favorites is the So Good Roll. This restaurant is located in Collingswood, right on Haddon Ave. where there a plenty of restaurants and shops so parking can be a pain sometimes. We got lucky and got a spot right out front. This recent trip was planned last minute and I used a Groupon deal (for 4 people). My kids got the Ramen (one plain & one spicy miso) and they loved it. My only complaint about the Ramen is that they charged me full price for the bowl of just broth and noodles - for a 7 year old. Anyway, it was their first time eating real ramen vs the cup of noodles we get for the house. My husband got the salmon and I got (2) rolls: OMG Roll & Kan Kasa Roll - again, we were not dissappointed. Everything was fresh and delicious. The restaurant wasn't too crowded when we arrived but it seemed like there was only one waiter working. As busy as he was, he was nice and pleasant. Another favorite of mine can be found in the appetizer section: fried shrimp in creamy sauce (#11 on the menu I believe). The sauce has a kick to it, not too spicy in case you don't like spicy food. Collingswood restaurants are mostly BYOB. We didn't bring wine this last time since it was last minute but I have brought wine before. They'll open/serve it right away. I don't think there is a limit as to how many you can bring but I guess that depends on # of ppl in your party. Will I go again? Most definitely. My kids want to go back for more Ramen; maybe I'll try that next time instead of sushi.

Every Chinese place seems to have a spin on it. This one - prettier than it tasted, which was frozen tasting! Look at the sauce color ... ugh. Im not used to eating sub par food like this. I subbed the fried rice for white. Even that was not so good. Not sticky enough or something. Sadly, the star of the show was my sweet tea. Hard pass on this one!

It's all to go based which is a shame because the item that was tried is a cool option to sit and eat with others. Had the Godzilla Roll and Crazy Spicy Sushi Burrito. When I saw a picture pop up on the Yelp feed of a sushi burrito knew that it had to be tried! Godzilla roll was a good crunchy safe route although there was no wasabi. The burrito is still trying to compute in the brain and taste buds. You want to love it because how different it is, but realize the challenge of having to meticulously eat it without making a mess. Working with the paper wrap while eating. Overall, it's a decent spot that will probably go again, but with no dine in options and a tad on the high side for the burrito ($13.55) it will be more of a treat style place.
